News is that Zardari doesn't want Pre-Nov3rd Judidiary back as PPP believes they are pro-Sharif.

Other news is that main topic between Western ambassadors in the meetings with NS and AZ is judiciary!!!

"i have seen GEO is mostly pro india pro america and pro MQM i dont know whether u agree or not but i have seen many thigns that shows that GEO is propogating indian culture using there songs in advertisement, showing movie clips, IFA awards BOlly wood awards, nd many things like dat ."

I have to agree with Salman Zafar, Geo TV has become a money making machine. Apart of their few shows, Capital Talk, Mere Mutabiq, rest of them are all garbage. Geo appears to be the channel targeting for one particular city people and have biased coverage.

I have seen some of the Nadia Khan shows on youtube ( because of the cricket related topics) and that women is crazy and have no clue how to be a host of the show. All she does is just show off her clothes, styles, make up and above all, dont let the guest to talk and interfere mostly to get attention.

@Saqib and Taban Khamosh

Totally agree!!!

@Salman Zafar
I partly agree with your statements! but the reality is that people want to see those non-sense dramas. Tv programs have definitely changed and now there are variety of channels, most are them are junk I think since I watch only sports and political shows. So as people above me have mentioned, it's up to you whether to watch a program or not!

nice programm

it was good to hear about his highness Shaikh Rashid, i totaly agree with Nusrat, no matter how much service he rendered to Pindi but in the end he is just a person who knows how to stay alive in news. nothing else, plus his analysis are all crap, tell me one prophecy he made came true, his political views are no more different than a common man. and TV channels calls him just because of his exciting but baseless news.

@ redux

Agree with your response to brother Salman Zafar

@Salman Zafar

You are entitled to your own opinions but please reflect on what @redux is telling you in his response. I don't want to sound rude to you but please "Get a Life"

In a magazine article I read recently, Pakistan was referred to as a unique country where men walked around holding hands and goats wore bras. I thought that was funny where as you might think it blasphemous. The point is that same evil and bad things you see while living outside Pakistan exist in Pakistan as well. I don't need to name them but you know what I mean. Pakistan's are human beings too. It is just that you have to have the courage to admit it, be positive and move on.

Sorry for my rant and I apologize in advance if I have offended anyone.

I don't think you are going to like what's coming...

The reason that dramas on geo look like cheap imitations of Starplus dramas, is well, because they are, and people want to see it (my mother is glued to the TV every evening watching this stuff, I think this scene is going on in every other home in Pakistan, I might not like it but that's the truth, and it will be this way until local directors come up with something more palatable). programs like hum sab umeed say hain and 4 man show exist because they have viewership, if you don't like what you see just flip the channel, I watch sports and politics, my brother like documentaries and my mother likes Starplus (poor thing, but she's quite happy watching it, who am I to say anything).

I don't think media should behave like some sort of morality brigade, let people decide what they want to see and what they don't, if Nadia khan or The Musik offend people's sensibilities so much they'll lose viewership, people will move on, justice served, don't try to shepherd people like cattle (mush learnt this the hard way, but some people are just slow learners).

you sound just like the kind of people who banned all the news channel and now Youtube, that content is STILL THERE and people are STILL WATCHING, even if pakistan isn't. Shutting your eyes to reality won't change anything, media only reflects our reality, don't break the mirror if you don't like what you see. Try doing something about it (and i'm not suggesting Jihad or anything of the sort, do something sensible and helpful) if it bothers you so much.

sometimes I think there is a dictator (or mini-hitler as I think imran khan called it) hiding in all of us, please let us crush it the second we realise it's there.

This suicide attack was a reaction of the yesterday's statements made by PPP, specially Makhdoom Amin Fahim. For as long as Musharraf remains visible people of Pakistan cannot feel safe.

Musharraf is still the most powerful man in our country. This man has ruined pakistan. His latest statements include that pakistan must rely on US for its progress. When one says anything against musharraf and on facts the MQM people bring ethnicity into play by saying that he is from karachi that is why he is not acceptable. Pakistan, u are really in hot waters, but then again there is always a way.
