Heard from a reliable source the action of rigging in Monas Illahi constituancy (which can be in all the cycle constituancies). Rupees 1500 paid for one ID card and the rest on the polling day the first voter goes in takes the ballot paper and without stamping puts it in the pocket and casts a blank paper inthe ballot. He comes out with a blank ballot gives it to the second person who puts the stamp on it (naturally on cycle) gives it to the voter and he goes in takes his ballot paper put the pre stamped ballot in the box and brings the empty ballot paper out gives it to who so ever is the rigging incharge gets his 1500 rupees and off he goes

so rigging is going on…im sure their votes will b cast by state machinery. not only my relatives but my relatives were telling me many sindhis were facing this problem in hyderabad.

I am getting SMS messages in bulk. Unprecedented rigging reports are pouring in from Gujrat, Gujranwala, Sheikhupura, Lahore, Jehlum, Attock and many many parts of the Punjab. Actually many polling stations being taken over by the armed people and ballot papers are being filled by them.
NA=98 and NA-99, Geo confirmed that firing and massive harrasement. Chaudhris have turned the whole Punjab to Ghunda Force. Massive rigging reports by even Geo from Gujrat and Sialkot.
This is all bullcrap. I have been watching GEO since elections started. They have correspondants in all constituencies, no reports of rigging. The only occurances are violences and blasts.
agree with you secular_ paksitan only problem is low turm out in punjab , actually for a third world country with illetrate population voilence is not a lot m mercifully.
Geo showed very low turnout in Lahore, even Punjab Chief Minister admitted it. But he refused to agree with the Geo reporter about the massive rigging reports from Punjab.

on BBC Abdul hai kakar reports that In Charsada NA-8 Aftab sherpao agents sneaks into polling station and are casting fake votes.presiding officer is helpless bcoz there is a threat for his life from armed fellows on the floor of the poling station.

major problem is that as a rigging factor, polling scehme has been planned to keep low turn out.
in Bannu, for same village, gents polling station is within the village BUT women polling station is 7 miles far form the village and u can well imagine, how many women of remote areas of banuu will go to cast vote in polling station 7 miles awa fom their home.
same is there in almost all pakistan..but it will affect the turnout badl for women voters in remote areas.
I wonder why there is such a low turn out? When there is so much “assistance” available at the polling stations. A friend of mine from Karachi had people escort him to and from the station, stayed with him till he cast his vote. He was going to vote for another party but had no option even didn’t get a chance to look at the choices available. One must ask what will we get from these elections?
well there is an attempt to reduce the casted votes going on.Half of my family were denied votes in NA55/56 as their name doesnt appear in the polling list whereas all of them casted votes in 2002.Its rediculous that they didnt allow my sister’s vote on the basis that they have different ID card no in the list whereas she was having original ID Card as well as Old ID card. I am just wondering whose ID card number has been entered. I m sure that somebody would definitly cast that vote in favour of sheikh after 5 o clock. what a shame q league..
just talked to candidates and they r reporting masseive rigging in some of rural area polling stations of the area, specially the areas under influence of Hamid nasir chatha where one sided polling is going on as they polling agents of other canddidates have been forced out of these polling stations.
expected turn out there is around 45% in rurak and above 50% in Rural areas
We ought to be cautious in our comments in general and specifically on this critical day. I am watching Geo News and the feedback (telephonic interviews by Kamran Khan) from various party leaders including Shehbaz Sharif (PML-N) and Afrasiyab Khan (ANP) is that the elections have been conducted in peaceful and fair manner. Shehbas Sharif did rightly mention the killing of PML-N workers yesterda but in general no massive rigging was mentioned, which is a good and positive sign. I hope the leaders have the courage to accept the results.

You are right about the comments, but the Ghunda Gardi showed by the Chaudhris was huge. More than 10 people have died only in Punjab. Geo is showing only the positive side, which is good for the general public since they watch mostly these channels but reports came that Ch. Shujaat and Ch. Parvaiz Elahi were even loosing in their strongholds but had registered thousands of fake votes for them. In Rawalpindi Sh. Rasheed used students of Madrassas and it was revealed that more than 300 votes were casted by the Madrasa but votes are not registered for Madrassas in the entire history of Pakistan. Public response was so much against Mush that I just called my friend in Islamabad and he told me that in his polling station PMLN got more than 400 votes, PPP around 150 but for PMLQ there were only 34 votes. Actually PMLN is sweeping Punjab and PPP is showing very strongly in Sind and South Punjab. Right now PMLQ is wiped out, but remember our history, Agencies still have the role to play.
My brother went to cast the vote and his vote was already casted here NA-125 and I was not on the voters list seems like after 2 elections they did not like my vote
Though PMLN and PPP are winning overwhelming right now but it is the patriotic people of Pakistan who voted for them, Chaudhris tried their best, each constituency in Gujrat has more than 25000 bogus votes registered. Ch. Wajahat used his Wajahat force in his constituency to rig. Actually Ch. Shujaat Hussain was losing with a big margin though he used more than 20000 bogus votes. I called one of the close friend of Ch. Ahmed Mukhtar and he told that the Ghunda Gardi of Chaudhris is still going on although Ch. Shujaat is a sure looser. They are fearing massive show of firing by the ghundas of Chaudhris.

I live in Gulistan-e-Johar and the polling station. We went to the polling station to cast our vote at around 3 pm and we were surprised to see the transparent rigging…..
There was only the MQM agents that were present there and none of the PPP or any other party for that matter had their representatives there. The rigging took place so obviously and clearly that I felt out of place.
14 year old kids were casting votes .. my niece was told to cast one.. not only that on my joke to a female polling assistant that if i can cast more votes she said.. that one can but only to the winning party…but in the light of clear conscious I refused.
Not only that one’s NIC is not being checked and even while stamping there is always someone that is present on your head looking over your shoulder..
Where are the agents of other parties.. where are the foreign representatives … where is any authority???

Turn out is very very low throughout country. Just little more than 4 hours are left but till now less than 10 percent have casted their vote.
