I hope this event finally can open the eyes of those people who still are living in the past. They must understand that Pakistan and its citizens has changed. Pakistanis will no longer tolerate further chaos. We want peace, justice and prosperity for the poor masses. No more interference from the military mafia and establishment.
I request everyone to be a part of this event…Please!

I would request everyone to show solidarity with the lawyers and their cause. Its not only the cause of these black suit wearers but its the duty of every Pakistani to have a black flag week.
I personally will wear black arm band here in UK as well while going to hospital and I am not alone, my other doctor friends would do the same.
Say No to dictatorship!

I’m confused!!! why:
1) PPP till this day did not want to bring back CJ Chaudhry because Zardari feared that NRO will be shot down by hm. Why all of sudden Zardari decided to side with old judiciary???
2) What is the guarantee that PPP will not repeat what they did last year:
obstain from voting in favor of restoring judiciary? Remember they obstain from voting in favor of Mush thus helping Mush re-elect for the 3rd term. They could have resigned from assebmlies and they did not….
This new agreement between N and PPP looks good on the surface but not sure what’ll happen beneath the skin. What’ll Musharraf do now!!

I just want to thank WAQT TV channel for being the only channel to not only fly the black flag on screen but they have been doing it continuously.

Civil society’s responsibility is to make sure that those elected in these lections do not rake the nation for a ride yet once again. I have serous reservations about PPP because of its top tier with BB marhoom being its archetype. Dime of a difference between them and Musharraf.
Make sure fellow denizens they don’t try to spin the issues around. Like in Iraq the war for the WMDs suddenly became war for Iraqi freedom and then war on Islamists, to war between civilizations and now its just a war on for to save the world from biblical Armageddon.
Make sure that these elected government servants remain very clear on why they were elected. They do have a tendency to forget. As we saw mere days after the elections.
The reformation is just starting.

<iRepeating the post here from the Talat topic
Cheap Bast*rd Khosa, Aitzaz in war of words
Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) President Aitzaz Ahsan and a vast majority of lawyers wanted reinstatement of superior courts judges deposed under the Nov 3 Provisional Constitution Order (PCO) immediately through an executive order of the prime minister or interior minister or a parliamentary resolution while Khosa and some other lawyers wanted the restoration of the deposed judges through an amendment to the Constitution with a two-thirds majority.
Talking to reporters here on Sunday before the Murree Declaration, Khosa, who is also a member of the Pakistan Bar Council (PBC), criticised Aitzaz for giving a call to observe black flag week from March 9 to March 16, questioning whether he had left Islam by resorting to “black agitation” on the auspicious occasion of the birth of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him).
On the other hand, Aitzaz responded harshly to Khosa

I was there at the first day rally of Black flag week. The speech of Bushra Aitzaz and that of Justice Ramday is available at http://ale-xpressed.blogspot.com/.
Their stance was quite clear.
