i do think the runp of the ppp-p will split into pro-us and anti-us factions and could unify PTI and imran khan in the long run in pakistani poltics.

First I want to make it clear, before someone labels me as pro-Musharraf that I am absolutely against Military Dictatorship in any form. I believe in Democracy as the best available system of Government.
There are about 78 political parties, registered with the Election Commission of Pakistan. Each party leader feels safe only in the chair of Prime Minister.
What holds Nawaz Sharif, Imran Khan, Altaf Hussain, Benazir, Achakzai and some other moderate leaders from getting united?
There should have been only THREE political parties, to make the political process easier for the voters.
1. Conservative Group: having all the
Religious political parties, JUI, JI,
Pro-Taliban and Maullas.
2. Liberal and Moderate Group: Muslim
League, PPP, MQM, TI and their supporting
Groups.
3. Radical and Progressive Group: NAP and
their supporting groups.
So many political Groups have made it easy for the Military to play with. Military and the Chamchas can buy small ’shopkeepers’ with a little effort. It will be very hard for a Dictator to capture a Super Store, erected upon a solid foundation.
It is too early to criticize BB and PPP. She has not delivered anything to Musharraf, yet.
He got ‘elected’ rather selected only through his ‘Chamchas’. I don’t feel, he will stay for five years at the Post.
The real game is to start upon her arrival to Pakistan. That will be the time to judge her performance and to reach any conclusion.

@Saqibtahir: I totally agree with u! But u have to understand that most of the children commentating here live in basements in the u.s. and have not gone back to pakistan once in their lifetime. They know nothing about pakistani culture or mindset. They live in a utopian world of Islam where maulana sahib is equal to God. Such a person is qasim.

Qasim Bhai, What evidence you need. Any one who has been in Pakistan and has some memory left remember these facts. Jamaat is the most evil force in Pakistan. They called Quaid Azam Kafir Azam, Called Pakistan Paleedistan, Moudoodi declared 1947-7 Kashmir Jihad haram. JI was outlawed in 1958. Jamaat served their masters i.e. USA and Saudies very well. Even today they served Musharf very well. All petition challenging Musharaf were done by Qazi. He is playing double game. Mulla Fazloo today blamed JI speaker of NWFP assembly for delaying voting to Oct 8. What else prrof you need. Is admission of Aslam Beg and Hameed Gul and Nawaz Sharif not enough to prove JI character?

I fails to understand the West’s and America’s ally Pak Army and Mr;Musharraf, because Pakistan Army created Taliban and fueled religious extremism. Mr Perviz Musharraff preaches moderation but has left NWFP and Baluchistan reels under mullas. Mullah have opened illegal FM stations and have barred girls form going to school. They also have established their own Shahria govt in Distt Swat and surrounding areas. It appears NWFP is not a part of Pakistan because every day there are explosions in different parts of NWFP and no one even bothers in Islamabad. I think Pakistan is leading towards dis-integration and I will be very happy if this cancer spreads to Punjab and Karachi.
