The scene at the election commission was created and executed by the corrupt political parties with their workers.
There may be some truth in what they say but how dothey think they are character and superior human beings compared to the General. Bhutto wanted himself to be elected for 15 years before he was hanged. His daughter has injustice done to her and she does not want to deplete her monitary reserves and would do anything to come back to power and rule.The same is true of Nawaz Sharif. The Mullah also want power. Now they want the public to come in the street and spill their blood for the selfish politicians. The people should stay at home and watch the entertainment on TV and keep themselves safe. Maybe this general may perform improve the country’s lot. Substantial constructive work was done by the regime in the past years. I would like to try him for another 5 years and give enough time for the political parties to bring in honest leaders unlike bb and NS.
@Rehana: How ironic that u have been testing mush for 8 years with all powers, and still say “don’t blame him, he needs more time”. Yet for politicians , whether they be bb or ns, u blame them for everything even though they only get 1.5-2 years in power. That’s very fair isn’t it? Also, can u tell me where bhutto said he wanted to be prime minister for 15 years? If ur that much worried about dictatorship, than why are u kissing mush’s ass who is a military dictator. U don’t have anything to say when pervez elahi said that we will elect mush 10 times in uniform.
Now let’s come to the so-called “mega construction projects” that u claim mush has done. Where do u live? In Jupiter? Clearly, u are not from pakistan or are probably the spoiled child of a rich and arrogant army official. Kindly take a walk outside of ur defence mansion and see the state of the country, before making such stupid comments. Just in last week of august/07, a bridge collapsed in broad daylight even though mush himself had inaugerated it 2 weeks earlier. I need not say more about mush’s construction projects.
I salute Lawyers movement, Musharraf ought to go. In my opinion the movement would not only gain further momentum but also can remove the perception of being politically motivated, if they include (a) Democracy in political parties and (b) Removal of NS and BB as party heads, as part of their agenda.
