@Ali Rizvi: I know, I was just being dramatic! Also, it is still wrong. The proper usage is: “The proof is in the pudding”. He’s a minister of something or other, at least use the saying properly. Plus I hate him.

PML-Q == CROOKS who engineered NRO to blackmail PPPP
PPPP == Yet to be born (abortion by CROOKS is a possibility)
PML-N == Group of mature, patriot, firm people who had been massively victimized due to their principle stand on various issues from ‘nuclear explosions’ to ‘rule of law/restoration of judiciary’
And Mr. Faisal Saleh Hayat, please use ‘the proof of the pudding is in its eating’ —- but better is to use urdu saying/proverb so that most of pakistanis understand it what you are trying to say…..
“PML-N == Group of mature, patriot, firm people who had been massively victimized due to their principle stand on various issues from ‘nuclear explosions’ to ‘rule of law/restoration of judiciary’”
Aren’t we getting a bit carried away? I mean.. most of the ML people are either old guard feudals or new money types with very — VERY few mainstream run of the mills middle class or professional class pakistani’s (I hate to use “middle class” as it is a term and codeword which has been appropriated by MQM - most likely a fascist and violent group)
I can see it in NS and SS statements and actions, but the future course of even PML-N remains to be seen. Though I prefer NS’s firm stance on the judiciary issue and his conduct so far. I’m on record to vote for him next election if he continues to convert his rhetoric into concrete policies without regressing into the patterns and behaviours of the past.
I don’t think anyone in Pakistan has a clean slate including the judiciary, but we have to shape these leaders into honest brokers of our future through constant vigilance and tight scrutiny of their conduct.
@tabankahmosh
pmln= group of sincere but immature people and leaders who take only decission on may 1999 anybody could take decission.before 1997 these people were playboys of political army of pakistan.now they stood against this political army who only give soil of country like kargil,siachin and east pakistan but take nothing only rule on poor people of pakistan.ns is now against this political role but he is underestimating their role in politics .
pppp=group of sincere and mature people who r not only talking but practically gave lives for democracy.their leaders gave lives and ordinary workers also.pppp gave us atom,missile,weapon factories everything.but nobody excepted it because of establishment propeganda
Seems PPP is actively working on Pre-3rd November Judiciary restoration but would like to keep LHC traitor Ahsan Bhon and Dogar. They also want to send Iftikhar Chaudhry on leave.
HAMID MIR should have asked hashmi about anything practical if they have done for judiciary. pppp is not crying out loud like pmln on tv but is doing practical things for judiciary. for eg they have already submitted a bill for restoration of judiciary in senate.
Bolta Pakistan was aired on Feb 29th just a bit late due to breaking news regarding the terrible bombing attack in Swat. Live with Talat was aired too.
about restoration of judges thier is very simple thing to understand who is sincerely want to sove this issue and who is only trying to make it just issue for wah wah in public.we have to see who efffected most frm slave judges off course pppp leadership.we should not blame that they doont want to sove this issue.
when i see my country’s people making comments on this website i really get depressed as almost all of them lack vision and do not understand what media and politicians are trying to cook,
people praise anchors,adopt there lines most of the times and not using there brains at all,may be lack of knowledge or lack of vision,pml(n) since the election saying continously that they want restoration of judiciary,everyone wants restoration of judiciary,who is stopping them for doing that,but there should be means to restore them,its not like one fine morning you wake up and they are restored,its not like that,there should be some procedures,pml(n) keep on saying that they can be restored by the executive order,who’s gonna make those orders,PM,okay,who is the PM,even the members have not been notified yet,i am sick of pml(n)
@rashbash987
Its coz 4 U restoration of judiciary isn’t the priorirty.
But thing is PML-N got votes on this basis.NS never said that he might think of having working relations with Mush and he may give 2nd thought to judiciary crisis.NS has emerged as 2nd largest party leader out of nowhere( remember people saying that PML-N cant find candidates to feild).
About Ur saying that NS keeps saying that they can be restored by the executive order, THis is not his version, this is the version of AITEZAZ AHSAN who is member of CEC of PPP-P.
to speak to the column linked to by @rasheed, I think the issue is the restoration of the judiciary to pre nov3 because ALL actions taken by General Musharraf are Illegal. We should worry more about saving institutions and rule of law than saving Mushie’s buggered face.
I still think we should restore the judiciary WITHOUT ANY precondition as per the emergency suo-moto supreme court session which declared emergency ILLEGAL and VOID, and called on all government officials including corps commanders (especially the badbaKHt 111 brigade)
All they need is a couple people with the conviction and the Army will stay back. There is NO WAY they’re going to get involved in this mess. Times like these I wish IK and AA had fought the election so AZ could be pressured to bring these people to PM ship, do the deed and then start the business as usual..
I am starting to get a feeling that Hamid Gul maybe right about 2009 after all.
adeel ayub@for God sake leave alone the logics given by NS or AA,they will say things which are not reality,i know people have given vote to NS for the restoration of judges but i started my discussion that people of pakistan are not visionary and NS’s politics is always based on deception and lies,he gives out sugar coted pills,he lies always,people think that he has changed,thats why he is supporting lotacracy,we should be clear that he wants to restore ex CJ even if none of other judges are restored,reason being there is something between him and CJ,loads of people know that,
@rashbash987: I’m too tired to have another p!$$ing match today, but suffice it to say that the last two posts by your royal highness leave a lot to be desired in the “visionary” department. Not to mention the “Formatting and Legibility department”.
i think you are right politicians should not promote lotacracy. but the fact of the matter is we dont have a single sincere political leader who would not do this. NS has a good chance to set a standard here lets see what decision he takes.
Why Altaf Husain is leadin MQM party from London, rather than returning to Pakistan? He is Lota-ay-Azam of Mush and i believe he should not have any difficulty returninig to Pakistan, Unless he might have comitted a crime of high treason in the past.
Can some one shed some light in this matter. I applogise for being ignorant and very naieve in this matter.
