Totally agree with you. I wish they speak Urdu only in our programs and English when required. Speak English shouldn’t be considered as high status. We need to be proud of our language and who we are. Only then we will be respected in league of nations. We should teach and learn english cause its a universal language and all research and science is in English not to be enslaved by it

KAAASH the 67% silent majority had the power to get rid of the Leaders NS / BB / AH. I wish there were a rule that if the participation of the people is say less than 45% in the elections, than the election results would not be considered as valid and new elections would be conducted only once the Padrty Leaders have been replaced. Unfortunately this is not the case and the game of who is the most corrupt in the Musical Chair game would ultimately decide the next PM. Our so called leaders do not believe on the democratic principle that if their party looses in the election, then they should take the responsibility and resign as party leaders. Our Democratic leaders NS / BB are aparently not aware of this basic ethical democratic principal and every time (each have lost atleast twice) they loose, they vow to come back with “Defining Moments”

I totally agree with your comments. Ayaz Amir along with Cowajess are two reputable journalists who had the courage to expose Nawaz , Tarar, Qayyum corruption. The dilemma is the literacy rate in Pakistan is not that high, there is even a lesser percentage of readers for Dawn (and other News papers) and this sort of provides these corrupts so called leaders NS / BB a clean slate in 2007. If Media were as powerful as today, I can bet you can’t fight a person uglier than Nawaz (specailly his nexus with Tarar and Qayuum) in Pakistan.

Just for your information , Ayaz amir had been MPA for PMLN and was ticket holder of MNA seat from chakwal and lost 2002 elections (though a narrow margin) becos of extensive rigging.
I remember in one of our threads, u have said that u r supporting Imran..but they way u r commenting , it normally reflects ur mushi-ism. Isn’t it?.
If u see Imran as ur leader, havnt u tried to listen to him wat he is saying. U cant understand the priorities at this stage of Pakistani politics? Imran’s is focused for a final battle against the dictator ship as it shud be.becos chosing X Y or Z in a real democracy is the next step after getting rid of dictatorship.
And that also is through a process. No one can change the system overnight , throu shortcut. If u don’t agree with Imran then Openly tell that u r infact one of the few Mushi left.

U cant graduate prior to going for skool. Nawaz sharif,imran khan or any other leader…they r just MILESTONES on the way to democracy, they r not the the destination. We know that, but at the same time we must understand in a realistic way that we cant get democracy without going thru the process and currently the issue is how to START the process by throwing away the dictator.
At this stage, distracting form our real goal is clearly supporting Mushi and no one other than a pure mushi can do that.

- if a party lose the elections, party leader he/she resigns from the post!
- if a single case or issue is against the member of party or leadership, they resign!
- if a leader has enough chances to lead the country, they retire and give other chances to come forward and lead the party!

I don’t think any of the party leader in Pakistan follow these democratic norms in democracy! which apparently they are working to restore! specially for BB - there is only democracy when she is prime minister. anything else there are Kangroo Courts and no democracy if her party doesn’t win.

I don’t know why very decent people within PPP or another parties don’t come forward! I am sure they can find another person easily who doesn’t speak with any logic with good English and worst national language speaker.(I doubt if there is a single PM in the whole world who cant speak own language)Or they are waiting for Bilawal to take charge of PPP!

I can bet on BB she would accept a PM post at any cost, even if its offered without election/selection. She will be ready to be un elected PM/administrator for Pakistan.

People in Pakistan vote on basis of sympathy(BB lost her father, and brother, so she deserves to rule Pakistan regardless of any abilities), tribe and community mass voting. they dont care if the person is corrupt or criminal, that doesn’t matter.

I don’t have to comment on your allegations about your comment “mushi-ism�, you can dream whatever you want. I would appreciate if you can focus on the points and come-up with logical and substance rather than expressing your emotions. For a starter would you explain the following (I know it is a repeat of my request earlier, and I know this as well that you don’t have answer to it):

Why PML(N) is welcoming LOTAS from PML(Q), you call this principles, to me this is hypocrisy as NS has been out loudly criticizing these LOTAS for last 8 years?
How can MMA raise the slogan of Democracy while they are enjoying power sharing with Gotvt.?

I know about Ayaz Amir being from PML(N), that is why I admire his courage that he still had the guts to expose NS and Qayyum nexus.

I would also appreciate if you can point out which thing from the above is baseless, please don’t run away!

Your are again missing the basic point…………….democracy is a process………..there is no short cut………we shud first do a struggle to restore the democratic system………once it gets started (without military involvement either from front end or back end and dopnt forget we never had that in the past)..then we can go for changing the leadership ..
And that will b thru fair elections………..as some one had said that elections r like ocean waves….and all the waste material will b thrown out gradually….

If u have really a one touch button formula when everything will b perfect when we wake up in the morning….then do let me know….

For example in urban areas…people have more political awareness and normally vote on political affiliations ..unlike the rural areas……..so u will not see any one moving to PMLN in urban areas….becasue there they do have alternative people with affiliations based on political ideology..
On the other hand ..in most of the rural areas , specially southern Punjab, there are many constituencies where no one from either PPP or PMLN is there to come up as alternative to the people who u r referring to….if YOU think (and WE think), we can give better alternative leadership (at any level), please don’t limit urself to just the webpages, ……If You (WE) will not come up and do that then we have no EXCUSE and we cant blame the people who are grabbing the opportunity.
It’s the pople who needs to give enuf support to a leader so he can give tickets to KHAMBAs in elections….

This is the basic thing where I differ from you (in my opinion). I want that people should show resentment to the parties they support so that they can rectify, only than we can hope for a change. If we continue to welcome proven corrupts, the parties will not take any action to change the leadership. So yes I do support that current Dictatorship should end (sooner the better) but at the same time I expect the people to enforce the PML(N) and PPP to change their leadership.

NS and PPP are real lucky that during their era, the Youtube was not being used as it is today, otherwise many of their acts were much more grave than that of current regime and I would not have been arguing you about change in leadership, they would have been thrown by their respective parties much earlier.

I have totally lost my trust on NS and BB, not because of webpages, but because I have seen their tenures (twice each), I use webpages support only to supplement my arguments (youtube was not there in those corrupt eras). This is only because I know many of the young people (I am not talking about you) may not be aware of the facts and as such they get one sided coverage on the media. Now please don’t misunderstand me again, I want the current regime to go ASAP. But at the same time I want that media should provide the true picture so that people can than built opinion based on all the information. And of course I wish that message to the parties should also be conveyed that we are fed up with their leadership and need change in the party.
