Alas Prime Minister Mohammad Nawaz Sharif has arrived in Pakistan. We well come him back. This is historical event of immense importance. Under the current uncertain situation, Pakistan needs some one like NS to unite the nation and put the country on the right path.
In my opinion there is no deal between Mush and NS. Musharaf is in serious trouble and under the pressure from KIng and US, has, allowed NS to return. In my opinion Mush got assurance from NS not prosicute him for his misdeeds and crimes, after he has remove his skin(military uniforma).
We sincerely ask NS to stand firm behind his promises made to the nation as follows
1- Complete restoration of judiciary and reinstatement of Judges before Nov. 3
2- Immediate lifting of Marshal Laws and relese of all the detainees
3- free the media and release all the journelists
4- Finally free and fair election for every one under independent care taker govt.
Let the people of Pakistan decide who they wish to run their affairs. Pakistan awam is vey intellectual and smart. All that they need is to be given a chance to sort out their problems. They don’t need any inereference from foreign elements.
Lastly I would like to ecourage all of us to work for better Pakistan and for the welfare of all Pakistanis. We must restore the dignity and good name of Pakistan in the global arena. For those who are di-hard supporter of Mush and Choudries, I ask you to to convince Mush to contest election just like any ordinary citizen. I might concider voting for Mush, after I have reviewed his credentials. Mush does not have to destoy our contitution to stay in power. Due to the reckless policies of Mush, The good image of Pakistan has been tarnished and seriosly damged in the world.Mushe’s supporter should be allowed to express their opinion as they wish, but It’s mind bogling to see their support for the person who has, tarnished and destroyed the image of Pakistanis and Pakistan abroad.

The image of Paskistan is not important. It means nothing what other countries think of Pakistan. What is important is what the people of Pakistan think of Pakistan.
It is Pakistan that is IMPORTANT. It is what Pakistan is that we ought to work for.
We saw a very short glimpse of the possiblities with the Chief Justice Iftikhar and the likes of Talat Husain, Kshif Abbasi, Hamid Mir and Dr. Masood .
Musharraf must realize that there is no place for the likes of him. He had a great opportunity to become immortal and go down in history as a great person. All he had to do was not to do what he did on Nov 3 . If the supreme court had ruled against him- then he should have accepted that and said so in a national address and reminded the nation that he is doing this for the good of Pakistan which would have been true. But the true character of the man shwoed up and now the nation must go on.
Nawaz Sharif et al have the same situation. They have to show that in oredr to live forever in the hearts and minds of Pakistan- they must rise up and not repeat their past msitakes. I hope they do- If they do not- they must keep in mind Pakistan has changed and it will not accept any hanky panky now if OUR media is FREE. I know they are FEARLESS.

Why our nation suffers from Amnesia? Both BB and NS plundered this poor nation, had major riots during their tenure, failed to establish any institution, and used national exchequer for personal gains. As today this forum is promoting NS, it is prudent to take a look back at our so called leader. In his first, term during the election he was the first Punjabi leader to use the famous slogan of “Jaag Punjabi Jaag, Teri Pug noon Lag Gaya Daag�, so national leader he is. Then he collected money from every day Pakistani again using a deceptive slogan “Qarz Utaro Mulk Sawaro�, no one knows where that money went. Military dictator Zia ul Haq used to call Nawaz his son, some democratic roots he has. In his second tenure, he suffered from the illusion that by only serving Punjab, he can garner enough votes to continue to run this country. He also hated Supreme Court and his party attacked Supreme Court to harass the sitting Chief Justice of Pakistan, Sajjad Ali Shah. Finally, his Abba Ji’s friend Tarar was used to buy judges of supreme court to oust Sajjad Ali Shah. Tarar was hand picked by Abba Ji to be the next president of our country. There was a hope that Nawaz will give share power with other provinces but alas he was determined to serve only his native province, some national leader he is.

Nation is stuck between rock and a hard place, military dictator Mushu or select one of the failed losers. What a pity and lose-lose situation.
