First Interview of Rehman Malik, within hours of BB’s Death:
- RM claims that his car was 4 feet away from BB’s car during incident and he also claims that he did not hear gunshots?
- Although being BB’s Chief Security Office (CSO), he did bother to call anyone in BB’s car [Naheed Khan, Amin Faheem, SP Major Imtiaz, Safdar Abbasi & 2 other persons]
- As per his understanding, BB was safe and this is what he told the Geo TV after the explosion.
- He says that they stopped at the Hospital and found that BB’s car was not coming. He took a U turn from there and found that BB’s car had already entered hospital and there was lots of crowd over there.
- He said that he was trying his best to get the custody of dead body As Soon As Possible from the Hospital. Why he wasn’t bothered about further investigation when he has been a Director General of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA)?

Rauf Klasra of The News claims that:
- Brigadier Cheema officially told on TV that BB was safe after confirming from CSO RM, who himself said the same on Geo TV
- As the tire of BB’s car got burst after the explosion, Major Imtiaz moved BB to Shery’s car after traveling a short distance
- RM went directly to Bilawal House in Islamabad and confined himself there until Zardari reached Islamabad from Dubai
- Babar Awan sitting next to RM says that they directly went to Bilawal House in Islamabad assuming that BB was okay and she was directly following their car.
- Once Babar found that BB did not reach Islamabad, Babar immediately rushed back towards Rawalpindi and RM did not accompany him to Rawalpindi.
- Babar’s statement (who was sitting next to RM) is in complete contradiction to RM’s claim that:
—> They returned to hospital from next U-Turn (as told to Iftikhar of Geo)
—> They stopped the car when they could not see lights of BB’s car anymore
Last but not least, the suspicious person with strange antics standing close to BB while she was addressing at Liaqat Baagh, was hired on special recommendation of Rehman Malik. This person, Khalid Shahinshah who was personal servant of BB, might have known about the explosion in the advance which could be the reason he rushed into the armored car before everyone else.
PPP sources have reported that the moment Benazir ended her address, this (servant) man was the first one to dive into her bullet proof Land Cruiser; an unusual change from past routine whilst he always boarded the vehicle after Benazir, often hanging by the external pedestals of her Cruiser, as was evident in videos.
One other household servant and Dr Safdar Abbassi got seated in the rear portion of the Cruiser, and when the suicide bomber blew himself apart, Khalid was also present in the Cruiser. Afterwards he (Khalid) went over to the Zardari House, Islamabad where he lived for two days, and did not visit Naudero despite Benazir’s death, making it there on third day. When informed about the video of his antics he promptly disappeared from the scene, over the excuse of his mother’s death.

According to a respectable journalist Ansar Abbasi: Rehman Malik has developed a good relationship with intelligence and army officers. Rehman Malik was entertaining them in London and now they return the favour and Rehman Malik is given special protocol. VIP cars directly go to plan and receive him. (this report was published in Jang/News after BB came to Pakistan).
He has connections with the intelligence/army officers. He is a business partner of BB. Many of these businesses might have been a secret between BB & Rehman Malik.
Rehman Malik was ’security advisor’ to BB. His statement does not show that he is really crying. He says that he cannot speak but then he has full control of his voice.
I don’t know what else to say…. he is in touch with agencies and he has some interest and he was in charge of BB security!!!

I think RM didnt really care whatever he was speaking to the host maybe due to the fresh accident but if he was in charge of the security then he should have noticed the exact information about car’s movement. however, this could be another strange thing that he couldn’t hear anything like firing. this could also lead that the shot was fired from some distant location through silencer weapon. although, i have seen a footage of the park location, where people were winding up their luggage and meanwhile in the background there were multiple sounds of blasts.

May be its another government scheme to create rifts between PPP. Well it makes sense! people like RM have switching loyalties based on prices paid.
Or it could be just gross incompetence. in Pakistani politics you don’t know who’s sold their souls for a few sheckles, but never also under-estimate the incompetence of the characters involved.
This is the biggest problem with choosing people based on clique membership or a non merit/experience based criteria. Just because the guy was head of FIA or whatever doesn’t necessarily mean he was good at “investigation” or “security”. It just may mean he was good at clawing his way to that position better than anyone else and he convinced everyone that he was good.
Now, if there was a proper vetting process in place (and that is no guarantee, but your chances get better) then people good at security would become heads of security, people good at driving would becming drivers and people good at leading would become leaders.
Also, why the hell is the security head in the front car? shouldn’t he be in the trailing car so he can keep an eye on what’s going on?
What also bothers me is that Zardari didn’t insist on an autopsy. I’m sure Zardari has seen and been involved with enough murders to know that establishing the cause of death is quite an important matter.
So are we going to start implicating Zardari as well? (since conspiracy theory is in the air)
The driver of Oct 18 blast has claimed at BBCURDU that there were no suiside bombing and instead some shooting and then two bombs, one was in white car and other in a police vehicle.
Has any one noticed a police jeep standing in one of the videos and the shooter did appear to come from same side. Also if you hear the sound in the video you hear 4 pitol shots. One of the bbc english tv clipping shows a man did found a bullet after the incident on the spot.
Rehman malik can be suspect as he has also beneficiary of NRO and he had been given extra protocol by govt. It is possible that he trapped BB into NRO and a deal with MUSH when may were against it. However it is strange that he went to ISB after the blasts. He shoudl be investigated by credible people not his suspected maasters.

the suiside bober was the same who shot 4 bullets and a Jiala tried to catch him and then he blew himself. The head showed by govt after the incident looks similar to the face who was shooting at BB. His pistol and the bullets (ledt safe in the pistol as only 4 were fired) can be useful.
It is possible that the other suspect who was hiding his face with chadar was a backup. If he was a backup then it is possible that he is still alive. The givt was in hurry to wash the scene in two hrs, why? Some otehr things which can be investigated can be looked into the rubble removed after the incident. It must be lying some where. lokk for things or remians of pistol or its parts, bullets, shoes, belt, galsses etc.
the man missing and suspected in above video can be looked after and investigayed along RM who hired him. althoug he looked like hinting a bad throat of BB to some one infront. but you never know.

Scotland yard is here in Pakistan to investigate the BB’s assassination, but Zardari does not want to allow this investigation.
As, I have been saying from the very begininning that Zardari is involved. Look who was the most beneficiary from the BB’s death? who is getting the life insurance? who is going to keep 1.5 billion looted from Pakistani people along with other undocumented corruption. Who got the leadership of PPP throught the fabricated WILL? I am 100% sure that Zardari is behind this.

Rehman Malik is more closer to Tariq Aziz than Asif Zardari. Rehman and Tariq were the main deal brokers between BB and Musharraf and are personal friends.
Zardari has been totally out of scene until BBs death. First Zardari was in jail for 7 or 8 years and then he was getting his medical treatment in NY until recently.

I am not a fan of Zardari and I honestly believe that he is a very corrupt person. But I would like to ask you that who ordered to hose down the crime scene with water? If Zardari is involved then he could not have done it without the blessing/backing of our establishment, the ISI and the army. I completely reject the SOB’s (Mush) argument that hosing down the crime scene was inefficiency. It was a criminal act and whoever ordered should be fully investigated as the destruction of the evidence alone was a criminal act.

2- Rose to head of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) during Benazir Bhutto’s second tenure.
3- Launched a secret war against religious elements in Pakistan, which resulted a direct attack on the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).
4- FIA made contacts with the Israeli secret service, the Mossad, to investigate terrorists during his service.
5- President Farooq Leghari after dismissing Benazir Bhutto on November 5, 1996 ordered the arrest of Rehman Malik, for unspecified corruption charges.
6- Malik claims to file a 200-page report to then President Rafiq Tarar, aginst large-scale corruption of Sharif family during the 2nd tenure of Nawaz.
7- November 1998, Rehman Malik accused Nawaz Sharif of his termination as act of retaliation. Fled to London.
8- July 2007, brokered Benazir-Musharraf NRO deal in Abu Dhabi as he replaced Makhdoom Amin Fahim as the most trusted political lieutenant of Benazir.
9- December 2007, chief security officer of Benazir. Many accusations were against Rehman Malik for relaxed security and his absence during Benazir assassination.

Just hours after the tragic death of BB, I was the first one to point out that BB’s personal guards and the people in her inner circle were careless and reckless to allow BB to exposed her self through that ill designed sun roof. That was a fatal mistake , which caused her to loose her precious life. BB had put too much trust in those incomptent personal security guards and her personal advisers. They were grossly negligent in their duty and must be made acountable and fully responsible for her tragic and premature death. I firmly believe that some one in her inner circle is involved in this tragic event. Every one in her inner circle including Rehman Malik, the fisy character, in particular. An other thing that worry me is that the crime scene was promptly cleared. There is sea of evidences that point to the involvement of both external and internal elements. Main goal was to dstablize Pakistan.

We will have many theories however, just want to point one more aspect. suicide attacker can be prepared in lesser time than the sharp shooter. the footage depicts the shooter as highly professional and expert; its no easy game to do so in situation like he did.
Moreover, if this is really done by some segment of agencies/army not happy with current policies then its alarming time to ruling agencies if they cant figure it out. historically, many coups were detected well in time so I am not going to buy this theory that secret segments can do these things in parallel and go unnoticed.

RM is a dubious character no doubt but even if we get hold of the mastermind the harm has been done and it cannot be undone. Even after 50 years do we know who killed Liaqat Ali Khan?
The fact that all of BB’s personal security ppl were Zardari’z Jail buddies makes me wonder what really happened. Mutazara’s murder in equally mysterious cicumstances is another highlight of Mr. Zardari’s resume not to mention countless corruption charges. Third Investigation Step; Who forced for immediate press conference in which senior surgon lied to the nation and international press and provided false information to mislead the assasination. Later on government spokeperson Brig (Retd.) Javed Cheema showed some photographs and X-Rays images of head injuries as well as pointing blake to some individuals without any prior investigation.
If these three steps were carried out by the schotland yard team, they will get the innitial picture to step forward in positive direction ….. which will lead to the powerfull hand who head this operation.
As far as two devoted PPP leaders said about the departure of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Sahiba, ( Shireen Rehman and Baber Awan ) the statements of Rehman Malik seems un-true or twisted statements given on three different occasion.

Few things done by the present government just after Benazir Bhutto Sahiba’s assasination which is un-accepted to any investigation team.
1. Washout the entire crime sceme.
2. Destroyed possible evidences.
3. Immedietly put responsibility of assasination without any inquiry.
4. Forced senior doctors, to give false statement to international press.
5. Government spokeperson started disinformation on tv statements.
6. No responsible government servant were suspended due to non provided
excellent security arrangement after this incidence.
It shows that establishment was trying to find out some possible way to eliminate Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Sahiba with the help and assistance of any person to whom any one ever doubt from the supporters and workers of PPP.
Rehman Malik, General (Retd.) Tauqir Zia and Khalid Shahanshah must be interviwed as a possible suspect if they really have linked with the present regime ……. PPP lost the presecious life of Benazir Bhutto in this critical situation when general election was very near to be polled. This is almost the same condition when Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Quaid-e-Awaam was assasinated by a dectator.
PPP is presently in a deep shock and sadness, after the BB’s chaliswah the internal inquiry team from the party will see all aspects of this assasination

Bilawal Bhutto is the best choice to lead the party. Makhdoom Amin Fahim and Asif Ali Zardari will be a good political educators for him in coming years.

Rehman Malik no doubt is a fishy charachter. He was a grade 16 employee of Protector of Immigration. He was considered as a good pay master to Gen Zia family in those days.
He being a very ambitious and clever person attached with Naheed Khan. Got entry in to PPP ranks. Got an appointment in the year 1989 through Ms Naheed Khan in FIA in grade 19
After removal Of BB government on 06th August 1990 he got himself attached with Nawaz Sharif and was given grade 20 by him./
After PPP came back in power he once again became their loyal and was decorated with grade 21 and a medal of performance. He being a very sharp, opppertunist and clever came close to Gen Naseer ullh Khan -Aasif Zardari-MBB.
He has being showing jugglery during the tenure of PPP government during 1993-96.
After BB was removed in November 1996 he again tried his best to come close to Establishment- Farooq Leghari and Nawaz Sharif. But they were awre about the activities of this man and necer axxepted him. He wanted to become approver aginst BB and Aasif Zardari but his tricks cou;ld not work and he had to leave the country.
He managed to have ajoint business with BB “FOOD FOR OIL PROGRAMME ” He left no stone unturned in defaming MBB in his personal meetings of friends,.
He became Chief Security Advisor to MBB inspite of the fact that he never ever had any traing, qualification or experience to have this portfolio.
He is a totally untrustworthy person and I wonder how he has become Security Advisor to Aasif Ali Zardari and his family.

A Fishy Character- Rehman Malik
First of all, we have to decide as a nation that we really need the Benazir Bhutto murder’s investigation and back ground player or key person who pass the assasination orders or just a formal file work to close the murder case.
If we really want the proper investigation then we have to start and cover all those aspects in which Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Sahiba was coming back to Pakistan after long forcefull exile faced due to a distator inpower from last 8-9 years who was against her political fame and ability as well as her popularity. So the most important thing is to keep in mind, that what was the written statement and will of Benazir Bhutto Sahiba and to whom she pointed out in case of her assasination.
If those names, which she mentioned in her letter pin point the people were in the establishment and still un-touched by the PPP present government which are in power from last six months it means that either that letter was a political statement or the present leadership does not want the real killers.
We lost a great muslim leader and a brave women in Liaqat Bagh Rawalpindi just because of poor security measures and violating the blue book instrutions, if she was provided the VVIP Security arrangements as it was announced by the ruling government of that time then the responsibility directly comes on the administration of Rawalpindi and two high powered individuals who were deputed by the consent of PPP leadership before the arrival of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Sahiba, that was Rehman Malik Security Advisor and Major (Retd.) Imtiaz SSP, Chief Security Officer of VVIP.
In my opinion, its useless to discuss this case after so long. People of Pakistan knows very well how the security arrangements was perposely left loose to enable the attackers to hit the required target from more than one options. And later left un-attended PPP Chairperson Benazir Bhutto Sahiba and ran from the point of target without securing crime scene.
