I think he is right to say that next govt. will be in trouble . media will be big factor. they are use to PTV but things has changed in pakistan now.

Why do Sh. Rashid and others keep saying yesterday’s opposition is in for a big surprise with the media.. why do the tend to forget that the parties going to get power have been in opposition and full participants in the media surge.

I would tend to argue that opposition groups especially PPP, PML-N etc have actually gotten better at spinning the media because they were there, tete a tete, with the govt. and they know the nature of the media, the anchors, the disinformation and the spin techniques to mold the story their. I’m not saying they’ll be successful all the time though.

I don’t think the coming setup is as bereft of “new media” savvy as Sh. Rashid etc are making it out to be…

look at this shameless bast*rd. “lal masjid ka tarka laga hamain”. instead of feeling ashamed he is making jokes about one of the biggest tragedies and worst massacres in history, which this clown had a share in as well. good riddance to these shameless nobodies.

this was all part of the plan. did you think Musharraf will leave his fate in the hands of the people of Pakistan? ditching PML-Q for PPP was part of the plan, so was the murder of Benazir. you can make a morally corrupt man do whatever you want, as long as you can pull his strings. thats why Benazir was replaced by Zardari, she was too smart to fall for these games and would have made problems for Mush by joining with Nawaz, thats what Mush said in the interview with Jemima as well. and the artificial Atta and gas crises also point to the same direction of intentionally making Q lose, but not doing it in a way so as to make them turn against Mush.

Nawaz doesn’t look too happy in his meeting with Qazi Hussain Ahmad on Feb 25th.. somehting’s cooking.

I think it was the second interview of Sheikh Rasheed after elections. There cant be two opinions abt the fallacy of his arguments. He was a big supporter of the dictator now he cant turn back. I am really concerned about what he is saying about PPP siding with Musharraf. Although I dont like this guy but i cant agree less with what he said about our poiliticans specially PPP’s. As it is clear from the recent developments, I think PPP has decided to dump the verdict of Pakistanis and they are gonna work with Dictator. Feeling dejected

Mr Sheikh Rasheed is a great looser, who has lost not only his seat and vote but senses also. It’s a great loss, if these things were existed in his life. We r proud of our honorable former Minister’s language who was representing us all over the world through media. He said that “Log inn ko (PPP/ PML-N) ko jotian marey gay”. It could be happened becoz Sheikh Sahib has a good and rich experience in this regard recently so nobody can challenge him.

Mr Abbasi! Good job done as usual. Now we r desperately waiting for our great heroes of the nation like Muhammad Ali Durrani, Khurshid Qasoori, Ch. Pervaiz Elahi , etc. Nation is eager for their “words of wisdom”
