Benazir would do anything and everything to get back in power. This woman is a huge security risk for Pakistan. I feel bad for Etizaz Ehsan.

What perturbs me the most about these talks of a “deal” is the plain and simple question that what is this deal worth if PPP does not come to power? Which further leads to the conclusion that this “deal” ensures PPP (or BB to be more precise) will be in power. What about “fair and free elections” then? Do these guys think we are all fools?

    Aneeza,
I had predicted this 2 weeks ago here. That everything is decided. Next President Mush,
Pm BB even all CMs have been decided. No use of our votes. This is a democratic constitutional package which will be put to the parliament in a few days for hapless MNAs to put their stamps blindly. At such a defining moments in Pak History this is the worst thing which is going to happen

Abdul Hafeez Pirzada’s comments about changes in constitution is worth noting. The present proposed changes are not in the spirit of democracy but to make way for mush and bb hence malafied.
These crooks should be got rid off.

A woman who calls the punishments prescribed by the All Mighty as “BARBARIC” can never be sincere to Pakistan.

She only cares about her JAIDAD and considers her birth right to Rule Pakistan.

    Dear all,

Agree with you all.. and no doubt the aftermath of this deal would of course be an illegitimate government comprising corrupt BB and the traitor Musharraf. The issue is how to stop it …. when district governments will continue to function during the presidential election and subsequently the general elections. These district government will leave no stone unturned, will employ every crooked and corrupt tactic, (from harassing people to including fake votes) to bring this traitor Musharraf in power again.

The only, and trust me, the only way to stop it from happening is a civil movement, a mass movement. Now people need some motivation to come out on streets and protest. They need a leader. In these severe circumstances, the only person capable to cause a chaos in the lines of the cronies of Mush is Nawaz Sharif (corrupt or not is another debate). We should all expect that if he comes back as he just said in a press conf. people will flood the streets to give him a welcome and demonstrate their anger against the corrupt govt.

He might not be the one, but if he succeeds, we may hope that true democracy will finally start its course in Pakistan and we could finally proceed towards freedom and prosperity in a couple of decades, given the potential we as a nation have. God forbid, if that is not the case, than chaos, hardships and a civil war await us.

    God bless Pakistan.

I think PPP’s stand is very clear that based on principles. BB has never and will never compromise over the democratic principles, this is what Aitzaz is trying to tell people and there are reasons to believe in him and to believe the history of PPP. NS is a king of hypocrites and qazi is a ameer of hypocrites and Imran is surrounded by them though he has capability to deliver but he has not capability to win with the stuff around him. I wish him to succeed.

    Asif:

Do you still believe in destablizing neighbors was a good option? even after so many U-turns by mushi? Both BB and NS tried to stablize relations with neighbors. NS started to create distance from talbans …
