I believe that the sacrifices rendered by the lawyers and media men is historical.
The civil society is slowly but surely waking up. More and more people of conscience are joining the movement of restoration for Judiciary ( MRJ). I hope that these honest people with integrity launch a new justice party and give a slogan of ‘ justice for all’.
I can guarantee you that people will forget the slogan of roti, kapra, makan.
Civil society needs to be galvanized. AItzaz Ahsan et al, are under arrest and Jutice Wajeeh etc should be spearheading the movement at this point until AA et al are released.
The country has been raped repeatedly by the army generals. It can’y take any more form Mush who is still a dictator in gown. He is Hosni Mubarak of Pakistan. People should not vote for pro-musharaf parties like Q league, pppp or Maulana Deisel.
Nawaz Sharif is a flip flop too with a tarnished history but he can be accepted as a smaller of the two evils at this time. At least he is talking about the restoration of Judiciary. If I am crazy enough to leave the comfort of my bedroom and go for casting vote then I will cast for NS for the obvious reason.
Mush has not only destroyed Judiciary but has strengthened MQM which is Mafia. Altaf Hussain is a spokemen for Mush. Just watch for yourself in this video

can a sane man talk like this. He is completely out of mind and is crazy. For crying out loud, muhajirs are voting for him. They need to be sent back to india as well.

I appreciate the efforts put in by @dmin and I hope that this new feature will encourage those who want to become writers to use this as a platform.
I also hope that some people who have been writing extra-long comments will move to this blog. I would request @dmin to introduce some word limit for comments, especially now when there is a new place where people can publish their comments.

Some of us are stressing the need to understand Pakistan’s situation in a global context. The article at the following link does a good job of doing so. It analysis the impact of h GWOT - global war of terror - on several countries: Egypt, El Savador, Thailand, Philipines and Pakistan.It shows how the War on Terror is actually is war on democracy and for the global capitalists dictatorial regimes. The similarity of he plot - albeit with different characters is remarkable.
The main story is at
http://www.thenation.com/doc/20071231/forum_intro
The link for Pakistan is not working bu is accessible at:
http://www.thenation.com/doc/20071231/mufti
I think, it is important taht we read this report and discuss it so taht we acn think of our issues in global terms.

@dmin:
May I know your policy to publish blogs. More specifically will it matter if it goes against army, NS, BB or even lawyers
December 16th, 2007 at 4:09 pm
You can write against anyone except Nawaz Sharif and Imran Khan (just joking).
However, I would recommend to respect the opinion of majority of viewers here and don’t put something that would definitely start a hate war between members.

Assalam-o-Alaikum,
Admin,
You done a great job to introduce the best site for the political students in this critical period. Please introduced the e-mail transfer to the political leaders to communicate with the members and share the views through your site.
We dont know, our views ever read by the political leaders and tv anchors. My humble suggestion is to introduce a one to one communication in between these individuals. I hope it will bring the positive change in the political setup of Pakistan as we are living abroad and worried much much more .
I salute, those individuals who finally decided to not participate in the coming general election as a protest and hope to see other leaders to follow the steps of Imran Khan in near future not later than 31st December 2007.
Muhtarma Benazir Bhutto Sahiba and Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif , if ever show the courage to announce for the withdraw from the election as the head of two political leaders with entire political team ……. they can become the heroes.
I dont understand what is the use of playing the musical game for the chair of Prime Minister under the supervision of General (Retd.) Pervez Musharraf, when the judiciary is illegally suspended and locked.
The approved plan from the previous administration gone in drain after return of PPP leader Benazir Bhutto with the support of American Administration and PML(N) leader Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif with the support of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia which should be like as follows as a traica for next 05 years.
PERVEZ MUSHARRAF x PERVEZ KAYYANI x PERVEZ ELLAHI = P3
=====================================================
This time, change is required for the betterment of Pakistan. For that reason a joint move is needed, so every individual have to put the share for restoration of democracy ……….. rest of the things get settled later on Inshah Allah.
Allah Hafiz aur Pakistan Zindabad.
