I don’t get these guys. If they think the elections are going to be rigged, then instead of proposing yet another delay why aren’t the focusing on getting more US/EU observers and Jimmy Carter’s team etc on the ground to monitor the elections?

Babar talked about 11 benchmarks, what the hell are those benchmarks? If one of them is the removal of the current caretaker government then why even bother? You can remove the current caretaker OR you can put considerable pressure on them via national and international channels so that the rigging is minimized.

I don’t think delaying the elections is the right strategy. I am not surprised by JI’s stance though, these people have been sodomizing Pakistan in the name of Islam since the day they changed their tune from being against the new state to being the best friends of the new state…

Every time the mole class needed support for the jurnails and fascists and usrupers of people’s power, JI was right there with the right set of obedient policies. If a tyrant wants to topple democracy, they’re there. If looters want to rob the people of their rights, they’re right there. If someone wants to delay the elelction and disenfranchise the people, well BISSMILLAAHH they’re RIGHT THERE!

That is very strange.Every party is so sure that elections will be rigged in a flaky manner. What if PPP comes in power will they still say elections were rigged, what is PML (N) comes forward. Now all these parties wich are pretending to be so united agianst the gov. they will apart after the elections.Same blame game on each other. They say they want neutral care taker gov. with the consensus of all opposition party. Is it really feasible that our politicians will be ever able to agree on the care taker gov.IF THEY ARE SO MUCH WORRIES ABOUT THE COUNTRY’S FUTURE THEN WE THESE APDM and APD SIT TOGETHER NOMINATE THE PERSON AND THEN FORWARD THEM TO THE GOV.I CAN BET THEY WONT BE ABLE TO PRODUCE ONE NAME WITH OUT ANY CONFLICT.TAHT IS WHAT PUR PLOITICIANS ARE………………….so sad

    Hi Admin,

Can you find out what these SMS are that Babar Awan was mentioning? Any ideas what were the controversial ads by PML(Q)?

I hope that these would be appropriate to post publically.

    Thanks

the cause of the whole problem is musharaf, imagine he is still arguing that pakistan is not a banana republic but on the other hand the care taker prime minister is chairman senate who supposed to be a interim president during the absence of so called president

but the interim president is the speaker of national assembly who by article 43 of constitution cant hold the president office as he is running for elections himself

i wonder ppl still arguing about the political parties not about the illegal president who is making the state a banana republic

Pakistanis’ arrest real or Musharraf’s plan to get attention (Mush’s ISI does train people and fool them, like they may have done in BB’s case). Or it may have been a false information to Spanish government.
