    According to my journalist friend rumors are strong in Islamabad that Mush is going to resign within a month time but with a sheer cost of no judiciary re-instatements. Here what is being rumored;

    1) General Kiyani has recently changed corps commanders and MI chief to washout the concerns that Army is pro-Mush.

    2) Mush would be given an honorable exit for example he would fly out of country for ‘illaj’ purpose. Keeping this in mind MQM switched sides before it would get too late politically for them to change the boat.

    3) Judiciary WOULD NOT be re-instated as Zardari considers it a threat to his rule and of course NRO. PPPP thinks pre-Nov judiciary would not let things run smoothly thus keeping CJ Chaudhary and gang out would benefit all. USA is on board with them on this… that is what Irshad Haqqani of Jang hinted today:

    http://www.jang.com.pk/jang/mar2008-daily/28-03-2008/col1.htm

    4) According to above article CJ Doogar (duo no. judge) has been given assurance in a secret meeting with Zardari just a few days ago that nobody will remove him as CJ. Haqqani hints that BB brought Doogar to Supreme Court in 90s as he is PRO PPP.

    5) Mush’s resignation would be taken before judges resolution so that public’s emotions could be divided before NON-Reinstatment of judges. Muree Decleartion resolution would mean nothing!!!!

    6) Not sure what is the part of Nawaz Sharif in this, and how much consent he has given to all this? But according to Javaid Chaoudhry’s column written in express news just a few days back – Non-reinstatement of judges would be the key point for Sharif’s next election campaign.

If above is all true then Inshallah’ Zardari and PPP will sink very quickly.

PPP behind the scene business to sobotage lawyer’s movement:

ISLAMABAD: Rehman Malik, Adviser to the Prime Minister on Interior, on Friday created confusion on the issue of the judges’ restoration, claiming that the 30-day countdown will start the day the cabinet takes the oath.

Denying that he is the Presidency’s choice as adviser, he said: “I am a PPP man and not the Presidency’s representative.” A leading lawyer on Friday apprehended that Malik’s appointment, as Interior Ministry’s boss, is to create hurdles in the smooth restoration of the deposed judges.

    AND

The Pakistan People’s Party has signed the Murree Accord, still some elements are still found persuading some leading lawyers to a “Minus-One” formula that exclude the deposed Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry from the list of deposed judges to be restored.

The party though rejected these reports, no less than Justice (retd) Tariq Mehmud confirmed to The News that he was approached by a top legal aide and a sitting Senator of the PPP (latif khosa)

Zardari sucking in yet another Mush’s person:

ISLAMABAD: In a telling signal of change and continuity, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States Major General (retd) Mahmud Ali Durrani will be appointed as the National Security Adviser after he relinquishes charge of his present assignment and returns to the country, it has been learnt.

PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari has already given the green light for the appointment that will make room for ambassador-at-large Husain Haqqani to assume charge of Pakistan ambassador to the US, sources said.

PPP has been doing that since day one and glad you mentioned Latif Khosa who has been pursuing this policy relentlessly.

“Zardari sucking in yet another Mush’s person…Major General (retd) Mahmud Ali Durrani ”
Oh goody, goody! With Haqqini as the real foreign minister (hidden in a closet, of course) and now this piece of news, things are looking brighter, NOT!!!

I dont think PPP would survive politically if it ignored the issue of restoration of judges. It has already lost respect of its own supporters for allowing the MQM to join in. The MQM cant survive if it is not in the governmemt. The only known source of income of its leadership is ‘money extortion’ and they do it of course under the patronage of agencies and police. So it absolutely necessary for their survival to cooperate with every government. Their only solution is to keep them in opposition. Allow police to arrest its local Dons. It will hamper the new recruitments of unemployed youth. The MQM will die its natural death within a decade. If Zardari provides them a life line then even the diehard PPP supporters would find it hard to swallow. About the judiciar, the legal idiots wants us to believe that if Sultana Dakoo comes and arrest the judges then issue PCO and appoint his own judges who would validate his PCO and It would become part of the constituion? Dont you think they are Idiots rather than constituional experts as projected by geo and people like Irshad Haqqani? These opportunist must realise that their time is up. The nation does not have the stomach to digest their perverted and self serving arguments any more.

@nota: Karzai’s “outfits” have been designed by CIA psy/ops ppl… (who just might happen to be the leading edge designers in “islamic” cultural identity)

    point taken :)

Actually A.S. should have asked about the Punjab Assembly delay. Is that also being delayed because the PM secretariat hasn’t sent a “summary”? what nonsense!

I have read all the above posts….it is amazing…how skeptical mutwalas and piyalas are….they just don’t seem to get over their bias against PPP (although NS has said he is ready to work with PPP.I guess it is DNA problem)….now they are coming up with stories on how PPP will not act on Muree declaration…..and some of them just show their wishes in the form rumors and conjectures……all I can say…dream on………..

Guys…regarding Muree declaration…..don’t spread rumors…it helps Mush……I have no doubt in my mind that Muree declaration will be implemented…….Your leader NS has no doubt…..AA has said several times that he has no doubt…so please stop helping Mush by spreading rumors that too under the garb of NS support…..if you are mush supporters….be open about it….

It was mentioned above…if PPP did not do this…if PPP did not do that…it will be history…thanks for your suggestions…I can come up with long list of if NS did not do this..if NS did not do that….he will be a political history…..but don’t want to waste time…time will tell…..

The format of the program is good. However, what has gotten into Asma? She used to speak well and quite normally before. Why has she adopted this artificial dramatic style which reminds one fo Dr Shahid Masood’s torturous monologue at the start of Merey Mutabiq?

  • Aneeza said:

    @ TK

Give the poor lady a break! She dresses up pretty OK. This is the first time she looked a bit …… well….. gauche (for want of a better word). Maybe she did not have a matching dupatta to go along with her suit so she had to resort to the white one :)
