PPP should make stance on something…how can u say jugdes will restore in 30 days and now they saying we will have constitutional package for judiary…. just creating confusion
Dr. Shoaib Suddle has been appointed as IG Sindh Police. This is a very positive development. The man has high standards, is extremely honorable, and best of all very brave and courageous. I just hope that he is allowed to function with maximum power and independence (something rare in Pakistan). He should stay at least 5 to 10 years. The man is very capable.
If anyone is the answer to Karachi’s crime and terrorist activities, it is Dr. Suddle.
May Allah be with you and protect you, Dr. Shoaib Suddle.
I agree with you that Dr. Suddle is very well qualified to be the IG police but because of the past he could get into trouble. If he and the MQM clash then there could be a lot of trouble. Considering the kind of mood AZ is in, I think that Sudle will be told to focus on street crime etc and leave the MQM alone.
If he can bring street crime, robberies, Lyari problem under control then he will have the trust of the people. Once he has that then he can take on anyone.
In my view it will hopefully depend on performance of the political parties – be it big parties PPPP, PML-N or small parties as for ex. PTI. The Pakistanis have developed considerably. People are willing to set aside tradition and populist thinking and instead cast their votes based on principles. In the future there will be no sympathy votes either. People will look at different issues and make up their opinion accordingly, inshallah!
What is most important is that sincere and capable people receive the peoples mandate regardless of party affiliation.
Another excellent program …. As always, Hanif Abbasi is right on the sweet spot !
