I feel tremedous pride in being Paksistani today. The incidents back home had exposed a great deal in terms of dedication and sacrifice for our beloved nation by media, judges, lawers. I do hear the right kind of noises from some politicians. What remains to be seen is their words would translate into actions in the near future. I am extremely disappointed with MMA Fazl group. I am ashemed that people who portray themselves as defender of faith would be the first ones to run away from Jihad against tyranny. Shame on them.I truly pray that remainder of opposition would unite on one platform. May be this will force Fazl’s MMA to reconsider their stated position of taking part in the election. Bycoting this election would result in total destruction of credibility for Mr Mush. And prssuure from west and everywhere would mount for restoration of judiciary, freedom of expression, lifting of martial law etc. Then and only then free and fair elections can be carried out under the contitution. How can any elections be legitimate under PCO if This PCO itself is un constitutional.

At least the major players in the national politics are back in the country. Hopefully they can form a consensus about what to do next. I pray that the first and foremost priority will be to reconstitute a free judiciary.
