Talat has such a great grip on any subject he picks up for discussion. He commands the guests on the subject…avoids subject detracking and cheap argument/conflict development.

He is the Best Guy on the scene.

    Thanks Admin.

    Long Live Pkpolitics.

Talat was quite boorish and I do not like the way they ahve started pre-judging the government even before they have started the job. They should be given some time.

Nusrat was the sanest voice of all. Naseem Zehra disappointed with her analysis on Gillani being a stopgap PM. The analysis was not based on,logic but on gutt feeling.

The worse thing is the treatment of Makhdoom Amin Fahim by both media and PPP. PPP should publicly appologize to the veteran leader for treating him like a tissue paper. This was mishandled and still is being mishandled. If Zardari can talk to the Don of London, then he should surely talk with Amin Fahim.

I don’t want to sound like a pessimisist, but surely all this is going to be overshadowed by the real issues that will arise in Parliament once NS and his cronies start to push for what THEY want, rather than what the public NEEDS.

I have not been a huge fan of Pakistani politics and nothing i have seen lately will change my mind- we have all seen it before- empty promises followed by more empty promises… Can someone please tell me if they REALLY believe that any of these politicians give a monkey’s about the poor people of our beautiful country???

In the end, as we have seen in the PM leadership farce within the PPP, ( or is it PPPP?) most of thes highly ambitious and SELFISH people only care about one’s self and will blame others ( already started) once they ultimately fail to deliver on their promises.

I pray that my assessment is proven wrong and our country flourishes and the average poor man on the street can at least feed his family..

    But i won’t be holding my breath…..

following e-mail has been sent to Aaj TV

    @ Talat Hussain

Special episode of Live with Talat with Ghamdi

Read my post carefully because here is a challenge.

Allhamdulillah thummah Alhamdulillah. I have the ability to bring All of the other Scholars this Ghamidy is saying are not willing to talk to him on Talat’s programme if he is willing to host them.

I make this challenge with full responsibility and promise that I can deliver what I said.

It was very unprofessional of Talat to invite Ghamidy and not invite those who might oppose his views.

So if Aaj TV has any substance, then accept my proposal and, inshallah within a month I will have the Ulema on Talats show. However Ghamidy raises Issues that require detailed answers for those who have no religious knowledge so it would only be appropriate for Aaj to host a series of shows so that his concerns can be addressed accordingly.

If you do not want to oblige yourself to this challenge then do not host one side shows of people like Ghamidy who have a very questionable agenda and do not have the majority of the public behind them.

    Mr Javed Ghamidy

Recently, you were seen on Aaj TV with Talat Hussain. Where you promoted your unfounded beliefs and claimed that the Ulamaye Haq are not willing to have dialogue with you. I Challenge to bring the afore mentioned Ulama in a debate with you on Aaj TV if they are willing to host a series of programmes where you can put forward your views and present your argument. If Aaj are not willing to host I am hope full that some other TV satation will accommodate this debate.

I will initiate the process once you have accepted my proposal.

religion is a very serious and sensitive issue …
u have to be consious and resposible enough to make these kind of statements and through these kinds of challenges at a public forum.

    @Beenai
I appreciate and thank you for your concern. This is precisely what I have been arguing on this forum. A lot of people here think that deen is Just a joke. That anyone can come along and interpret any thing the way they like it or the way it suits them. Obviously, if this was the case Allah would have not bothered with messengers and would have just sent the books through a postal service.

What I have been telling these people is that just like a barber cannot go and perform brain surgery or just like a doctor cannot ask the opinion of his patient on a scientific paper of a science journal, you can’t expect a person of no suitable religious knowledge and qualification to give judgment on which religious doctrine is right and which is wrong, especially, without reading across the broad spectrum of different qualified opinions. But some people here find it disturbing that the worldly sciences should be guarded and should have set standards for professionals but it is only Allah’s deen that is worthless and needs no Qualification before you open your mouth.

As I said I appreciate your concern, But Alhamdulillah, I cannot thank Allah enough that he gave me the opportunity to understand deen from the Ulamaye Haq and then the opportunity to question it as well.
