I don’t think the anchors were allowed back (or that whole aaj episode would not have happened), Q league is out and the media can feel mush’s days are numbered, or at the very least he has no power, the army doesn’t want anything to do with him and he is faced with a very unfriendly parliament, if mush had any sense or dignity (but then why would he?) he’d leave, maybe being kicked out is more to his liking.

@redux; I wouldn’t be surprised if Rashid Qureshi is personally calling PEMRA and PTA etc to have these transmissions blocked.

In an ideal situation, there would be a mass hanging of all these criminals… but unfortunately our legal system isn’t there yet.

I completely Agree with you. They’ve been allowed back to absolutely rip the new leadership apart & there’s one thing which goes in favor of Q league, They have learned a lot in these last 5 years from our Media and the new leadership will face mind boggling new era…. they are absolutely not used to the criticism whenever they were in power, being criticized in the opposition is a different game.

I wish Q-League people publicly accept their mistakes and raise their voice against Musharraf. and voice in favor of ‘Rule of Law’…. then there would be no need to conduct so called ‘transparent voting’ for president in the parliament. Voting can be simple as raising the hands not stamping behind the scene like a coward. This act of Q-Leaguer may create a soft corner in the hearts of puplic. However, Q-League have committed so many crimes that they are scared that this act will result in their mass hangings.

When Musharaf attacked the judiciary and media, all the channels were blocked in Pakistan. But later most of them made a deal and came back except Geo and Aaj TV. Later both of them were allowed to come back but had to made the deal with Musharaf not to air Hamid Mir, Shahid Masood, Hum sab Umeed Sey Hain, Talat Hussain, Bolta Pakistan.

And now almost all of the anchors and shows have come back ( except Shahid Masood, who will be back day or two before Musharaf’s departure). All these are signs that Musharaf is a toothless lion and Kiyani has taken the control on major decisions and it is just a matter of days when the whole nation will hear 2nd independence news.
