A seven-member bench headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar M Chaudhry sought detailed information from the government to fix responsibility for Sharif’s deportation to Jeddah on September 10.
He asked the authorities to provide information on the person who had chartered the VIP flight that took Sharif back to Saudi Arabia.
FIA officials were asked to explain why they had not documented Sharif’s arrival and departure while the National Accountability Board was asked to explain within three days why its officials had not taken Sharif into custody after presenting arrest warrants to him.
The court was hearing the contempt petition filed by Sharif’s lawyers.
Today’s court hearing again brought into sharp focus the confrontation between Musharraf and the judiciary, which was sparked by the General’s failed attempt to sack Justice Chaudhry.
Thanks …

No doubt Musi is a crook but CJ must make decisions based on constitution and not be inclined to any one party. Thats what courts are suppose to do. Once again Politicians including PPP give Mushi a life line. CJ can’t take on the Military, GOV and sold out polticians on his own. Don’t you see BB lovers in steets celebrating. Trust me she is gonna get the reception of life even after a shameful deal………. WELCOME TO PAKISTAN….where things never change !!

I second this comment “WELCOME TO PAKISTAN….where things never change !!”
Why CJ made a bench which already supported Mush??
It is all drama, we are watching a recorded episode…. depressing, and heart breaking situation…but then it comes to my mind that there is One Supreme being, The Almighty Allah, who is watching everything, and His plan will fail the planning of bush, mush, nawaz and qaaf lotas…these politicians are acting like vultures.

asa,
Imran Khan has no chance. Just look at the reception BB is getting, it tells u the mind set of Pakistani nation. The two major palyers would be PPP and PML (Q) if Nawaz comes back. I would either vote to Imran Khan to Jammat Islami. But if i had to choose a lesser evil it would be NAWAZ and not BB.

I am an optimistic person but feel that Pakistan is at rock bottom.
When a limit is reached, something got to happen.
I strongly sense that SC is working to a plan.
Just wait and see. Not long to go.

Nawaz Sharif zindabad … !!!

I don’t understand one thing, why we always keep Nawaz Sharif and Benazir in same bracket. Benazir and company is a proven crook person whereas Nawaz Sharif has got the bad name only because he has happened to be an industrialist politician in an era where democratic values are not so strong. The recent events have drawn a very distinct line between the two. It does not take a lot to understand where the two former prime ministers are coming from. One is cocerned about personal gains and is ready to give up its ideology. The other is concerned for its principle stance and is ready to five up anything for it.
We should support sincere politicians like Nawaz Sharif (a very rare breed in Pakistan these days).

All support Chaudhry Shujaat as the PM for life–because he with the family are the best politicians who suit nation’s interest. Look at the talented they have mustered: from Durrani to Sher Afghan to Raza Kasuri.
