looking at previous CM interview i would like to add how shamelessly Pervaiz Ellahi lied about the tenure of the illegal President as in unfortunate 17th amendment the Presidential election could not be held before 15th November 2007 and 17th amendment allowed mushi kutta to hold office for the fixed term upto 15th November so there was no justification in having him elected by the same puppet parliament.

Secondly when the new coilation wants/ tends to go by constitutionally i would like to add to deal with two number people like mushy you need to deal in the same language which they understand as they are illegal they can be removed by same way they assumed power. "Diamond cuts Diamond". Mushy plus MQM wants anarchy in the country as both do not regard constitution of this country. So both public enemies must be dealt in the same manner as you can't get rid of these pests easily they must be sprayed leathly. I would say about PML (Q), MQM and all Army Governers and the illegal Mushy that they are "Divided by interests and UNITED BY CRIME".

To take these public enemies to justice there is only one justice slain them publically.

Talat Hussain has a mind that works like clockwork. He doesn't let politicians deviate from the question. Superb points raised

- How can you NOT accept the Presidency of Musharraf, and subsequently, the Governor of Punjab (because he was appointed by Musharraf) BUT accept the election commissioner and the elections UNDER Musharraf which gave you power?

- How can you improve the whole of Punjab when you couldnt even improve your own area (regardless of how long you were in power [3-5 years should have ])displayed some development]) ?

Please convy my massage to the hosts of all the political shows, before they start their program, they should request or instruct their guests to speak in our national language Urdu. Why these politician are knowingly ignorant ? The majority audiance or viewer cant understand English. The goal of politician should be to convy their massage to the broader public. Its only possible if they speak simple Urdu or other regional language by explioting this opportunity to be on the television. Look, Imran khan, Asfand Wali and so on.

I don't think it is that sorrowful a situation. Talat was actually wrong in pointing that 'you are not actually the CM and SS is not eligible to advice you'. Khosa doesn't represent himself to be the chief, he has been nominated by the party to lead the province. Whatever he will do, it has to be with the consent of his party leadership. He can not have his own personal agenda. He has to follow the agenda he has been mentioning in his party election campaign. And above all, he won the seat... not because of himself but in fact it was PML(N) who won the seat.

Khosa seems to be a show off novice in the limelight and eager to show his (not so fluent) English capabilities. I am not sure he is fit for this position, but maybe it was not the intention......SS is maybe the real CM just like AZ is pulling the wires in the YRG case :-(
If my assumption is right then it is highly regretabble way to introduce democracy:-(

I think one of the best interviews. So precise questioning and made the chief minister to answer with full responsibility. Not a bad response by the CM. i wish if he could be the CM for 5 years, but he has to leave in favour of SS. thanks for adding this nice program.

I have been to LUMS once. It is indeed a source of pride for every Pakistani. The observations regarding lack of discipline are correct but the discipline is not the basic or primary virtue as is generally believed atleast for the creative and adventorous souls. And also it is incorrect that LUMS is for elites only. The admission criteria is tough. But if a student manage to get admission, then, even if he is poor, LUMS would support his/her education. I am doing my M.Sc. from UK now and I believe that the standard of Education in LUMS is at par if not better than the western instituion. In my view, institutions like LUMS should be followed and replicated in every nook and corner of the country.
If ever, I would go for my doctorate in management studies, I would prefer LUMS over many elite Western Universities. But it is difficult to get into LUMS than to universities abroad.
Lastly friends, lets celebrate the new and refreshing dawn of democracy. I am keeping my fingers crossed for the restoration of judges and impeachment of Musharaf.

@kurkosmici: If you have kids or plan to have 'em, send them to North korea for schooling. Over there, you will find everything you're looking for if you wish to permanently institutionaize your childeren as yourself. I also highly recommend chistia ghousia line of madrassas which suits your description well.

@kurkosmici

I myself am a GIKIan but from lower middle economic class. I agree to most of what you wrote but you need to maintain a balance. When I graduated from GIKI some 9-10 years back, I faced a discriminatory attitude from most people at soem interviews. A UET guy would judge me as a rich incompetent person just because I graduated from GIKI. Fortunately I was lucky enough to get to Denmark and make myself a decent career. It was hard to convince my countrymen about my talents but it was relatively much easier in Denmark. Point being ... maintain a sense of balance ... quality always comes with an associated monetary cost. If a common man cannot afford GIKI or LUMS ... the problem lies elsewhere.
