OOH maaan.
Faisal Saleh Hayat makes strange airy noises when he ends a sentence—and thats really really annoying.
March 26th, 2008 at 4:45 pm
Faisal Saleh Hayat, epitomizes the clueless-ness of moshe’s “team”.

kamran abbasi gets a bit pushy sometimes… its better to let others talk and just be a facilitator
March 26th, 2008 at 5:30 pm
@salmanahmed
you dont even know his name right and you are commenting about him being pushy. you need to pay attention to the program and especially your surrounding.
March 26th, 2008 at 5:36 pm
Kashif Abbassi ’s style is the best —
he asks straight questions and when he doesnt get a straight answer he either asks the same qst in a different manner or asks another qst.
This makes him unique (some may call it pushy) amongst many other anchors as he keeps the guests on track….rather than let them tell ’stories’ instead of answering the qst…. which they have really come for!!
March 26th, 2008 at 5:53 pm
Talat Hussian and Kashif Abbasi are by far the best anchors and I would go as far as to ask foreign anchors to learn a thing or two from them. What make them transcend all is the odds and the environment they ask these “pushy” or aptly put, honest, to the point questions.
March 26th, 2008 at 9:40 pm
thats his style and also there is only half an hour to complete the show, and I don’t mind at all if he does that with pml-q or mqm people!
this pml-q should’ve been history by now, i dont know how they will win in the future with pervez elahi being the party president, mush end day is near!

Quality of this program is not according to the standard….but program is really nice

@Salmanahmed
A sincere advice for u that whenever u r going to criticize to anyone, plz complete ur homework/back end preparation. If u doesn
March 27th, 2008 at 7:48 am
i know ill get flak for this but i think kashif abbasi is a better anchor than talat. he tries to get the answer out of people rather than them going in round in circles which pmlq mqm and ppp people are very good at.

@traffic
i concur with traffic. he is too the point and dont let the guests get out of the question easily

F.S.H lives in 25 years old history,
He does not know nothing about new realities as his boss mush.
US owes trillions of dollors to china in todays date.
bush was a disaster for usa and mush for pakistan.

FSH is the biggest lota, dont know why he gets invited.
March 27th, 2008 at 2:13 pm
Dont know why FSH keeps supporting Musharraf. Shame on him.
Look around FSH. Now power, no atta, food inflation.
Shame. shame shame.
March 27th, 2008 at 3:02 pm
FSH is trying to Scare people again. The Superpower is being defeated by poor shoeless pashthun in Afghanistan.
Shame on FSH again.
March 27th, 2008 at 3:04 pm
Well done Sec. sahib.
We only fear the all mighty.
March 27th, 2008 at 10:09 pm
I agree with the points raised by Tanveer Ahmed and Ahsan Iqbal.
It seems that FSH is stil lin a state of denial like the rest of Q team. I fail to see how these people can show their faces on media anymore…. If I was in their place I would have dug my own grave and hide in it for the rest of my life… from shame !
btw Kashif is an excellent facilitator and asks very direct questions like Talat… and you can sense the qaumi dard he feels
March 27th, 2008 at 11:37 pm
if faisal saleh hayat thinks that paki army is that much khali haat and still using r1, r2 guns then why dont the military ends their organization and declares themselves neutral or some veto/ baighairat like japanese. musharaf kutta tau 8 saal yeh kehta raha hai kai we have started selling and exporting hardwares..daikhain jee kashkol torr diya hai….taraqeeeeeeeeeee ehh….
March 27th, 2008 at 11:50 pm
Kashif is no doubt the best anchor…straight on his point..yes or no!
March 27th, 2008 at 11:58 pm
Mush and the likes of him ruined the army. There was a time when army was respected in the country. I was not born but I am told the stories of 1965. And look now….
THey are nothing but bunch of cowards. I might start gettting the reputation of a conspiracy theorist with comments such as below … lol
I believe “Mushtaq Minhas” when he says “Afghanistan Bahana hai, Pakistan Nishana hai”. One thing they got out of this war on terror BS is a very weak Pakistani army who only takes pride in bombing women schools in capital city and selling countries people for money…. God I sooo wish these missing person case and Lal MAsjid case is taken up by a free and independent Judiciary. I wanna see some responsible people punished… and punished real good…..
No “Maafi”… no “jo ho gia so ho gia”….enough is enough… need punishment and JUSTICE !

Tnaveer Ahmad Khan got it right .. World is changing.Russia has secured itself economically and are emerging again, China and Iran..We have the opportunity to connect to these states sooner than later and things will be different IA.

^
you took it completly wrong. he said musharaf dehshutgurd told lies about patharon ka daurr. he said he confirmed it from various people. waisay bhi musharaf jhoot bolnay mai master hai…remember all those lies he provoked about nawaz. and ofcourse the emergency era.
March 28th, 2008 at 2:06 am
Faisel Saleh Hayat is a buffoon talking nonsense. He had no response to Secty Tanvir’s analysis. And Ahsan Iqbal is on another wavelength. Amazing that Faisel Hayat was re-elected to the NA. Perhaps a vote recount is in order.

Zarak, totally agree with you, ninetykman and other friends above. FSH was depicting the morally bankrupt and subservient mentality of our “elite”. He was totally and shamelessly condoning attacks on Pakistan by a foreign power under the pretext that the foreign country is the world’s sole super power and we must accept anything they say blindly. He was totally oblivious of the fact that the sole power is 1)reeling from the sub-prime crisis, 2) borrowing heavilyf rom China (which holds billions of dollars of US Treasury Bills) and the rest of the world, 3)unable to raise further taxes for two awful and useless wars, 4) trying to prop an economy that is sinking into recession, whose top financial instiutions are being bailed out by sovereign wealth funds….etc etc… it is important to be friends with samandar par but on the basis of dignity and honour, not like subservient slaves. Can you imagine Indians allowing samandarpar to bomb their villages??!!
This pathologicial subservience is the mark of our elite. Secretary Tanvir Ahmad Khan finally got frustrated with FSH and told him he was living in some other world far from reality and should stop spreading this “psychosis of fear” in the hearts and minds of the people of Pakistan - a trademark of the mush era. TAK was excellent….really socked it to FSH.
I think Kashif is rather good, comes across well and is direct. former Secretary Khan is well known to be fiercely patriotic and never a pushover. Writes erudite pieces in Daily Times and News….Ahsan Iqbal is a well read man.
Pakistan has its brave men of world class stature.
Well done.
