As I said earlier, I dont think this site is acting fairly. The admin is only posting videos from the media. We all know, for unknown reasons media is aganist Musharraf. May be they didnt get a fair piece of pie .. sour grapes or whatever. To make this fair I earlier requested the admin of this site to post Musharraf speeches.
I also beleive that the pool, “How should General Musharraf be re-elected as President?” on the site, is biased as admin of the clearly support the view that Musharraf “Should gracefully retire”. So I would disqualify that category.
Now the votes distribution is
By current assemblies in uniform 22
By current assemblies as civilian 10
By next assemblies 10
Clearly 100% support Musharraf to be next president which is very consistent with the 97.5% votes he got in referendum
And 77% votes that he should be elected from current assemblies.
Mr. khawar has raised the point that admin is biased its not the case Mr. khawar but you don’t have courage to hear right thing. You also said that media may not have their pie if this is the case then i think whole pie has been eaten by PTV because it is the only channel favoring musharaf.
And for your part i will only say that i think you have all the grapes this could be only reason for you advocating a devil, a dictator if you are mentally fit.
I don’t believe there are still people who support Musharraf. This is insane. If Khawar is not joking then I think this is Musharraf himself writing with a changed name. Such is MUsharraf’s popularity level. As for referendum, you must have heard the proverb in Urdu: Geeder tou kharboozon ki rakhwali pey rakhna. SO that was the referendum. What other option was there for the results?

First of all i will suggest that you should study and do some research on the importance of constitution and law in the country.Also You need to study the long term consequence of breaking the law of a country.
A country is run by constitution and law not by a man.Anybody who goes against the law should be given punishment.The whole country and country system collopes when someone break the law.
By law Musharraf has no authority to have two jobs.Army is an instution with specific job and assignments.In every country there are thousands of institutins. Health, judiciary, education, etc.All these instution have thier own jobs and objectives.If one day the exectives of all these institutions decide to be president of the country.What will happend? Who will prevent all these things not to happen? of course the Law.In thier jobs they have not assinged that they can be the president or ruler of the country.
(Although Exectives of other institutions can never wish to be president or ruler because they have no backing power like weapons etc. only one instituion can over run the law which is the army because they have weapons and everything).
Every institution should do thier own job as specified in the law.The whole system collapse if an instutions try to do other job not specified by law.

Khawar,Referendum was a fake and drama.I regret but i voted couple of time on a same day for musharaf. Once i was a great Fan of him because his motto was accountbility and his agenda was good overall.but then he started to build his team of politicians with the help of ISI.All corrupt politician came to that group by blackmailing.we all know that and i dont need to repeat here. MQM is aterroroist organization,this is crystal clear but they are in govt.Karachi was used to be callled “City of lights” and now,since MQM started it’s activities.i myself,being a pakistan dont want to go there what do u expect from foreigner.MQM created bad reputation of pakistan al around.
Coming back to this video,Javed hasmi was an innocent in this case and finally he was releases.But i do think he is a brave and humble personality and a better leader than a Nawaz sharief.
These all are old faces,and we have tried them so many times. so i dont have too many expectation from all these politician.How ever, I do see some bright future of pakistan in the sence of IMRAN KHAN.he is aborn leader and his approach is positive.GOD BLESS PAKSITAN

Time to stick together and send a message to GHQ that enough of military rule. Pakistani people want and deserve democracy and courts will only be strong if the people keep their faith in a free judiciary. That is the reason the judges gave the historic verdict as they saw the mood of oridnary citizens. Enough of this “Doctrine of necessaity” and enough of this “what will we do if Mush leaves…what will happen…” Give the people a chance and every thing will turn out for the good.
