Retired Justice explained a strange provision in the constitution that could actually stop Musharra’s re-election. Retired Judge said that if opposition nominates a terminally ill person for Presidency and if that person dies before the election date of President, then the whole process would have to restart and General Musharraf would not be able to get re-elected from this parliament.
