Political Parties did not have problem with MQM or their development work until 12th May 2007, when entire Pakistan heard Altaf Hussain calling Chief Justice as “Murderer” in Karachi Jalsa. In Pakistan 90% of the MNA beside MQM are either Fuedel Lords or Bureaucrates or some how attached to the Army (Punjabis). I know why MQM was established but they strayed away from their path.What is the root cause of creating MQM? Did we succeed, not really. Please dont try to segment yourself in mouhajirz, punjabiz and pathanz. This approach is not contructive at all. Pakistani is what you may wanna stick to. Regarding Altaf Hussain, he is the one guy in exile, have tons of cases on him. Murder charges against him and much more. Alot of my friends are from Karachi, after hearing them all, i can clearly say his reputation is not what his vote bank dictates. I have heard too many stories of how his area commander terrfies the people and those of money collection called Bhutta.

I dont like him because of so many reasons. But certainly not because he is mouhajir. Mind it he is there with the other leaders of same virtue and reputation, he is not alone who i dont like in pakistani politics.
