i think musharraf is only thinking about his chair and is least bothered about his responsibilities.just because of his non serious attitude towards the betterment of the country,today eveyone is suffering!!
i hope allah guide him to the straight path.
i also appeal to the citizens of pakistan to stay united in these bad times.

For those who are unthinkingly supporting Mush - by his own admission he states that the scurity of the nation is at stake. Who has been in TOTAL control for the past 8 years? He has not been able to control this for 8 years - what silver bullet does he have that will suddenly fix it after he declares emergency? All he has done is kill the independant judiciary so that they will not question his non-constitutional acts and clamp down on the media so that they will not expose him. As for those who talk of corruption - do you think that the Chaudhries et al are honest? As well as all those generals who own half the real estate in Pakistan? The Pakistan army is not a fighting force - they only know how to occupy their own country.

I am very sad and could not even get myself to write something. Tons of people in Pakistan have been arrested so one man can rule. This is martial law and not an emergency. People not knowing the repercussions posting in favor of Mush. I am a very peaceful person but today my heart is cussing Mush and i just cant stop it.

Media being blocked, judges out of service, people being arrested…………..Shameful acts of a annoying dictator.

I agree with Mr. Asif’s comments. yes a dead nation desreves musharaff who will take them for a ride till he is dead and another musharaff takes over. Those who say they have faith in Pakistani Qaum are living in fools paradise as pakistani qaum has faith in the one who gives them a salary cheque every month and they will do aany thing for this cheque. A minority may be alive but does not matter. All do INTELEECTUAL MASTERBATION in the comfort of their home and do nothing in practical. As some one rightly said we are not a nation we are a crowd and that is what we are and our masters treat us as crowd negotiate their way through and leave us in lurch. We are used as tissue papar for all bad puposes and discarded. We will become smaller crowd every decade or two by dismemberment of this country. Look at this for God’s sake that our state TV was running an Add something like “Incredibel India” yesterday. I feel like vomiting. Things will go from bad to worst as the days pass unless we rise

one thing is pretty interesting here.
he said that as the country is at the verge of a war and terrorist are walking on the streets so he wants emergency. But I dont understand one thing that, as pakistan army is already fighting against these terrorist, but puting emergency what cannon musharaf will bring to kill all the terrorist at once, 2nd thing is that why he made a black out in the media? khuch tu hai jis ki perda dari hai. Just nothing but the fact that he was afriad of being declared illegal in his presidential win so he did all that stupid stuff. I also dont understand and what I want some of u 2 explain me that if it is emergency it shud be justified by the court. PCO only comes when u didmiss the constituation. Here both the things are there , for me it means marshal law when u do all what u want to do. plz explain that what kind of state the country is in?

Please Zeeshan we are all really downtrodden and literally in tears at the moment. Don’t ignite us further.

None of us has ever said (accept may be a few ardent supporters of PPP and PMLN) that BB and NS are angels. They have been really bad. What we cry for is the way the system is intercepted in the middle. NS, BB whoever comes in power, at least we have the consolation that the system is moving and will throw its garbage out in maybe a decade or two. With steps like these, nothing will improve. Ever.

Please also don’t say that ” we don’t deserve democracy and blah blah” . My parent’s generation fought for years against Britian to gain this right. It is heart rending to see our own army treating us like second rate citizens. Please stop insulting our intelligence. Please stop insulting our parents. If you think Pakistanis ” don’t deserve democracy” , you have the right to leave Pakistan. We feel that we belong here, we want to go back. We want our children to grow up there. Please stop questioning our children’s right to a free country.
