    Kh Asif

We are waiting for you to deliver on the speeches that you did in previous national assembly.

Are you going to change the educational system? You said that you ll abandon education apartheid if elected into power. Please deliver.

less than 24 hours ago you said ‘we are laughing that Pakistani people will be cheated again’.

Keep your love of Mush/MQM. Don’t worry about Kh Asif.

‘Jee Bhar ke ro lo beta’

    Mush is dead…

Why the hell are you waiting after 200 Billion rupees worth of corruption by Qatil Movement’s minister

Go enjoy the money earned by favours from sector incharge

I do not hate or love but I would like the politicians to deliver.

I am just reminding Kh Asif to deliver on his promises.

Only yesterday you were claiming that you couldn’t learn English because of policies of Kh Asif and Tehmina Daultana. You had objections that their children don’t speak Punjabi. And these Punjabis are ‘Chopayas’ I told you they can speak 3 languages, and then you started going round and round like Altaf Don.

Don’t remind politicians, remind yourself that Mush is gone.

You must be a Midwife. You repeat the word ‘deliver’ too much. Is that Kh Asif’s fault too?

Don’t you think you come up with statement after eight years :) his speech was in 2006 after 7 years rule of musharraf. He took oath yesterday, he is not Merlin or a Wizard from LOTR.

Believe me this site will be start picking on these politicians, but after some reasonable time.

people r expecting a lot from these people so they have to deliver otherwise they will bcome history.

  • Zarak Khan said:

Good program. Both Khawaja Asif & Qamar Zaman Qaira are very impressive. My prayers are with them and their colleagues that they are successful in their mission.

Khawaja Asif should have been given the defense ministry. Every effort should be made to discuss, debate and approve the Pak army budget in parliament.

Good show, Kashif did well-done. I think we should give some time to new cabinet for implementation of their policies/promises. After one or two months we can definitely ask them abt their performance.
Kashif is very right that 100 days plan announced by PM is much ambitious rather than practical / realistic.

But I suppose just speak truth is not the solution of our problems as new minister is taking this stance. They must do something practically to reinforce their trust and credibility in public. People are not expecting miracles but want to see and smell some positive/constructive changes in their lives.
    Anyways hope for the best

your concepts about establishment are quite wrong. Punjab is not establishment. Our previous prime minister was not from punjab. Musharaf is not from punjab. Establish belongs to no province. they are joint bcoz of their interests only.

Chooran Devi has been dodging the great Darja of Shahadat for a very long time. Tsch! tsch! tsch!….Not very ladylike, is it now?

But soon. Soon. The shab-e-zafaaf will be with Chooran Devi where she will put tilak of Chooran in her maang(?) and become the bride for martyrs.

And all of Pakistan shall sing:

    Kala Shah Kala
Kala Shah Kala mera kala hai dil dar
    Gorean no dafa karo

Bano teri UK ki oonchi haveli
    Bano mein dhoondta chala aaya

Bano tere jhoomer ke laryan tooteen
    Bano mein, GOLIYAN chunta aaya

i think its common sense that we give these people time on the economy issues,

but for me the reinstatement of the judges would bring a feel good factor back to the country and have a positive impact inshallah.

  • Muhammad Hanif Gul said:

I dont understand why the media is not allowing the new governments to unmask the corruption and bad practices of Musharaf? I am watching programme from all the channels and with the exception of AAJ TV, all other anchor persons seem to go to any extent to protect and conceal the crimes of MUSHARAF. I think, they should be rationale and present the real picture of the present situation. The extent of damage caused by Musharaf Government must be brought before Public. The money that army is receiving from US for the last five years must be audited and details be published in media. So that People would know the true face of Pakistan Army and also the detailed report of military atrocities in tribal areas and Balochistan must be published.

  • pejamistri said:

    @Gul
yes , there is a deliberate attempt from the establishment to ensure that media puts the pressure on new government not to expose the corruption of Musharraf and his cronies. Unfortunately that’s how it has always happened, establishment ensured after Ayub and Yahaya to keep thier wrong-doings concealed from public, same goes with Zia , one of the important aspect of establishment is to paint everybody associated with them as honest people. But fact of the matter is that they are the most corrupt people. The corruption of Musharraf regime is much more than the combined corruption since 1972-77 1989-1999. The estimated amount that came into Pakistan is around 100 billion dollars in terms of money sent by expats, US Europe Aid, privatization, military aid by US and last but not the least donations for October’s earthquake.
I pray to Allah that when so many unbelievable things are happening in our country , may Allah grant the courage to politicians to look into the corruption of General and his cronies :)

Qamar Zaman Kaira is one of the few really good people in the PPP today (he is “my” MNA, our village is in his constituency, so I am biased). I wish they had given him a more serious post. Khwaja Asif is always good. But establishment ney kachee goliaan nahin kheleen. It will take a lot more to get this corruptocracy under some kind of democratic control…

  • The Hope said:

If this coalition could not restore the pre 3rd judiciary within 30 days as promised then it will mark the utmost failure of this government. If this step is not taken then this parliament can never be supreme and sovereign. Parliament makes the judiciary independent and judiciary strengthens the parliament. One can never ever work without the favour of the other institution.

  • The Hope said:

Hahahah yaar kashif cheetah hai!! well done kashif you grab them by neck every time..keep rocking!

  • Rashid said:

    Few things to note:

It seems like the new ministers will do what has always happened in Pakistan. Their stance will be humein masail virsay mae milay hae…masail buhut haen aur vasail buhut thoray hae. Take home message for the people is that don’t expect any relief.

Khwaja Asif seemed to know very well all the problems but did not offer a single solution or plan going forward.

Qamar Zaman : We take all these facilities not for our own benefit but for the benifit of farmers, mill workers, mali, mochi , masi….when these poor people become ministers they wont have to worry about PA , house in Islamabad and transport….what a nonsense answer

However, the hope is that media will keep the government on tight rope and that will force them to do something positive.

  • mbokhari said:

This coalition won’t be able to deliver on pretty much anything. Too many sources of instability. One googly from Chooran Devi and the economy will be in trouble. The government won’t be able to control prices of oil or food or pretty much any other crisis.

The judiciary can be their saving grace, their vindication. If Iftikhar Chaudhry is not reinstated it will be pretty much down the toilet for PPP and NS will be quick to ditch them.

New elections, woohoo! Back to 1997.

  • aristotle said:

Why our media /anchors do not talk abt Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan? Restoration of judges is very important but we shud also keep remember another prisoner in Islamabad who is paying a very high cost for his services. Why not media take this issue on board?
