Admin please make a link in which we can send you suggestions. We are students from Sweden and watch the programme regularly. We have some suggestions for you. Like updating the news or interviews from US or UK regarding Pakistan. We can also provide a lot of resources to you, regarding donations etc. At least we can try for this.
Democracies around the world, don’t use leaders that are tried and test for worst things!
- if a party lose the elections, party leader he/she resigns from the post!
- if a single case or issue is against the member of party or leadership, they resign!
- if a leader has enough chances to lead the country, they retire and give other chances to come forward and lead the party!
I don’t think any of the party leader in Pakistan follow these democratic norms in democracy! which apparently they are working to restore! specially for BB - there is only democracy when she is prime minister. anything else there are Kangroo Courts and no democracy if her party doesn’t win.
I don’t know why very decent people within PPP or another parties don’t come forward! I am sure they can find another person easily who doesn’t speak with any logic with good English and worst national language speaker.(I doubt if there is a single PM in the whole world who cant speak own language)Or they are waiting for Bilawal to take charge of PPP!
I can bet on BB she would accept a PM post at any cost, even if its offered without election/selection. She will be ready to be un elected PM/administrator for Pakistan.
People in Pakistan vote on basis of sympathy(BB lost her father, and brother, so she deserves to rule Pakistan regardless of any abilities), tribe and community mass voting. they dont care if the person is corrupt or criminal, that doesn’t matter.
in my view, due to personal hanging on to power, Political parties have failed to produce leaders cause there is no culture of transfer of leadership in their life!any voting done within the parties every to elect the leader??? its just bunch of top group who select the same old used leaders.once they are start doing that, parties will be stronger not a person. same will be be infused to government, then system will function if any saja gamma come and go!
The Lost Decade (1988-1999). The history of Pakistani politics is one of failure to establish enduring and credible political institutions. For many years, the generals alternated with political leaders. The causes of this political instability are greater than the personal ambitions or failings of Pakistan’s leaders . The governments of Benazir Bhutto and Nawaz Sharif (each with two terms in office between 1988 and 1998) lacked any ideology. They both tried to appear in modernist garb, but performance was generally worse than that of their predecessor governments. Both Nawaz Sharif’s and Benazir’s terms have been characterized by excessive corruption, involving Benazir’s husband and Nawaz personally, and his family. Free market policies, political opportunism plus financial greed were the uniting features of both Prime Ministers, while they waged political war against each other for personal domination of the political system. Corruption, the still prevalent power of feudal landowners, and the permanent power games of the political elite all contributed to paralysis in the political system. The economic situation worsened to an extent that the decade is now known as “The Lost Decade.reserve was 773 million dollars now it is 16300 million dollars . stock exchange was at 980 now it is like over12500 .that is why both looking towards with greedy eye 16500 million dollars NS and BB wake up pakistan
Musharaf is a dictator but nawaz sharif is jamhoori dictator which is worest type. I hope nawaz sharif and BB never return to pakistan untill death as they have looted so much and made pakistan to its knees.
@ Waheed,
I already posted my comment that BB is absolutely right to save her money and to have a deal to withdraw cases against her…. Who the hell is thinking about party and party workers….and if u can have 2 B $ in ur pocket , then in pakistani politics, u can re-enter victorious any time in future..……and this is supported by the fact that PPP leadership openly says that Urban population and educated people are not their voter domain………..and for the rest it will not b difficult to fool them again after some time………and yes don’t forget B $s…….factor..
While watching this program I was at a loss in deciding what to feel: amazement at Chaudhry Shujaat’s IQ, utter astonishment on our ” new” law minister’s thick skin (beghairiti, to put it in a better way), disgust at Buhkhari’s dhitayee, or exasperation at Mr Hafiz’s double talk. What a bunch of leaders we guys have
I am still willing to put up with all of them if and only if we manage to get a fair election this time and musharraf leaves us without any deals. I will forgive all of them (if that amounts to anything). But I guess it is too much to ask and wish for…..
Marshal Law kis ke khilaf lage ga :). May be Mush will implement marshal law against his own Govt. Why not these army rulers have done everything to make Pakistan a joke in international community so who knows what else they can so.
Ahsan Iqbal is really educated and intelligent and we need people like him and Imran.
Playing with the emotional cords rather than logical and sensible way of conducting a program seems to be the characteristic of this talk show host. By any objective standards his allocation of time to the guests, questions, and comments were biased. It will be of great service to the nation if talk show hosts like Mr. Mir reflect on their shows to determine whether their comments are independent and fair or biased and unbalanced. Leading questions to serve personal wishes and unfair allocation of time has a negative impact on host’s impartiality.
Dear All,
Its really great that our youth is taking too much interest in highlighting issues. These are issues and we can talk on these for a long time. I think we should make a forum to disucss HOw to solve these problems….. our emphasis should be on resolving problems rahter repeat those. If we get success in it, it will be a great achievement. Who did what? all are corrupts… we all know but Now in this situation what should we do? what are our responsibilities? I am inviting all of you to suggest for betterment of country rahter disappointing statements. lets talk on it …..
Regards
Rawalpindi blasts may be an execution of a plan to threaten the pindi people from participating
the reception of Nawaz Sharif.
No doubt, security risk at the rush places can discourage the people to participate in NS’s reception.
So this may be the plan,
Even if the bus was of ISI or some other org,
present govt can go to any extent, as announced by govt and also it is obvious from govt actions.
(Sorry ,I used the word of govt, istead it should be ‘general sb’)
