Liked the idea and fully endorse the load shedding in PM house and Zardari house. Please the extra lights at the rawal park may please be switched off at 9 pm. The government should make this nation wake up and open their shops at 10 am by max. SO then the shops be closed early too. Every where in the developed countries follow this rule. They have to take this step so the load shedding in the residential area be kept at minimum. Government can also have the timers installed for the street lights so they are automatically switched off and on at the required time.

I think if they turned off few lights in NA it will send a good message across pakistan to conserve energy.
Nothern Area people should have the same rights as other pakistanis and this new govt. should take steps in the right direction.

Karachi`s load shedding problem can be solved only if they start collecting electricity bills from MQM pplz. nobody dares to ask them to pay bills and they are the biggest bijli chor.

  8. ihtisham on April 1st, 2008 12:00 pm

more than pm house. there should be load shedding in army house and corps commander house. in fact there should be load shedding in all cantonments

  12. captain_jack_sparrow on April 1st, 2008 10:32 pm

MQM has been the “RAKHAIL” of every party and taking benefits from them, we would really appreciate the role of MQM in Karachi had there been developments and upgrading in Karachi level.
but where did they use all of money and benefits at least i am sure not in favour of karachi and its people.

  13. Optimist on April 1st, 2008 10:47 pm

Biggest Chore Achaka and Bhatta Khore Altaf is complaining.

He says that he showed ‘Khair Sagali’ in national interest and he can only see ‘Sard Mehri’.

What does this terrorist want? He is blackmailing to warm his pockets with money.

    What a loser!!

  14. TK on April 1st, 2008 10:55 pm

@optimist: Well he didn’t get any ministries. That’s what he means. He has to support 582b removal and 18th ammendment before he would get federal ministries. The americans took the occasion to activate the death squads before they took off from karachi (WHY THE FVCK were they allowed to meet provincial officials.. moshe kutia has no sense of decency left in him)

Now they will kill another 10 people of Sunni Tehrik this week. I think all these murders are approved at Central Committe level because these are all political murders… so I think their top ppl are quite possibly complicit.. I think Imran Khan is right.

i request Nusrat Javed please do not speak the language of baber awan, khosa and naik , three traitors in lawyers regardig restoration of CJ Iftikhar. Pakisai people are wise enough to look the matters deeply. if pro ppp trojan horses tried to change murree declaration then they shuld be ready for public protest against them. I also request PML (N)) to please have a close look at “zardari and Co”

what we have seen in one week that ntrious “rehman Malik and american darlig so called pseudo intellectual Haqani will be advisors to PM Gillani…PPP must understand it is not 90s when they looted money and run away.. if they try to repeat same once agan, it will be a political suicide ..people of pakistan needs good goverence but initial signs are that PPP is not going to change its hypocritic attitude which the party acquired from their “azeem quaid”…..

any media person who wil undue support PPP`s wrong actions will lose its support and respect

    thanks

    @fgkhan

Why don’t you blame MQM for Kashmir earthquake? This is new that people of Karachi do not pay their power bills. What a load of rubbish! People in other parts of the country believe that MQM is responsible for everything happening in Karachi whether it is load shedding or road accident. All governments have been responsible for their inaction to resolve energy crisis and never took it seriously. Someone like sleepingnation wants to kill 80% of Karachi voters by drowning them into Arabian Sea. I remember Ayub Khan made same inflammatory remarks long time ago and later his son Gohar Ayub after dodgy election win on 4th Jan 1965 attacked an Urdu speaking colony, Liaqatabad. I believe that was the darkest day in the history of this city and Indian migrants first time thought of an identity and their position in their own city. Mr. sleepingnation, you may disagree with MQM policies but think again; where will this game end if you start throwing people into Arabian Sea.? We all know every action has a reaction and what think would happen to the money order which is remitted from Karachi so frequently and so abundantly for other parts of the country?

The best way is to to discuss the policies and actions of aprties rather than individuals.

I urge all to contribute postive criticism and avoid inflammatory words and reactions.
