    I am watching it right now… its hilarious… Minhas and Nusrat are out of control !

    These incidents would continue to happen, and would later be used as a pretext by Musharraf for dissolving the assemblies. Remember Murtaza’s murder, and how Laghari used it as an excuse. Shameful, but thats how our establishment works.

    Message to PPP: Don’t trust the President, and the MQM. You can’t (and shouldn’t) appease everyone.

    Bolta Pakistan showed Arbab Rahim slap a poor guy and after that tramission went off.”

    Now don’t put this on musharraf, sherry rehman has to answer this. In most of the program the duo was critical of PPP conduct especially mushtaq minhas was very critical about jaylaas

    My theory is that this was done by PPP govt.

  • drzeato said:

    All PPP PML has to do is to restore judges while sacking the Attorney General. If Musharraf frets a lot, bring in impeachment. This battle has to be on two fronts.

  • drzeato said:

    What I can’t comprehend the reason for keeping Attorney General and that Sh*t-hole Durrani!!! There is someone in the PPP camp whose antennas are tuned to Musharraf.

    @engineer

    Educate yourself. Jump TV had problem with Bolta Pakistan not the AAJ TV. The program was aired in Pakistan. You can view it using the link posted above.

    @drzeato

    I did not make that claim, I replied to one of the very very loyal jaylaa of PPP

    @drzeato

    I did not make that claim, I replied to one of the very very loyal jaylaa of PPP. the implication in the claim that it was a conspiracy against PPP. what I meant that if it was conspiracy then it is not against PPP, it was done by PPP

    Mushtaq Minhas is pro-right wing politics namely JI and PMLN!

    mustaq minhas was great today, he didt let nusrat talk who is always pro PPP.

  • Democracy said:

    This is all about making sure that the May 12th inquiry never happens and threatening the PPP. I hope Asif Zardari now understands well what deal making with MQM means. There is no deal making possible with these criminals.

    wise people said: “as you saw so shall you reap”.

    the “awami numainda” who doean’t give a damn about “awam” is given a damn by “awam” due to his offenses towards “awam” and “awami leaders”.

    may Allah help us!

  • TK said:

    Jiyo MushtaaQ Minhaas! he shut out NJ and the only reason is that NJ wanted to say something in favor but his loyalties to PP are just too strong.

    I am wondering about the conspiracy angle though. It could work very nicely to break the ppp-mqm alliance and both mqm and pml-n are going to be winners (sorry Amin Fahim — you keep holding that bag bro)

    Thoug given the jiyaala attitudes before and the irrational support of every move of the ‘leadership’ I’m inclined to believe that it probably was them.

    Although the possiblity of a false-flag ops by agencies/mqm cannot be ruled out.

  • ninetykman said:

    MM was on fire. He shutdown NJ, who favours PPP wihtout any reasoning.

    We should be free to critisize the parties we support. No one is perfect.

  • yaqub2005 said:

    It was a bad incident and should not have occured. Although Arbab Rahim was too stupid during his tenure.

    However it is clear signal to MUSH to go home with some dignity (whatever is left).

  • MukMukaa said:

    Boom Boom MM.

    Hilarious!!! Mushtaq is ‘Tunn’ today .. happy to see him taking care of NJ.

    Must Watch..

    Regarding this incident, this sherafghan guy deserved it, he and mush denied everything and were impervious to the cries of the people. this had to happen. As u sow, so shall be u reap.

    I am sorry but you got it all wrong, it wasn’t Murtaza’s murder only. It was a whole series of extra judicial murders (murtaza was one of them) and whole series of mysterious disappearences of the Karachiites that were the real reasons. If you are unaware, even Murtaza Bhutto was very vocal about these extra-judicial murders going on in Karachi. Just see first 15 secs of this video for his reaction on extra-judicial killings.

    I don’t like Talat’s statement about ridiculing lawyers pressure on the politicians. In my view the lawyers need the show the sentiments all the way until the judiciary is restored.

    Talat is right on criticizing AA, when he asked the TV cameras to be turned off. He should not have done. What was more condemnable on the part of the media (GEO TV) was their presentation with interviews with all the wrong people. It was this act which should be condemned. They should have brought a more balanced view by asking the other parties too.

    Asma Jahangir and Mushtaq represented the case quite well.

  • temporarynick said:

    PPP is just making up the conspiracy theories. It was a JIALA act and is condemnable. Talking about the wrong deeds of Arbab Ghualam Raheem is not an excuse or justification of this act considering it happened inside the Assembly building. Mushtaq Minhas was really on fire today.

    One thing is interesting though which is the way MQM is responding to this issue. The boycotting of Assembly even before PMLQ even says something. then issuing the statements like
    ” we can bring thousands of people to the assembly as its in karachi”. or
    “PPP yaad rakhey hum baigharat nahee hain ”
    They are clearly showing their old tactics of blackmailing other parties to get as much as they can.
