PPP and Musharaf both are begarat. Only thinks about power.I can’t beleive people still vote for them. If people of Pakistan still vote for them, they deserve leader like this musharaf and Benazir.

I just heard the interview of Benazir on Geo in which she even denied going to Abu Dhabi. On other hand it was headlines in The Times which is a presitgious newspaper of UK where details of this deal was given even to the extent of giving the name of Hamid Nasir Chatta as Prime Minister. Actually Benazir thinks the pakistani people are most dumb and stupid people who have no IQ and would accept her playing of the words. If she was so honest then she should have clearly said that look I have not met Musharraf and there has been no deal on this. She chose to both not confirm nor deny it.

I think its time that we all Pakistanis rather than dividing ourselves in religious or liberal sections should divide into those who want to uphold the law and constitution and those who want to support dictatorship.

I was also surprised to hear to BB saying that our workers did a lot for movement of restoration of Chief Justice but she chose not name Aitazaz Ahsan. There were also news that Aitazaz is not going to be given party ticket - well I think the circumstances have changed now. Now Aitzaz has wons the hearts of people of Pakistan and if he stands in election even independently he would win with thumping majority. He doesnt need PPP but its vice versa.

I think Nawaz Sharif should approach Supreme Court for a constitutional petition facilitating his return to Pakistan and at least get his wife and Shabaz Sharif to Pakistan because they havent been convicted at all under any crime so they can come and participate in the elections and also he can come rather than wait any further.

The alliance of Nawaz Sharif, Imran Khan, Qazi, Asfandyar and PONM is very important because it is broadbased and represents a broad spectrum from right to left and they should fight elections together. Its time they do not depend on PPP any more because PPP would not help them ; but would rather prove to be a chain in their feet.

We all Pakistanis once for all should also make this commitment that in this elections we all vote and make sure we chose to vote for those who stood for upholding the law and justice.

Did you notice that it took BB three days to comment on removal of Chief Justice. She is no longer a symbol of freedom or democracy. She just wants her Prime Ministership thats all and mroe than that to save her assets and get those cases withdrawn against her. I am curious to know why is that if she is innoncent she is so keen to get her Swiss case withdrawn. If she is confident that she hasnt committed any crime then she should be least bothered.

The fight for Pakistan survival has started now and I would request all those readers who use this forum to tell their friends about this forum so that they also come and express their views. I would request all the patriotic Pakistanis to note email addresses of emininent columnists and newspapers and write to them through emails and expressing concerns. I would request PKPoltics.com admin to please provide email address of polticial leaders of all parties if they have one so that we can email them. As Imran Khan said we have to educate them whats happening. This would be a concerted effort and has to include all Pakistanis no matter what their origin is, where they live, what is their rellgion or sect and whatever their views are on various subjects - there is only mission and that is to save Pakistan. Otherwise our coming generation would not forgive us. Allah would never forgive us for the gift He gave to us in form of Pakistan and what we have done to it.

I would request Nawaz Sharif again to please come to Pakistan and the way Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry stood up to the bully you should also come and stand to this bully. Believe me this is the right time and people of Pakistan are looking upto you. APDM has a future and you would be surprised people of Pakistan would be with you.

Aoa brothers & sisters. I want to say something different. After 9/11, we have first time seen such a large scale of suicide bombings. Look at Iraq, every other day there are such suicide bombings which do not kill occupiers but innocent people. And it is happening too often that it has become a routine. An impression is being given by media that people get persuaded to do it because they feel that Islam is under attack and they are doing Jihad. So.. it means that people are doing it for islam. Now dont you feel such a big contrast in their acts. On one side they are going to get Shahadat but on other side they are killing innocent civilians whom they even dont know. Can one person be such a deep true muslim that emotionally he is ready to kill himself for Islam but on other side he doesnt bother if muslim civilians are killed? Why it was not happening in past? I can belive that they might be muslims who do these attacks but I cant believe that they even themselve know what they are doing when they do that. I strongly doubt there is any element of medication involved in doing their brain washing. Medical world is very developed now and who knows there may be black sheeps in our socities in shape of religious people who track people for doing these attacks and then brain wash them under medical treatement. Is it impossible? Second most important thing is that someone wants to finish element of jihad from Islam. People used to wish that their children become Hafiz e Quran, get shahadat. But now, especially after Lal Masjid tragedy, no one will be willing to send their kids to mosques for becoming hafiz e quran. On the other hand fahashi etc are being promoted internationally, some one wants us to be a muslim who goes to mosque some time but doesnt mind going to night club, who has been taught about jihad but is strongly confused about it, who reads quran but doesnt understand it. Everyone has his own opinion but I think we should read and understand quran, it is not right for us to send our kids to mosques for learning reading quran, instead we should ourself give them education of islam, and for that we will have to ourself learn it first, am I wrong? We have been divided to so many groups,like moderate and extremist.We should understand that we are all muslims.And in Islam there is no moderate and extremist.Those who act more on islamic value they are good muslims and those who do not act much they are also muslim.But due to this division such a hate has been created in our society that people has started killing each another.
And we should stop this division of the sociey and nation.We are all Muslim and Pakistani.
Now Pakistan is in transition state and we should support those people who work for pakistan not their polical interest and for other nation.We are fighting againt our people and we have to stop this.There was not any suicide bombing before in pakistan.There was no hate like this in our society.We have to stop this by supporting true leaders of pakistan not those work for others.
The future is in our hands.Mush and BB signed deal for thier own interest not for the nation.We Pakistani should understand this and vote for the right candidate.
If we select these two(Mush and BB) again the situation of the country will not change and people wil not stop killing each other.

I have read my respected brother comment above in which he has said that we should ourselvels educate our children in Islam. I would fully agree with it but for that we need to educate ourselves about Islam. Tell me honestly how many of us have studied Holy Quran and Hadith. Even if we do these two things and follow them it would be more than enough. Now as for educating children in madrassahs I would like to point out one thing. As we need doctors, engineers, computer experts, scientists, researchers, business leaders we also need religious scholars who can study in depth about Islam so that we may get benefit from it. For that we need to revise the system of Masdrassah so that we give them both religious education and scientific education (here i emphasize scientific education and not liberal education like arts etc) so that we can develop highly educated religious scholars. Because the more you study about things the more you know and the more you are powerful. Information is the most effective weapon in this world - thats why when Holy Prophet peace be upon him was made Prophet and the first divine message he got via Hazrat Jibril it was Surah Alaq and it said READ. We as Muslims can only compete with our adversaries by getting as much as information as possible - meaning we should entrust ourselves to study.

In religious education we not only need education about Islam but also about Islamic History and more important than that - comparative religious studies - meaning that we should also study what other religions teach so that we know what is the importance of Islam is and how lucky we are that we are Muslims. We need to know about the other people and only then we can compete with them.

But the most important issue at the moment is that we have to save Pakistan. We need to get together and support those forces WHICH ARE TRULY DEMOCRATIC AND WANT TO SUPPORT DEMOCRACY and UPHOLD THE CONSTITUTION OF PAKISTAN AS IT WAS ON OCT 1999.

The future is with APDM and we should fully support this alliance because it is comprised of all the forces in Pakistan whether they are religious or liberal or nationalist or regional. If we support APDM we can feel that we would be able to save Pakistan.

We should not only ask for democracy and free and fair elections but ALSO CONSITUTIONAL LAW. What BB is doing today is that she wants elections in which PPP can win and she is least worried about Constitution of Pakistan.

She i think has done the wise thing. She knows well that due to corruption cases she cannot return to the country and so in her absence other leaders from the party will be elected as the prime minister. So in order to “HUM TO DHOOBEY HAIN SANAM TUM KO BHEE LEY DHOOBEYNGEY” she has done this deal. It was all about to stop Amin Fahim from getting the premiership. Afterall, no one is gonna suppport PPP after this deal.

Here I would say my congratulations to media especially Geo tv for telecasting such quality debates and admin of this web site for making such a wonderful site at such a right time. I would like to give a suggestion to all medias. It has always been a problem in Pakistan that sharif adami is reluctant to come in mess of politics which results in selection of same old corrupt people again and again that’s why ordinary people have lost their faith in this system. There may be fair elections in future but because of scarcity of good people same old corrupt politicians may get selected. I think media should play such programs in which they encourage new people to come in politics and invite such firt time politicians, for coming elections, to come on tv and tell which party they support and why, what they want to do and how. We must consider our literacy rate, ordinary people of Pakistan are very simple and when a politician(local) adresses them in local jalsa there is no one to ask counter questions and he easily make a fool out of our ordinary simple people. If they are invited in programs of intelligent presenters who have ability to critically analyse them. It can make very big difference in Pakistani local area/domestic politics. It is quite possible in many areas of Pakistan that people may be willing to support Imran Khan but his local representative may not be sharp enough to convince them especially infornt of other parties’ old khanger local politicians. It is not an advance suggestion, this is a long process which can’t be done at eleventh hour of election time. Take care yourself and your loved ones.
