40 Killed in Swat Funeral

SWAT: At least 40 persons were killed in a blast that ripped through in a funeral procession of DSP Javed Iqbal in in Swat area of Mingora on Friday evening. DSP city police confirmed the deaths of 40 people.

Earlier today, DSP Javed Iqbal was killed along with three policemen in a remote-controlled bomb attack in district Lakki Marwat of Frontier on Friday.

    this is another painful event. I just wander that this incident is not first of its kind then WHY the Pakistan security agencies did not use the funeral as a trap for those extremist ( most probably they are the same/similar people who killed DSP Javed Iqbal) and to trace them back to the big players.
    Is it lack of professional expertise or is it professional dishonesty?

    according to some ex pakistani miltarymen these attacks are the result of indian intelligence invovement in afghanistan and pakistani adjoining areas.they want to destabilise pakistan .that’s why they have oppened a large number of consulates all over afghanistan.
    i think pakistan has been very unfortunate regarding the kind of neighbours it has.
