If 5 or more people write to a British MP, she/he is obliged to raise that issue in Parliament. More people write to them, better pressure would be on their Prime Minister (and as a result on Musharraf). If you would like to write online:
Please Attach a copy of CJ Iftikhar’s letter with your email. Write one or two paragraphs and send them to everyone. Even if we get a couple of MPs in our favour, government will be compelled to take action.
PS: Don’t worry about your status (student, visitor etc..). These things are irrelevant when we write about political situation to MPs (I know many people feel unnecessarily worried).
Perhaps all these people need some education in speaking in an honest, precise and clear cut fashion. These people are supposed to be Professors. If they are only capable of talking in abstract only and being affraid to tell the truth and the absolute BARE truth - I feel sorry for the students who are supposed to learn from them.
By the way we must give a standing ovation to our beloved President, Shortcut aziz, Cori sbs of gujrat, Mqm, sleeping buties ops I mean Generals of three forces, Q league…. and many more..that due to their love for the country their efforts, and hard work it has make it possible today for Pakistan to become a failed state. Gentlemen we could not have done it with out you all……
you absolutely a cynic, probably don’t understand the urdu well. I believe they all talk with the alot sense, raised issues like independent judicary, Media and sovereign parliment free from Washington and GHQ.
You need to open your eyes and ears to appreciate them, & plug off the IPOD.
I’m really looking forward to see the 2nd part of programme.
In the viewpoint from London, AAmir Ghauri very ably covered all matters raised by Musharrafs visit to Europe which we all know was aimed seeking support for himself (support which his own people have denied him) but ended up showing his true face by threatening streets of Europe. He seems to be so confident of himself that he will continue with his mis-rule of Pakistan come what may.
He had no hesitation in insulting (tauheen) the people of Pakistan by implying they dont deserve democracy and are best ruled thru his high-handedness and flouting the laws of the land
well the people of Pakistan must continue their struggle for “Rule of Law” and remove this man, come what may
what a crappy musharaf oriented program. the host is another clone of pj lotta.
if they cant speak truth (except some sentences for judiciary ) then they better off the screen.
