This Ghulam Ahmed Bilaur may not have the clarity of speech but he cirtainly has a sharp witt and clarity of mind. These MQM ghunday cant seem to contain thier rage that they have pulled of the biggest ellection rigging in the histry of Pakistan but it wont be any use because no one wants them. Parties that take a hardline against MQM will benifit from increased support in Karrachi because people of karrach are sick to death of these thugs.
PPP should not take a soft line with MQM otherwise it will not only lose vote bank to iltaf bayee but also to ANP any other Party that takes rubst stance on principle.

If you have noticed that Musharaf is playing a double card by clearing Asif Zardari’s corruption cases. On one hand he is making Zardari happy and on the other hand he is sending the signal to PMLN and other opposition that Zardari has made the deal with us as well he is antagonizing the people of Pakistan that Zardari is begairat, because all he care is about his cases.

maybe wishfui thinking on my part, but it would be poetic justice. And as far as I’m concerned. Zardari has done his time. If a single jurnail who looted this country with both hands gets half as many years as Zardari, I would call it even.

Zardari’s ALLEGED corruption is peanuts when we compare that with Mush’s PROVEN corruption (loans and ‘forgiving’ corruption etc etc)
I , for one am glad that MQM people are continuing to trumpet the same tune (for Musharraf) and against the Chief Justice. This will make sure that they will sink in the next election. Poetic justice would be if they get the treatment that PML-Q got. But as someone has said they are a Mafia like organisation and they can only be thrown out if the people of Karachi get up and throw them out. For that to happen- the other parties will have to show that they will guard the interests of the so-called Mohajirs. I say that because it is 60 years since 1947 and they are still Moahjirs !
It is because they have become another ethnic tribal group same as the Sindhis , Pushtoons, Punjabis etc etc.
But let MQM sing the same song and let us see where this takes them. They might just sink with Musharraf or will they change their tune after Musharraf is gone. Or do they know something we do not -meaning that Musharraf is upto something again ?
