The video speaks of the times of one dictatator, i hope someone makes a similar video of all 3 dictators and how they spread anarchy and brought Pakistan to where it is today.

The irony is that the children of these dictators are V VIP’s even after these dictators are gone, their families are royalties.

Musharaf inspite of what he has done is still adamant and wants to hold on to power.

I hope of a better pakistan, a pakistan free of dictators a pakistan free of exploitation, as one who does not hope has already lost.

    Kinnare,

Yes musharaf is worse tha previous dictators a few of the reasons being:

Ever since musharaf came to power, he has been defaming the state in the capacity of its head, in Pakistan and abroad. Selling to the whole world that Pakistanis are terrorists just to prolong his rule.

Imposition of emergency/martail law by him was a no confidence in his own governance as he is the head of state.

Musharaf has given us suicide bombings, anarchy and is personally responsible for destroying the judiciary, media and the hopes of an entire nation.

The performance of these generals started with the murder of Liaqat Ali Khan, Fatima Jinnah, Bhuttos. Victimistaion of Nawaz Sharif, Judiciary, Media, A Q Khan, Civil society and the list is endless.

Why do I always observe bias in these forums? Just be honest for a while; Musharraf did a lot wrong about several things including Judiciary situation, media ban etc? but why only musharraf or other dictators? why not NS and Benazir as well? they never allowed private news channels in the first place; what about the NS’s confrontation with Judiciary? his workers even assaulted the judges physically, and not to mention the magnitude of corruption that always boosted in the era of civilian governments. Before quoting ZAB go and ask a journalist how they were treated during his time and you will hear the most gross and heinous torture stories in the response.

-all those who were involved in Supreme court assault are sitting in Q-league of MUSH e.g. Tariq Aziz(his wife was MNA on Q-ticket), Munir , Shujaat (interior miniter)etc.

-Justice Sajjad has mentioned that Gen Kaeamat and Laghari were important characters in that supreme court episode. He had undone 13 amendment meansing reversal of 58-2b removal by parliment. 58-2b was done unaimously by parliment. still 11 of the 17 judges removed him on seniority issues.

-Najam sethi was arrested by NS but Mush favoured this guy at that time. This sethi has recently been named by Hamid Mir for conspiring against BB. Sethi’s boss salman tasir is caretaker minster these days. Pakistan times has been carrying pro mush stories like involvement of Baitullah Mehsud in BB murder which was denied by Senator Salih and Mehsud spokesman.

where as there can be problems in democracy but there is no danger to country and its people. see these ays May 12 and Dec 27, still you prefer Mush and his supporters.

Everyone talks about democracy but we always forget that even democracy has some prerequisites. Until and unless we fulfil those prerequisites even democracy would not be able to change the life of common man. I am extremely against dictatorship especially military dictatorship but are we really ready for democracy????? Do we understand what democracy really is?? In my opinion Pakistan was never ready for democracy and is still not. We need a Castro (not Ayub / Zia / Musharraf ).
