What a great great seminar with great speakers like Mahathir Mohammad and Imran Khan. Both are personalities delivering a message clear and cloud. Nobody is in doubt what these gentlemen want to say…no guessing. We need more seminars like this one to educate the people of Pakistan!
Nor Imran Khan or Mahathir Mohammad had news on this topic, but still it is delighting to hear these great personalities speaking truthfully about how things are connected in reality. I am sick of hearing the usual way (=mantra) the West wants to portray the issue or rather force their opinion upon us through the media and their collaborators in the Muslim world.
Although Imran Khan scratches the surface in a manner that echoes the woes, trials and tribulations facing an intelligent, morally conscious and frustrated muslim person, however, Dr. Mahathir delves deep into the subject matter and pin-points the matter with a expert precision and in a manner which is entirely befitting of a great statesman.
Bravo to both of these marvellous gentleman. Dr. Mahathir has always expressed his views without fear or regret and so has Imran Khan. Seeing these two together makes one almost wish and pray to Allah Almightly that while Dr. Mahathir was the great (and only) worth leader of Islam in the past, that Mr. Khan be the stalwart and leader of His people in the future.

A Pakistani friend forward this link to me. I do have many comments, but I’ll focus on just the main theme of the second speech. The one by Dr. Mahatir. He rather emphatically presents his twisted argument that American forces are terrorists too, just like the goons of OBL. The problem with this argument is simple.
If Hitler was a terrorist, then anyone who fought against him was a terrorist too.
OR
If Taliban in Afghanistan were spreading terror, then anyone fighting the Taliban must be a terrorist.
Because in both the examples civilians were killed by the forces who defeated Hitler and Taliban.
Anyone who buys this argument these days is termed a skinhead or a Nazi. It is really unfortunately that Dr. Mahatir has muddled the issue by equating American forces (and Pakistani forces in FATA) with OBL terrorists.
What can I say! Dr. Mahatir has definitely confused his Pakistani audience. I mean this is what the tribals in FATA are saying too.
I wonder the rhetoric like Mr. Mahatir will help or hurt Pakistanis.
I don’t know why we are comparing Imran Khan with Great Dr. Mahatir. Dr. Mahatir is living legend in the world of reality and Imran Khan is also legend but only in the internet world. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Internet zindabad.

A great Effort by Imran khan in bringing such a great personality (Mr. Mahatir bin Mohammed) to speak in Pakistan

I realize this lecture was a couple of years ago, but I hope you people are beginning to wise up.
Have you looked into the collapse of the Towers? Are you familiar with Building 7? You can, presumably, google it.
The planes did not bring the towers down. Nothing hit Building 7 (47 stories), which collapsed by controlled demolition in about 7 seconds.
