We must be hopeful.
Pessimism is equal to kufur according to Holy Quran. Because only Devil is pessimist.
Even if the verdict is against Mush, he is the real loser. He has no credibility.

Suppose that the decision is against Musharaf.And he goes into retirement without any martial law etc. What next? Do we have a leader in the waiting?

We can never accept Generals. Our politicians will be accepted and rejected by us. We never chose Musharraf. He is not our leader.
We might have rejected BB & NS by now, but thanks to Mush we know that they are million times better than generals. Musharraf kept both BB & NS alive by his dirty games.
Politician Bhutto left a safe Pakistan. Zia gave it Heroin & Kalashinkov; Politican BB & NS left a relatively safer Pakistan where leaders used to be on public’s shoulders, General Musharraf has turned that into Suicide bombers haven. Leaders are not safe even with body guards and trucks. Politicians got us Gawadar, Generals gave in East Pakistan, Siachen, Kashmir and God knows what’s next.
Generals should leave politicians alone. Ultimately we have to go through this POLITICAL process. Sooner we do, it is better for Pakistan.
As I said when BB arrived that she won’t stay long in Pakistan. BB is leaving to Dubai tommorrow ….We are going to miss her (NOT!)
We stand here condemning Mush. Think why he has lasted 8 years?
Could it be that the same people were relieved and elated when Mush overthrew an elected Government?
We as Pakistanis need to have a single and consistent ideology which embraces Democracy, Islam, Justice and Tolerance. However we continue to change our mind as to what we want; mostly to fulfill our own selfish interests.
We should strive for accountability and good governance and the current situation as well as past dictatorships endorses that this can only be done through democracy in the long-run.
None of the successful countries have ever had Generals deliver good Governments. This can only be done by politicians as they are accountable through the ballot box to their people.
Look at the Worlds largest democracy for example (India); a Government has succumbed to political pressure not to compromise on National Interest. Can you imagine Mush’s Pakistan doing what Singh’s India is doing?
Naa. He is not going anywhere.. Our judges will provide him the “Safe Passage”. N i see no BB in future.
