The only purpose of banning the Media is to prevent the public’s visual;ization of what Musharraf has done to the Supreme Court. That is the only reason. A gangster who has his own police , robs, makes his own laws, arressts the Judges and thewn stops ANYONE from talking about this robbery. That is Musharraf-
I am loosing the hope that something will happen in Pakistan to save the judiciary. We are a military coloney and will remian so as the common person is not interested in bringing any change. The people are tired,suspicious of everyone and want stability even it comes at a huge price of the judiciary. The country is cantering to its logical conclusive times.

abuse, harass, stalk, threaten or otherwise violate the legal rights (such as rights of privacy and publicity) of others
Well the gov is violating the human rights of 160 million people and who r they to introduce such a law on the media.
2)charge falsely or with malicious intent; attack the good name and reputation of someone; “The journalists have defamed me!” “The article in the paper sullied my reputation”
Mate you have abused him yourself. So check urself first. Please. I am not with or against him. My concern is why have not in all these years we and our politicians have not stood up against tyranny. And this is the day we see today. What about standing up against jagirdana nizam in country. What about standing up against some of those educated people who dont let there girls take better job. What about standing up against the Sardars of Balochistan. We shouldnt take any body side. We should only be vocal against ALL kind of tyranny and be TRUTHFUL to ourselves. Thanks.

Why Electronic media was banned?
Because it was promoting public opinion as the Law, & was threatening a Full STOP to the power-hungry-indviduals.
No Public opinion on PTV, thatswhy its running & running……..
So I would go for the restoration of Electronic Media 1st, which promoted the public opinion 1st time in the history of Pakistan.
