WE SHOULD PUT PRESSURE ON AITIZAZ TO DISSOCIATE WITH BB - enough is enough
He wants everyone to say NO to Musharraf but he does not have the cuorage to say NO to BB.
He has to come clear now - on whose side he is. Because BB has made up her mind - she has decided to dump the judges and she talks of this so called independence of judiciary.
Mind you if we accept this PCO today then forever army can come in at any time, put PCO there , get things done their way and in the end get their validation - so what we are doing is that we are permanently paving the way for army intervention and they wont even have to give any reason for that.
This is not about judiciary - this is more than that - it is about putting army out of Pakistan governance.
We are in fact legalising teh army intervention forever in politics of Pakistan.
BB is agreeing with NS for all other points not because of Pakistan but because she wants to make sure that she gets in power and no one can remove her then. She is using Nawaz Sharif.

I am very much disappointed by the attitude of BB - she also left at that time when Musharraf was going to impose emergency and she has done now again when he had to make such an important decision. Couldnt she remain away from her kids for few days. AFter all she is leading the country politics and could have gone once she had made up her mind regarding teh judiciary either way.
Her husband is there with teh kids - so what was that important that she had to leave.
One thing is very interesting. I was watching DM digital today and all the callers were very upset that Shabaz Sharif has said they are going to make a decision either way in next 48 hours and that why NS did not wait for 4 days until BB returned while the at same time ignoring what BB had done with NS this time - I am sure these Q league and PPP are really scared now that NS is determined to go ahead even when he and his brother has been disqualified because that is going to affect their votes because if PML N had boycotted both Q and PPP would have got the windfall.
I am not saying that NS is doing right in going for elections but I am commenting how PPP leaders are very upset that NS did not fall in thier trap and have seen their game.
The biggest loser in this whole game would be BB - no doubt about that.
I wish these elections are free and fair - we want to see the end of BB once for all.

Dawn news was reporting on Atta crisis in Pakistan and people had queued since morning and they had to return unsuccessfully after queuing for 10 hours.
They asked people why aren’t ruling junta worried about Atta and someone said because they are not counting on our votes. They will win elections anyway!!

You have been constantly defending BB I dont know why? I am not anti-BB at all but there are some resent past events that make me think that BB is not playing fair with Pakistani people.For example
1) BB and PPP always denied that there is not going to be a deal with general mush but we saw that NRO (One of PPP sitting senetor was assissting in writing it so you cannot claim that it is not for or due to PPP) happened?(Here point to be noted is NRO is defined as “Smooth transition towards democracy”)
2) She didnt wanna become partner in APDM due to presense of mulla Diesel now she is even ready to have seat adjustment with him what is going on here am I or Pakistani people mad or dumb?
3)AS far as NRO is concerned as Hamid Mir said in his program most of the PPP representatives were totally against it yet it was befitting her so she didnt listen anybody.Prominent people who were against it were Aitazaz Ahsan(Hero for me),Raza Rabbani, Naseerullah Baber etc etc.
4) Due to this NRO PPP didnt resign from parliament when president’s election was commencing.You know PPP was only opposition party in parliament at that time and if PPP would have resigned as well then there would have been no opposition party present in national assembly and it would have been easy decision for supreme court that this election is not legitimate.What is purpose of obstaining.There was no benefit of obstaining election.
5) She came back and said she is ok with mush if mush leaves his beloved uniform.Then she goes to dubai and Nov 3 happens and she comes back and want to get as much as possible out of situation mush does not agree on that then she says uniform or not uniform mush is not accepted and our CJ is Iftikhar Ch(hero for me) and guess what SOB negropontae comes and here again mush is acceptable and what no slogan for restoration of judiciary what is going on.
6) My hero Aitazaz Ahsan is in house arrest and wants restoration of judiciary and guess what he gets no support from BB. BB is showing complete ignorance on Aitazaz’s situation i want to know why. After 9 march he is hero of most of Pakistanis and if BB have used his voice then PPP would have get even more appreciation througout the country. But why BB will want a person like Aitazaz to become such a hero that he will become a threat for BB’s beloved PMship one day so her ignorance is quite understandable.
7) Wanna hear some joke. “Hum is election main ahtajaji tor per shamil ho rahay hain” by BB.
All in all i am definitely sure with one thing that if judiciary is going to be restored then it can be before election.
Mark my word after election who ever comes into power he/she is never going to restored judiciary.All they will say is what ever happened was wrong but since it has happened so lets move on and try to ensure that it never happens again thats it.Mulla diesel has already said that past judges are history and rest will follow the suit as well.

Just imagine their problems. These people can’t even afford Atta. If they come out, who will feed their kids?
Most of the people are only eating once a day because of price of Atta. If they are arrested even for a few days, their kids will die of hunger.

yes i agree with you - with his greediness of power we had lost half the country - can you tell me this thing - why did he refuse to accept that Mujeeb who had 167 seat in an assembly of 262 against his 81 - be given the power and allowed to become Prime Minister.
yes after that he gave us 1973 consitution but you may not be aware that he wanted a presidential constitution but he was forced into 1973 consitution and after he got that he dismissed NWFP and Baluchistan Assembly and ordered army action against Baluchis.
May I ask why did he make Tikka Khan as Chief of Army Staff who is famous as Butcher of Bengal.
May I ask why BB made Tikka Khan as governer of Punjab and had given him ticket against Sheikh Rashid from whom he lost miserably.

If he was a true democrat then why did he stayed in Ayub Khan cabinet for 8 years as Foreign Minister. He was teh architect of 1965 war because it was he who had advised Ayub that he should attack in Occupied Kashmir and when Shastri opened front in Lahore - war broke out and only because of sacrifice of Pakistani soldiers who gave their lives lying under the Indian tanks and blowing them up - saved Lahore.
yes he did give his life - we all say that he was hanged wrongly and it was a judicial murder. But may I ask what element of brilliance and competence he had seen in Zia ul Haq that he promoted him over and above 7 generals. Didnt he know that Zia as a brigadier or major general had ordered massacare of Palestenians in Jordan and he was appointed on advice of King Hussain of Jordan.

You have been constantly defending BB I dont know why? I am not anti-BB at all but there are some resent past events that make me think that BB is not playing fair with Pakistani people.For example
1) BB and PPP always denied that there is not going to be a deal with general mush but we saw that NRO (One of PPP sitting senetor was assissting in writing it so you cannot claim that it is not for or due to PPP) happened?(Here point to be noted is NRO is defined as “Smooth transition towards democracy”)
2) She didnt wanna become partner in APDM due to presense of mulla Diesel now she is even ready to have seat adjustment with him what is going on here am I or Pakistani people mad or dumb?
3)AS far as NRO is concerned as Hamid Mir said in his program most of the PPP representatives were totally against it yet it was befitting her so she didnt listen anybody.Prominent people who were against it were Aitazaz Ahsan(Hero for me),Raza Rabbani, Naseerullah Baber etc etc.
4) Due to this NRO PPP didnt resign from parliament when president’s election was commencing.You know PPP was only opposition party in parliament at that time and if PPP would have resigned as well then there would have been no opposition party present in national assembly and it would have been easy decision for supreme court that this election is not legitimate.What is purpose of obstaining.There was no benefit of obstaining election.
5) She came back and said she is ok with mush if mush leaves his beloved uniform.Then she goes to dubai and Nov 3 happens and she comes back and want to get as much as possible out of situation mush does not agree on that then she says uniform or not uniform mush is not accepted and our CJ is Iftikhar Ch(hero for me) and guess what SOB negropontae comes and here again mush is acceptable and what no slogan for restoration of judiciary what is going on.
6) My hero Aitazaz Ahsan is in house arrest and wants restoration of judiciary and guess what he gets no support from BB. BB is showing complete ignorance on Aitazaz’s situation i want to know why. After 9 march he is hero of most of Pakistanis and if BB have used his voice then PPP would have get even more appreciation througout the country. But why BB will want a person like Aitazaz to become such a hero that he will become a threat for BB’s beloved PMship one day so her ignorance is quite understandable.
7) Wanna hear some joke. “Hum is election main ahtajaji tor per shamil ho rahay hain” by BB.
All in all i am definitely sure with one thing that if judiciary is going to be restored then it can be before election.
Mark my word after election who ever comes into power he/she is never going to restored judiciary.All they will say is what ever happened was wrong but since it has happened so lets move on and try to ensure that it never happens again thats it.Mulla diesel has already said that past judges are history and rest will follow the suit as well.

thank for the article by Khalid Hasan, that is indeed very good news…at least a ray of hope that sections of the american civil society is not only becoming aware of, but is supporting the people of Pakistan on the most cruical issue, i.e., the restoration of judiciary. Only the American public can bring pressure on the American Govt. to tow the line.
