He has to defend himself anyway but I am worried about people amongst common man (about 15%) who try to justify him.Further in treying to justify him they try to confuse the issues. Like one of my friends(who is always pro any govt.whether Pakistan,Saudi or even Ireland)talking to me on gagging of media specially geo channel said to me “you know shahid Masud is not a good anchor,he is immature and very emotional”.This is called confusing the issues.Rather than commenting on the merits-if any ,on closure of channels he is talking about a personality.Similarly on one of the forums somebody wrote that in a country where 65% of the people are illiterate media should never be free. Look this statement in the context of Musharraf statement,’mAJORITY OF pAKISTAN PEOPLE LIVE IN RURAL AREAS AND THEY ARE EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH ALL MY RECENT STEPS” I dont know on what evidence Masharraf said so but then according to one of his lovers who does not like free media for these very people why not right of vote be taken away from all these illiterate people(might not be ignorant) and let all the decisions be taken by the civil society of urbanised literary people.Where will his Guru Musharraf stand?
