” GREAT DEBATE ON EDUCATION ” is the best subject choose to be discussed openly infront of public on GEO TV at this stage just before general election to get the view point of the leading political representatives of PPP, PML(N), MMA, MQM, PML(Q), ANP …… lots of people are thankful like me to pkpolitics.com who can get very good informatic talk shows on this web side for those who have no access on private tv channels while living abroad like GEO TV.
Once again thanks to GEO TV to organise excellent talk show and providing the opportunity to make easy for Pakistani public to decide and make decision before going to vote for the best political party working on the basic issues of Pakistani’s in the present conditions.
I personally found that, Ahsan Iqbal PML(N), Shahnaz Wazir Ali PPP and Syed Sardar Ahmed MQM brought good points in the discussions and they express the political party manifesto on education in the better way then other party representatives attended this talk show.
Lets start from basic requirements, from 1947 onwards our educational and health policy were never given importance in any were near to elocating defence budget in any political and military governments. Out of 60 years we have 36 years of period in Martial Law’s and Emergencies Plus.
It shows, how poorly this country was administered in an illegal way by few senior army general against the will of Pakistan on the power of uniform and gun and ruined the society time to time after crushing the elected goverments.
The elected government heads always have broblems with the senior army officers, to providing them huge pie of the national budget for fulfill their needs to take care of army, navy, airforce and intelligence egencies requirements. Some amount is justified for the need of services personnels but most of the amount is useless and go for army plots, housing colony, indipendent military hospitals in all over cantonment areas and misc projects which is a dead investments. So at any stage if they get denied by the political leaders, we always see a retaliation from them and the government were thrown out of power by force.
Still its not so late to rectify the problem, we have to avaluate our self for coming 15-20 years to built our nation keeping in mind we are living in 21st century. We need peace but not a war for ever. We are a nuclear country, we are strong enough to protect our country from any kind of aggrasion and forign invasion from any country. First of all, we have to build very good foreign relationship with our nabour countries like China, Afghanistan and Iran to protect three sides of our country and build confidence with India and make them realize that we will respect and never try to interfere each others matters.
Only then, it is possible for us as a nation to deduct the defence budget a huge amount and put into education sector to provide the equal opportunity to each and every kid the best education from border to border living in Pakistan. The standard must be the same which is the basic need of all kids either he or she is a son or a daughter of peon, clerk, general,doctor or a politicians till high school should be covered all expences by government.
I am living in Canada from last ten years, we have here same educational system in all over country border to border have option to choose either english language, french language and fifty fifty means half english half french makes bilingual students. Son and daughters of any person living in any small or a big cities irrespected of financial status getting same educational class. Not like in our country Grammer School, Beacon House, OPF, ICB, Federal Public School, Habib School, Cantonment Schools etc., etc. Here, any school board have same syllabus for every student ……… we have to copy some good things from Canada and brought to Pakistani education system ………. only islamiat we have to take it with full knowledge of grade wise keeping inview the requirement of Islam. The rest choosing like in Canada either education in urdu language, english language and fifty fifty means half urdu half english makes bilingual students. The parents should have the right to choose the best possible education system for their kids they like most till grade 12 means high school.
In Canada, we have municipal, provincial and federal governments take care of different important public issues and discussed openly infront of public on local halls or on tv channels which involve the general public to give suggestion to improve the system ……. so this is a good start for the better Pakistan.
I am a PPP supporter, but Ahsan Iqbal present his PML(N) plan better than all party representatives, it is a good sign to see anti musharraf coalation government PPP PML(N) in near future and make possible to reinstate Chief Justice Supreme Court and other 60 honourable judges as well as throw Pervez Musharraf in Rawalpindi Ghanda Nala where he belongs.
The issue is that Pakistani’s are smart enough to figure this out, but every 5 years we have FA Fail Jurnails rebooting the goddamned process at the behest of their foreign masters, and all of our officers corps from top to the bottom with very few exceptions watches it with ghunghuniyaaN in their mouths! This is because they know they will get a share of the loot.
How are you going to counter these jurnails, short of armed guerilla struggle in all major cities of pakistan? These people buy arms for one purpose. To protect THEIR interests against internal and external threats.. We are a fiefdom of these jurnails and that is the godawful truth!
if Pakistan breaks, half of these “patriots” will run off to their million dollar condos in Canada & US and Europe (yes.. this is the “defence money” you’ve been giving them — it goes to buy million dollar sedans, jets and personal property purchase in the west)
The other half will start commanding militias and become petty theieves and robbers controlling different areas. This is the future of Pakistan, Balkanization and Iraqization if a good number of these FOOLS are not executed for treason against the republic and the constitution of Pakistan.

Excellent show. But it really needs to tone the music and the dramatization. And some elaborations when the personality details are popping up would be useful.
I and I hope each patriot citizen of Pakistan appreciate that GEO team conducted a debate on this very important topic.
All participants gave good suggestions and I hope whoever gets a chance to govern will consider all those good suggestions and help Pakistan in the list of literate world.
I think Ahsan Iqbal is very intelligent person and on top of that a sincere, patriot Pakistani and a humble muslim. I hope same feelings get born for all the other speakers soon.
Rule of Law is however must before moving forward and Nawaz Sharif have made it clear that PML-N is committed for it. May Allah help him and all his supporters fulfill this noble promise to their nation as soon as they get chance to lead their nation.
wtf! half of that debate was introductions and music and overly dramatic lighting. actual debate was probably just 20% of the whole thing. geo needs to cut down on the dramaybazi ,give more time to the candidates to say what they want and let them question each other.
