A few changes have been made at PkPolitics.com.
- “Forums” are being replaced by “Discuss”
- Registration now available for “Comments”
- Central Database for both PkPolitics & Discuss
- Moderation will be very Little
- Your details will never be shared without your consent
[Forums can still be accessed at pkpolitics.com/forums]
I have launched a new place for discussions and it will be called “Discuss” instead of “Forums”, in order to have them both run in parallel for short time. The existing Forums will be available for few more weeks and then decommissioned, until when I am sure everyone would be comfortable with “Discuss”.
The main reason for creating a new system was to Integrate your login ids with the main site pkpolitics.com. Once you login on “Discuss”, you won’t have to type your Name, Email and Anti-Spam word before entering comments on pkpolitics and your comments will not be held for moderation if you have previously approved comments.
If you have any ongoing topics and discussions in “Forums”, then please create the same topic here at “Discuss” and leave a message in “Forums” for redirection to “Discuss”.
I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I wanted to import the existing discussions in the “Forums” to “Discuss”, but could not do that due to the new user database I want to build from scratch at pkpolitics.

I register myself, but there was no option to set the passwd on registration page. But it asks for passwd at time of login.
So where you set passwd?

You should receive an automatically generated password in your email. Once you login, you can change your password.

why cant i see names with comments .now we cant see who is saying what .

You can find the recent comments in the link ‘Archives’ on the main menu or http://pkpolitics.com/archives/
As someone pointed in the comments to include the site map for easy access to different sections. It would be even better to use a pop down menu or select menu for frequently used sections.

The search item on the top right of the Home page, when clicked should clear the text ‘Search this website…’ or should select all the text. Just an observation.
for the discuss forum, I registeres with the name ‘Tanweer Amjad’, it accepted and the username and password information was transmitted on my email. But now it is not accepting the username. May be it doesnot accept the space.
Whereas username and the name displayed could be different… any solution you can recommmend to this problem.
