EU confirms Rehman Malik’s key role.

Sorry its ECP (election commission of pakistan) not EU.
Make not doubt, Pakistan Army is STILL backing Musharaff. He has become the first Civilian (if he is) President to address the “Darbar” which is PURELY a Army event and only Senior Army Personnel are invited to attend.

There was a time that parents of young girls use to seek “KAPTAN SAHB” for their daughters… but not any more.. … I have learned from very reliable Army sources that there has been an un official notice to all army officers to not to go in public as they can be identified by their hair cut……
Army is quickly detiorating, every one knows that majority of officers in army come from Punjab and Jawans from NWFP and Balochistan…..
BTW I think it was a planned move on Mush’s team to show him with Army to let Zardari know that “HUKAY MAY SAY PANI BHI ATA HAY “
breaking news

@Riddle 792
Just talked to Mushtaq Minhas.
He denied any such news that he is leaving AAJ or even Bolta Pakistan.
This is just a rumour and I would request all to be responsible and not spreading rumours else such people might be banned.
May be the operator said mushtaq minhas “ghar chelay gai hain” haha
Democracy, as Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto predicted, is the best form of revenge. Revenge can, however, come in different guises, in unexpected ways and at unexpected times. For example, after the decisive Battle of Naseby in 1645, one of King Charles’ vanquished Royalists taunted his Roundhead parliamentarian opponents in their moment of victory: “Now that you have done with us, go fight amongst yourselves.”
Perhaps Musharraf’s loyalists are praying for just such satisfaction — whenever that miracle may occur, however belatedly.

I’m not too sure the army is still ‘backing’ moshe.. although he _is_ imposing himself on all these functions… to bluff the civilian politicians into thinking that the Army _is_ backing him..
eventually, as these idiots lose precious time, the ARMY WILL start supporting him again as the politicians have proved themselves to be spineless FOKKS yet one more time..
So, he’s just following the dictum: Fake it till you make it!
What can I say? Our “democratic forces” are being led by the “Spineless Pu$$y Brigade!” Bravo!

The PPP leader will also meet with MQM Quaid Altaf Hussain in London and pass some time with his son Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, said Jameel Soomro, a spokesman of Zardari House.
Zardari will return home on Monday, the spokesman said.

Minister confirms removal of housing scam traces
Thursday, May 08, 2008
By Rauf Klasra
ISLAMABAD: The mysterious disappearance of the official master file of the biggest real estate scam of Rs450 billion from the record of the Housing Ministry shocked the senators on Wednesday, amid another stunning disclosure by Minister Rehmatullah Kakar that not only the master file, but 300 pages of the file containing evidences collected by the estate officer Sher Afzal Khan into the scam during his visit to Karachi were also stolen.
The disclosure of the minister confirmed the fears already being aired in the capital that the Ministry of Housing and Works did not give due importance to such an important file and because of this traditional official lethargy, the file was stolen. A joint secretary of the Ministry of Housing who retired only last month is now being suspected of involvement in stealing the master file.

Nawaz needs to be watched, US house panel told
Thursday, May 08, 2008 - 06:35 AM EST Section: Serving Colonial Masters
A US congressional panel was told on Wednesday that while the PPP was doing a good job in Pakistan, former prime minister Nawaz Sharif needed to be watched. [Full story]
Criminials, thugs, dictators and people with slave mentality like Mush and Zardari are the most favoured personalitieis for the totalitarians in Washington. Anyone, who has a slightest trace of independent mindedness needs to watched and be afraid of. Those are the “extremists” and “terrorists” who can undermine the totalitarian designs and de facto colonization of the warlords and modern day colonialists.

@TK
IMO Army apperars to be standing behind Mush and will continue to do so in support of the collective decisions made under Mush-in -uniform until atleast the new American president steps in with a slightly changed game plan or the ruling democratic alliance in Pakistan wins a two third majority in the parliment enabling them to take him head on. Army may not be able to offer much help to Mush in his post retirement moves. However they definately will step in if there is a threat to his life.
Why do not they try Huda along with Musharraf?
Brigadier Huda, who was an ISI commander in Sindh, was in fact the caretaker of the MQM-PML-Q provincial coalition government. He was responsible for running the coalition in a smooth manner. All major decisions were taken after his consultation.
He resolved the differences between former CM Arbab Ghulam Rahim and the MQM many a time. Many provincial ministers even used to say “ooper Khuda aur neechay Huda”. The brigadier’s name figured in the power circles of Islamabad in the evening of May 12, 2007. Brigadier Huda was given credit for the show of massive government power in Karachi on that day.

Ecuador’s Leader Purges Military and Moves to Expel American Base
Chafing at ties between American intelligence agencies and Ecuadorean military officials, President Rafael Correa is purging the armed forces of top commanders and pressing ahead with plans to cast out more than 100 members of the American military from an air base here in this coastal city. [complete story]
The Pakistani army should do the same: Purge it from the torture-master and Pakistani-seller Kiyani and child-killer Tariq Majid.
Could these who live as Ghazis and die as Shaheeds fetch some courage from south Americans.

Did Pakistan army kidnap the ambassador.
http://www.dictatorshipwatch.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=article&sid=4736&mode=thread&order=0&thold=0
Pakistan army has been engaged in so many anti state activities that it is not surprising that it has a hand in this kidnapping affairs of the ambassador for the simple reason so that it can carry on America’s agenda.
In the past Paksitan army kidnapped and tortured/killed Pakistanis. It sold Pakistanis. It fought 1965 war so that American ammunition sells (not Kashmir gets freedom). It broke Pakistan. It took huge loans for non productive projects on high interest rates. It did explostions in Pakistan before elections so people are scared to vote for army (the biggest political party using cover of Q league). It killed BB. It recently staged an assault on Arbab Raheem and on Sher Afgan.
In comparision Civilian politicians can be easily criticised, ridiculed, painted villains, whiped, media trialed, incarcerated, exiled and even put to gallows.
Conspiracies never die. Conspiracy theorists will never let them die.

Rehman, Haqqani, Durrani…..what is going on? Where is the real PP leadership?
Hussain Haqqani’s real face
A recent post run by Teeth Maestro on his blog that features another renowned web-activist that goes by the pseudonym of Temporal and writes at Baithak and discusses how a few old faces are reappearing and how they are making sure that their government service’s maligned past is buried and forgotten forever. These two gentlemen write with great authority and research on the political goings-on of Pakistan..
From the days of General Zia ul Haq, the most notorious (dick)head of state of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, one name never seems to die out. Like a roach, it has survived the test of time and come back to haunt the scene once again in the form of Husain Haqqani. Or Hussain Haqqani? The post by Temporal points out by mentioning a news report by Anjum Niaz in Dawn , and confirmed by two other major dailies of Pakistan, The News , and The Daily Times how this man and his other associates are going around town doing all they can to literally burn their past. The burning of all records of their previous cases held at the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) was personally seen out by him and a few other people.

@commoner: I agree with you that they won’t allow harm to come to him.. but I think they would have thrown him ‘to the dogs’ had the ‘dogs’ shown some spine and some ba!!s !
The way to control the jurnails is not to let a usruper go to the ‘durbar’, sit with the COAS and in general look all ‘legitimized’ and sh!t..
These men should be made examples of! The jurnails only respond to RAW power! NOTHING ELSE! If they don’t follow discipline… EXECUTE THEM IN FRONT OF THEIR PEERS! and the Nation! If the Police doesn’t follow your order to arrest them, EXECUTE THEM TOO.. IF the GENERAL of ISI thinks HE’s bigger than the State of Pakistan and the collective will of the people EXECUTE HIM TOO! These people don’t pay any price for their transgressions! They MUST PAY!
PURGE THE FOKKERS! because they will fokking get us all killed! Exactly like the Iraqi douchebags did… If the Iraqi’s had grown the ba!!s to rise up against (please don’t mentione the suckers in the south) Saddam and his “generals”.. their womeon won’t be wh0ring themselves on the streets of Ammaan and Damascus today.. as their children are slaughtered by the hundreds likd DOGS every single day!
P.S. What’s with “Darbar” ????
(why the FOKK is the Army still using this god-damned british raj term anyways? do they fancy being our “Raja’s” perchane? as told to them by their foreign handlers?)
@TK
What you are asking for would need a popular uprising, an up-surge of the masses, a revolution.
I think one cannot ask for or even expect it from a government formed through an electoral process.
Javed Hashmi states:
–
…“A courageous ‘no’ on March 09, 2007, changed the history of the country,” he said. It is now being felt that the judiciary is also being restored under NRO, he added.
—
Regardless of how much happy face the PML-N shows from the outside and its “unconditional” support for the PPP, this is what they believe internally, or at least those who are sincere to restore the judiciary.
PIMS chief pathologist restored
ISLAMABAD: Prof Dr Anwarul Haque has resumed the charge of head of Pathology Department of Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS).
He was restored to the office a day ago on the directions of Health Minister Sherry Rehman.
Last August, Prof Haque was made officer on special duty (OSD) and transferred to the Health Ministry for challenging President Pervez Musharraf’s second run for the president. The Supreme Court (SC) had later dismissed his petition seeking permission to contest the presidential election. staff report

“Leaves of graft”
Rehman, Haqqani, and Durrani are the trhree names mentioned by Mr. Kabir Wasti on Live with Talat - May 5 claiming having them on board was a dictate of US as part of the deal.
Pakistan’s Constitutional Shenanigans Permit the Fox to Eat the Lion
Invoking the non-existent powers of the Army Chief last November under a declaration of emergency rule, Pervez Musharraf dismissed sixty high court judges and implanted the dismissal order in the Constitution as an amendment. The order/amendment reads: “A Judge including the Chief Justice, of the Supreme Court, a High Court or Federal Shariat Court who had, not been given or taken oath under the Oath of Office (Judges) Order, 2007, had ceased to hold office on and with effect from the 3rd day of November, 2007.” That a single person can amend the Constitution is egregious. Even more egregious is the demand that the democratically elected Parliament, if it wishes to restore the sacked judges, must repeal the order/amendment with the constitutionally required “votes of not less than two-thirds of the total membership of (each) House.” ….
By the way, it was reported that Mush Qayyum and Hafiz KuttayKaPuttar Pirzada were meeting till late last night discussing the new draft (that alone tells who Hafiz represents and yet PPP won’t come clean on this). That “discussion” seems to have continued through today as Qayyum and Pirzada were found by Express News having lunch together.
@nota
Thanks for sharing excellent article, nothing that we didn’t know already but a very nice refresher.
PMLN has realized that PPP has tilted lot toward Moshe, so thier tone toward PPP is a bit harsh after bi-election episode. They don’t talk wishy-washy anymore.
@commoner: I think it can be done even with a democratically elected government.. which has the people behind it (see Venezuela, Ecuador etc.)
But I think you have a point, The thing is that our civil and military oligarchies have become so incestual that they are not willing to act against each other.. and our politics is just a soap opera of feuds between jurnails and civilians (married into jurnails.. jurnails married into them.. uski behen iski bhabi.. uska baap iska maamooN hai blah blah)
So, I guess you’re right.. the current ruling class as a whole may actually be forcing us in a direction (revolution) which can only be accomplished by ruffians who are not hampered by all these incestual “biradree-ism” at the apex of this pyramid of control.
KARACHI, May 7: The Sindh police are finding it hard to spare more manpower for the Lyari police to come down hard on gangsters operating in the area, but they have handed over 3,500 policemen with mobiles for guard duties to members of the new cabinet, politicians and influential people, it has been learnt.
“The government should prove that it is serious about solving the problem of Lyari by committing resources and manpower. So far only lollypops have been handed out,” remarked a senior police officer, requesting.
Lyari is supposedly PPP garh. Lollypops for Awam and PM protocol for Zardari and his kids.

@nota: thanks for the link, I’ve been harping on the issue rasied in the para below, and recieing BS from jiyala’s on this (not to mention my opposition to the ‘ascenion of the duldul’ to the throne as it were)
Okay, now to the part you quoted:
And what’s EVEN MORE EGREGIOUS (not to mention a fcuking crying shame) is that Zardari and PPP can sit there on National TV and support and regurgitate the above NONSENSE legitimizing those actions of the single usurper with a straight face and a fake smile!
@geog47: Can you please reference your quotes properly? instead of writing your own opinion mixed with the quote (and then trying to be ’sneaky’ and mentioning just the site)
It only hurts your credibility.
Establishment looks confident that it would come out of current situation in few months, this could be PPP, Moshe parties (PMLQ,MQM) combination or may be new election. They have decided to sideline PMLN one way or other.

@savage,
I think that the establishment has so far been able to use the divide-and-conq rule quite effectively. If we look around, we still see that the chaos has not come down a bit as compared to what it was before Feb 18th. There were high hopes that the new government would start delivering on their promisses but so far they have not been able to decide on the judjes issues; thanks largely to the snake Zardari and his cronies.
Now we also know the real power of NRO and why it was promulgated. Zardari and all other corrupts are going to fight tooth-and-nail to make sure that that NRO is not revoked and they will not care whether the judiciary is restored or not because that is not their priority. PML-N should have taken a firm stand and quit on 05/01from all ministries from the center. They would have earned a lot of respect for sticking firm on their stance.
From what I have seen so far is that nothing will change without a major change and that major change will not be brought in by these spineless politicians. We are still seeing the same zalil-uddin-haramzadas, the Qayyums, the Khalid Maqbools, etc. So, what has changed in the last three months? nothing.

Anti-Pakistan and foreign implanted agents
An enemy in the guise of a friend
Since decades we are breeding snakes, a snake in the grass, we have been ignoring them because we believe in freedom of speech, some foreign implanted agents for the sake of their bread and butter have gone too far that meaning of freedom of speech has lost its meaning. In fact some peoples in media are fascist in nature, their all writings revolve around destruction and genocides theories.
Stating ideoligies is not harmful for the society but when behind the curtain of ideoloigies scholars start to push state forces to take law in their hands then situation goes worse. We always plead for rule of law, it means any culprit must be punished according to law defined in the constitution. Alleged person is not a criminal till he/she is proved to be criminal in courts, Pakistan penal code defines thousand of laws, hundred never applied to criminals.
It has been brought to the notice of public sine Oct 1999 that west has funded some peoples to create anarchy in to Pakistan. Particularly after 911 dozens of NGO’s, stretegic institutes, intellectuals and scholars are being hired to create panic in the society, divide them on non issues to strengthen their employed authoritarian ruler, peoles who are working full time have financial and morale support from different government quarters.
Previously some individuals working on foreign and local fundings were brought in the notice of public with their agenda and ways how those are dividing Pakistani society on secterian, ethnic, regional and race basis. Most of them belong to English press, dilema of English press is that when ever some body takes name of Harvard, Tuft or Oxford, they use the name of that person for the sake of modernity, irrespective their affiliation with anti-state and anti- Muslim groups. Some Pakistani’s who have moved to western countries are helping anti-Pakistan lobbies for their bread and butter.

Anti-Americanism in Pakistan upsets envoy
KARACHI, May 8: US Ambassador Anne W. Patterson has said that the depth of anti-Americanism in Pakistan, especially in the middle class, has surprised her because Pakistan’s long-term interests are aligned with “ours and with those of other western countries”.
“I suspect that those who oppose American engagement in Pakistan have a limited understanding of how our partnerships — economic assistance and financial interactions — changed the lives of everyday Pakistanis in real and positive ways,” she said at a meeting with corporate leaders here on Thursday. The meeting was organised by the Management Association of Pakistan.
“It appears that people who come up with the most fanciful conspiracy theories do so in an attempt to distract the public from the true causes of extremism and poverty.”
She warned that the increasingly prosperous middle class would be the first to suffer because extremists were gaining ground. “Extremists have gained ground during the past two years,” she said….
Lawyers say ‘no’ to PCO judges
LAHORE, May 8: Workers of political parties almost outnumbered lawyers in their Thursday rally, slating the sitting judges for swearing to work under the Provisional Constitutional Order (PCO).
Though Makhdoom Javed Hashmi, during his address at the Lahore Bar Association, expressed his party’s resolve to restore the deposed judges, senior lawyers at the Lahore High Court Bar Association rejected the move to retain `PCO judges’. “Blurring the distinction between the real and the PCO judges will be a cruel mistake,” said Nisar Safdar advocate while addressing the LHCBA general meeting.
A good number of lawyers this correspondent talked to were not sure the coalition would be able to honour its fresh commitment of reinstating the deposed judges by May 12. “The knot the PPP seems to have tied with the establishment is a stumbling block in the restoration of the judges,” said former LHCBA secretary Sarfraz Cheema.
After their general house meetings, the lawyers at Aiwan-i-Adl and the Lahore High Court Bar assembled in front of the GPO (General Post Office). On their way, some lawyers gathered at the high court judges’ gate and chanted slogans against the `PCO judges’ - a practice that had been the hallmark of every weekly rally when Justice Iftikhar Hussain Chaudhry was the LHC chief justice.
Though a few familiar faces associated with the PML-N were seen in the rally, their workers – known for raising peculiar slogans holding party flags - were missing. The PPP has already abandoned lawyers’ shows since the Feb 18 election.Workers of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf, Jamaat-i-Islami, Khaksaar Tehrik, Labour Party made their presence felt through their sloganeering against Pervez Musharraf. Several lawyers beat up a Labour Party worker, who had an argument with a lawyer over getting a bottle of water from a van distributing water among the protesters…..

Decision on judges’ restoration
The so-called judges’ committee has failed in Islamabad to agree on the modality of restoring the deposed judges. Now the final decision will be made by the leaders of the two mainstream parties, Mr Asif Ali Zardari and Mr Nawaz Sharif. This could be done in London, which will once again rile the TV anchors and column-writers of Pakistan no end. But more seriously, it has to be in London because Mr Sharif is there in connection with an operation his wife is undergoing there.
The decision will finally be political, which is as it should be. The “experts” were divided on the “resolution versus amendment” issue. The top leaders, however, seem agreed on restoring the old and retaining the new judges. They should now decide on how to present the case in parliament. Alas, the deadline of 12 May should be converted into the day the big decision is made to stand together as coalition partners.

Asfandyar in US for a annual pilgrimage
ISLAMABAD: Awami National Party (ANP) President Asfandyar Wali Khan is in the US to brief top officials of the Bush Administration on the government’s predominantly non-violent anti-terrorism policy of which political engagement is a vital element.
Notably, he is the first head of a ruling coalition member party to visit the US after the formation of the new government in Pakistan. The ANP president is heading efforts of the PPP-led ruling coalition to convince Americans that a home-grown policy that factors in the concerns of all parties in Pakistan, including the militants, is absolutely essential to effectively combat terrorism, it is learnt.
There was an agreement within the elected government in Pakistan that the ANP President Asfandyar Wali Khan will be Pakistan’s point man for the implementation of the post-election strategy to curb terrorism.

i have a strong feeling that even AA will loose NA55 if he does contest on PPP ticket (because of PPP’S proestablishment stance) and this will be quoted against judges cause. remember muzamil lost his seat and this they created a mole hill out of that. AA should contest as independent I believe.

lol @Malik
hehehe
news coming from inside are that nothing is going to happen on 12 May. AZ is ‘actually’ establishment and has been working on Mush agenda …thats why Mush is so quite and relaxed
what a shame AZ has been for the whole nation and more importantly for the jyalas….any way jyalas dont count they are only there to face police lathi charge, go to jail and more recently get killed….and it seems they are happy that way! sad
@Peja
My GEO link is broken I think…Could you post how you are watching Geo…That is, if you are watching it online.
why is AA running on PPP ticket in the present context? nawaz must have signalled green…?? why did zardari make it point to put down AA….in the first place? how many boats has zardari put PPP in??
@Malek
Jiyalas are only cannon fodder and for statistics purposes….”PPP has given so many sacrifices”. Yes, indeed
No other party use their members as cannon fodder as PPPML-Q do.
The fruits are (ONLY) for their bosses.
/Saqib
BB had agreed not to let AZ interfere in politics as he had caused embarrassment to BB and was the main cause of downfall of her govt both times……that is why AZ stayed in US/Dubai and did not come to Pak with BB late last year.
On finding out on her return to pakistan that she has a support among masses and she does not need Mush to help her become PM she revolted and turned against Mush/establishment…..
Mush was disappointed and so was AZ……and both have one thing in common …lust for power. BB was killed in broad daylight among thousand of her supporters??
AZ (like a loving husband - although had been living apart from BB in US) rushed to Pakistan…but remembered to bring BB’s Will with him (the will wasnt locked away anywhere/or kept with solicitors etc - so AZ didnt have a problem in locating it in a rush!)
AZ was already Mush’s/establishment’s man…..subsequently all NAB cases against him were withdrawn, SC overnight gave verdict against Degree clause and much more…because these issues were more important than Atta crisis, electricity shortages, inflation etc…. i dare not even mention the ‘minor’ judiciary issue here because it relates to many investigations apart from NRO
BB was killed (in power game)? who could be resonsible for her killing? who killed ZAB’s elder brother in broad daylight outside ZAB’s home?
Who was the biggest benefactor of all?
The question someone asked is can AA win on a PPP ticket from NA-55? Wouldn’t the lawyers even get further divided when the meaningless results of all these committees/declarations for restoration of justices are for them to see and the PCO justices are sitting in the Supreme Court on by-election day?
@dr
i tend to agree with you…AA runs the risk of alienating the hugh support he gathered for his stand on judiciary…but he can’t be blind to whats unfolding? AA and AZ disagreement is to deceive pervrt mush? nawaz is in on this??
or perhaps…being a PPPist…he is playing his cards carefully….to win on the PPP ticket…and then perhaps present himself as the natural leader of PPP instead of this AZ…by returning a foothold in Punjab to PPP) and run for PM in the next election??
hugh = huge
I mean I can almost picture Zardari sneering “See it wasn’t about the restoration as even Aitzaz lost!”
@saqib
cannon fodder and/or may be cattle fodder ……or perhaps horse fodder…..since the ‘leader of the nation’….’nelson mandella of pakistan’ ….. ‘honourable Asif Zardari Bhutto’ has a fettish for horses!!
@nota: “I mean I can almost picture Zardari sneering “See it wasn’t about the restoration as even Aitzaz lost!””
Not only that.. he will also get a “coalition partner minister” from na-55 the way things are going.
Re: AAZ being involved… I still have some faith in it.. .I think I proposed this idea a while back as well and it was shot down… (no pun intended)
..
The elections are on June 26th, right? AA has plenty of time to land a solid one on AZ’s face. The judges issue, one way or the other, will be settled by the end of May.
Imagine AA RETURNING PPP’s ticket and running as independent supported by PMLN. PPP will try to find someone to be on that ticket OR leave that ticket uncontested…..Sweet revenge…Although I would have loved it more if AZ had contested from NA 55 with Imran Khan opposing him…HA HA…how sweet that defeat would have been for AZ.
@mbokhari
ah..our politicians might as well be poker players!
but that sounds sweet to the ear..AA returning PPP ticket…:)
Just wondering how many ministers are in Pakistan and actually doing their day jobs for which they are paid handsomely. Just read Ishaq Dar and Tehmina Daultna are in UK plus handful others who are there to ’solve’ the judicial crises. Religious minister was in SA to perform umrah and hold talks with Saudis.
Do these people have anything to do in Pakistan. Have they heard about telephone, or they do they know about the existence of Pakistani Embassies. Oh ya face to face talks are so much better…Maybe we should shift Islamabad to Dubai, UK or Hawaii.
“We need to tighten our belts and take painful measures,” he remarked.
This is for the awam as for the rulers they have ordered new expandable extra large belts.
Dar spoke about the continuity of policies and said in fact, his party was the owner of the policies, which were being carried forward by the previous government although it mismanaged it quite badly.
Does this mean he will continue with the same policies. Seems strange.
“We are now taking corrective measures to put the national economy on the right track through better monitoring and supervision. “However, he stated earlier the judiciary issue was settled, the better it was for him to concentrate on his task of guiding the national economy out of troubled waters.
Dar denied that during his meeting with Shaukat Aziz he demanded his return to Pakistan to answer questions on the mismanagement of economy. He said it was up to the Senate Finance Committee to do so and mentioned that former Finance Advisor Salman Shah has appeared before the committee on being extended invitation.
Did he actually met with SA ..the evil ?

News reports: No break through in London talks:
http://www.thenews.com.pk/updates.asp?id=45201
Nothing will happen. NS should really show a finger to Zardari and part ways. Imagine if PPP had come out with a clear majority in the elections? they would have focked the whole country.
@Amir Hameed
The question is now will NS do that? Or will he find a “middle way”?
khichrhi pak rahee hai
I am afraid this is only “rope and dope” i.e. they are all waiting for the people to be nullified and they will all go on board the GHQ ship and enjoy

Secret meeting between NS & AZ
@mbokhari
I am watching GEO on sky tv.
Great all my posts are being deleted , why am I even waisting my time here? No more posts from me from now….
They are already in London and still need to do a ’secret’ meeting.
Might as well go to Mars and do their ‘negotiations’ there. Oh wait…establishment already has offices on Mars..I hear Saturn is available for really secret meetings.
i am hoping a Dema Dum Mast Qalandar bw ppp and pmln now
but i think NS will dissapiont us by accepting ppp’s package .
y he will dissapiont bc Shahbaz sharif can’t wait to become CM
i dont think pml-n can survive the shame of staying on….dama dum mast qalandar is ON! now…when will AA return his PPP ticket… ???
@kafka
shahbaz sharif is badly waiting to become CM of punjab ,,he has got this oppurtunity after almost 9 years….i think punjab govt is making NS to go ppp way
@imalik
it is possible that they drink another ‘karwah ghoont’ …i will give u that.
NS declared deadlock…
dama dam mast qalandar………..hurrraaaahhhhhhh
ppp is back to the position of 1997 when they got only 17 seats….again thanks to asif zardari……………….hurrahhhhhhhhhhhh
jeay nawaz sharif……………………..hurrrrahhhhhhhhhhh
we have to give credit to mush for one thing…that what zia couldnt do ,,mush did,….he literally destroyed ppp by making ppp his mistress.
NS interview bleep! bleep! Notori0us BIG! I love it when u call me big Poppa!
it is OFFICIAL now ………..ppp is mush’s mistress
dude come on!
Please allow me to officially send “Lakh Lanat” to Zardari! I hope moshe’ makes him his b!tch before the year is out.
Khuda barbad kary badbaKhtooN ko!
Well folks.. to all those who were saying 12 may was the real deal.. Zardari is the nausar baz, NS came home thinking _he_ had ripped him off…
We lost this fight. Let us not wallow in it too much.
We need to shut down the Remittances Tap as a pressure tactic.. anyone know how to do it?
PPP “sacrifices” reminds me of the “sacifices” of the military. In each case it is poor people laying down their lives for a fata morgana.
/Saqib
Yes, indeed AZ is a wealthy man…… in terms of laanat possessions. He must be receiving infinite numbers at the moment.
/Saqib
@TK
You don’t need to shut down the Remittances Tap as “right” people are already doing so. There was a flight of $200 million in single day from Pakistan by the money exchanger. It is estimated that over the last one week about more than one billion dollar has been “remitted” from Pakistan.
So rest assured you have nothing to do to help anyone
Nawaz Sharif has done me proud with his principled stand. It is churlish to think that the deposed and PCO judges can be treated on a par. These Dogars and Zardaris won’t enjoy it too long. Inshallah.
Breaking News: President House says we r OK with all judges restoration except CJP…..
PMLN’s tone regarding PPP is changing…. and Zardari is meeting Altaf Dadoo right after his meeting with NS…
This is getting interesting. Unfortunately, the losers will be the Awam. No progress possible on important issues..law n order, inflation, energy, education. Everything seems so stagnant.
There is nothing to be proud of yet. Let’s see how the sorry story ends.
/Saqib
@pejamistri: If you’ve been following the market, it goes up when the chances of the accord suviving are increased.. This is why I posted the stock market link the other day.
You can thank Mr. Zardari for the capital flight.. because any IDIOT, even me, can see what the hell is coming down the pipe! But not this ’sage’ Zardari. If this PPP to PPP-Q transformation was in Pakistan’s interest we’d see it reflected in the market..
So, the question is , why exactly is the capital flying out? If Zardari’s decisions are so great? I hope you weren’t implying that it’s another ’saazish’ against PPP and it’s white-knight warrior on a White unicorn fighting the epic battle of good vs evil against the establishment.
I’m talking about Getting rid of Moshe Kutyaan. That task is still unfiinished. And somehow we need to use the ex-pat muscle.. I just don’t know how small fries like me can make a difference.
@TK
“I just don’t know how small fries like me can make a difference.”
It’s not about small “fries” like us. It is about doing what we believe in.
They should be condemned at every level. They really deserve it!
/Saqib
I hope AA doesn’t run from 55 as PPP, and I hope NS takes back that seat from PPP and gives it to IK.
I’m not happy with AA playing both sides of the fence. It’s time for him to take a foking stand.
Sh!t or move!
On one hand all the lawyers boycotted the elections and now AA wants special treatment for all his sacrifices (maybe). I am not able to easily see through this move. Is it to counter AZ or is to join AZ? The latter seems most likely.
/Saqib
@Saqib: Well I agree, but I think we need to hurt the b!tches… They are going around securing high interest loans based on expected remittances… a sharp drop even for a month will bring them to senses..
The next lawyers movment should cooridnate with expat pakistani’s. We should at least start a campaign to NOT remitt for a full month.. I think an online petition that people can sign so we can show how much money is not going to Pakistan for month of May (for example) directly because of the Judiciary Issue?
put our money where our mouth is? for once?
@tk
capital flies with nawaz….
If PPP backs out.. they’re Q-lite and therefore NOT ACCEPTABLE. We’ve waited 60 years for ’saazgaar haalaat’.. This is it!
We need to do something concrete. Like not sending money, and registering that as a protest. The lawyers can use that figure as a direct indicator of how this is hurting the economy in real terms.
@Saqib
Don’t worry intense fighting is going on , There is a lot to be proud of. Establishment is on the backfoot. The judiciary question is not going to be settled as per the wishes of establishment , political forces are on the offensive , besides that political forces are moving on all fronts quickly. Baloch front is active with Mengal’s release , UN probe request is in the offing , missing person question is back and internally there is a shuffle going on in ISI and MI.
To me as long as this pressure remains on the establishment we have every reason to be proud of.
@kafka8: okay, so we should see inflows after may12 then? I’ve seen the opposite.. the markets were up every time it seemed the accord would succeed, they took a dive every time Zardari made another qalabazi.
P.S. I think capital has a short attention span (and no permanent enemies)..
@tk
no ..you got me wrong…i actually agree with you…furthermore i expect the neutral KEY-ani to step out in the light pretty soon….
@Pejamistri
I would like to believe in what you write and in fact I sincerely (once again) hope that you will prove me wrong. In that case it would be pleasure to admit a such mistake, but my brother for me it looks quite bleak
/Saqib
mush did to ppp which zia couldnt………………………mush literally destroyed ppp in just 6 months…………zia couldnt do it in 11 years
@nota: today, at lunch your ‘Sheila’ refrence clicked in for me.. (you could have just told me ya know)
@kafka8: oh okay.. because I read it as ‘the capital flies with NS in the coalition‘
my bad! I was more concerned that you may have slipped into Jiyala land just as darkness sets in.. because let me assure you.. the rainbows have never been more colorful than they are today.. and the two sparkly suns have never shone brighter in the never waning day!
P.S. what? you expected just one sun in jiyala land? no sirrreeee bob!
@Pejamistri
Don’t worry intense fighting is going on , There is a lot to be proud of. Establishment is on the backfoot.
That reminds me Muhammad Shah Rangeela’s famous words “Hunooz Dili Door Ast”. At least someone is there to lift our spirits even during these times, thanks a lot @Pejamistri.
@tk
P.S. what? you expected just one sun in jiyala land? no sirrreeee bob!
good one….
NS : Who’s tuwada daddy?
lawyers: Tusi
NS: Who’s tuwada daddy?
AZ: Tusi
Shahbaz S: Who’s tuwada daddy?
Rehman Malik : ahhhhh!! tusi whore kon!
NS : Daddy is coming for tusi!!
Mush wakes up from his bad dream shivering in fear.
1. Zardari (and BB when she was alive) has very large sums in foreign lands. These sums have dubious origins. Anytime westerners wish, they can “discover” reasons to freeze or even confiscate these assets; they can if they wish start criminal proceedings; and if they choose they can link these proceedings to aggravated money laundering as in the Swiss courts. Given the Iraq Oil for Food connection if they really want to get rough the westerners can link these sums to the “War on Terror”. They can do this to Zardari anytime.
This is why the UK and USA were and are so keen on Zardari (and BB earlier). If Pakistan is delivered fully into the hands of Zardari, then they can do what they like in Pakistan. This reason has been operative from the day BB went into self exile. For Pakistan to be delivered fully into their hands, internal points of actual or potential resistence need to be neutered. These four points of (potential) resistence are: organised political voices of the people; the establishment (currently neutered); the judiciary; and the fourth estate (the media).
Events since the elections have shown that this analysis of the imperatives of Zardari is correct. NO other explanation, be it to do with Musharaf or establishment pressure, has the force that this argument has. There is zero credibility in any pretence that Zardari manouverings have anything to do with playing a clever game against Musharaf, or that it has any relationship with strengthing institutions etc. These are mutterings of the foulest deceitfulness.
2. You do not need to have read The Prince (Machiavelli) to appreciate that a ruler (or ruling group) gains strength from either the people, or from a powerful elite (eg. the army) or from foreigners. At no point prior to BB’s untimely demise did BB or Zardari show any sign that they regarded the Pakistani electorate as a source of strength. And they did not prior to the negotiations with Musharaf, have sufficient elite backing inside Pakistan. So they had only foreigners. Two things pushed Musharaf to negotiate with BB. The first was foreign pressure, and the second was his sudden decline in popularity at home. The foreign pressure arose AFTER BB convinced the west that she was their man.
It is true that the PPP within Pakistan did see the electorate as a source of strength, but this is what made the PPP a completely distinct thing from BB/Zardari. This is why BB had to sideline the internal leadership of the PPP (as with Aitzaz Hussain), and this is why (probably with expert American advice) Zardari totally subverted the Pakistan-based PPP leadership during the period of shock immediately following BB’s untimely death by assasination. M A Fahim did not read this game at all, to his cost. This remains why the Pakistani PPP is being completely restructured by Zardari. When he has finished there will be no internal centers within PPP that have sufficient popular support to resist him, if he succeeds.
3. The west has been at pains to make clear that they do not like the Nawaz league. This is because that group’s leader has genuine and deep popular support internally in Pakistan (the two-thirds majority in parliament did not come from nowhere). In addition the PML-N leadership appears not to be subject to blackmail as Zardari is. Hence even when he made bleating noises in support of the “War on Terror” shortly before the elections, the West ignored him. This has pushed the PML-N into a unified block dependent only on the popular will, whether they like it or not.
The exiled leadership of each of the PPP and PML-N returned from abroad to a party with a set of internal power centers that had gained mass roots while they were in exile. The difference is that in the PML-N the leadership and the power centres depend on each other, while in the PPP Zardari must neutralise the internal power centres if, as he must, he is to be trustworthy to the foreigners.
4. From the foreigner’s viewpoint the lawyers struggle must be defeated first because it is an attempt to strengthen the judiciary which is a potential centre of internal resistance. Secondly the lawyers movement has acted as an unprecedented focus for political expression and mobilisation inside Pakistan. This has strengthened organised political voice which is a point of potential resistance.
5. It is interesting that a number of writers in this site systematically downplay the significance of the external role in the present game. Some of them even deny such a role at all. This is part of a much larger subversion of the fourth estate.
6. Musharaf has made himself into a hate figure because of his services to outsiders; the military even under Kayani kills without compunction their own people for outsiders.
7. With Zardari’s and the PPP’s help, the foreigners are now set to win a victory over every aspect of Pakistani life unless we ordinary Pakistanis can stop them. The stakes for us could not be higher.
@Saqib
This battle did not start on 9th March 2007, you see you are looking for a quick victory , but unfortunately it is a long war , but consists of short battles. I don’t know how long you have been following this war , but I have been in this battle since 80’s.
I can appriciate your enthusiasm and furstration. However I can tell you there won’t be a quick victory. There were times of loosing hope in 80’s and 99-2004 , but you know we loose the battles but we never loose the war.
If it is difficult for you to understand, its Okay , however as long as you keep supporting the political leaders (NS, IK , AZ and many many more) who are standing against the enemy , the hope will remain alive
AZ is “standing against the enemy” ?
looks more like he’s “bending over for ‘the enemy’ .. 20-dolla-h0 style!”
@NoHypocrisy: interesting write up.. I’ll have to read it again before commenting…
@savage: heheh.. hunooze restoration door ast!
right on!
Has anybody found a few things amiss from Ayaz Amir’s usually poignant analysis?
He is praising the coalition and downgrading the importance of the judges issue.
I think the Coalition has turned into an Axis of beGhairti
@TK
I would be grateful for any comments, especially constructive criticism, from your good self or anyone else.
@mobkhari
“It is not the deposed judges whose stature is being diminished. No, they stand tall. But by indulging in a game of prevarication–at times baffling, at times downright cynical–it is the coalition partners who are reducing themselves in the eyes of the Pakistani people. There is still time to retrieve the situation but not if paladins like Commissar Malik call the shots. ”
ayaz amir
sounds pretty sane to me???
@mbokhari: I saw that.. and I did a double take.. I was going to post it here but didn’t get a chance..
I find this drastic change in the tone, tenor and attitude of “the democratic forces” rather peculiar! (not to mention weird and slightly disgusting)
I guess Zardari and Mush dropped the gauntlet and the democratic forces ‘blinked’ as it were? AA is mellowing down the lawyer’s movement on the other side
so it looks like things are going to fizzle out… (either that or they know something is in the works which is making them now present the coalition as a ‘good thing’)
???? more questions than answers.
@NoHypocrisy: Sure.. but first you tell us what was the nick you were posting under previously?
@NoHypocrisy: BTW, I did read Zardari’s game (MAF may not have) .. I knew he was stabbing him in the back and was making a promise he wasn’t going to keep. Maybe MAF also knew this.. but really what were his options?
anyhoo.. I still have to read it..
@TK
My only previous nick was NoHypocracy - a somewhat oblique reference which I have now converted to the current different but more obvious one.
@pejamistri
Like @Saqib, I really hope that you will prove me wrong but since the 80s what has changed? and how the establishment is on the backfoot today? Either you are over-optimistic or seeing something that none of us are seeing.
Isn’t Zardari Moshe’s b!tch? Isn’t he taking dictation from the US? Isn’t is corrupt? why should people, with the exception of bind jiyalas, support him? please give me any reason or logic for supporting the corrupts like the Zardari.
@TK & @mbokhari
, but trust me things are much better than you are thinking. Let me tell you they (politicians) are fighting the battle in the field , we are standing out of the field and just watching it
No pun , but I am amused with your furstration.
@Amir Hameed
The biggest change is that now at least people are talking about the wrong doings of establishment and the politicians are standing together and last but not the least judges/lawyers are standing with the public not with dictator/establishment.
How many people had the courage in 80’s to even talk about the establishment (army) let alone come on tv and discuss the missing person case so openly. How many people had courage to show the location of ISI torture cell , remember Ojhari Camp ??
@Kafka & TK
The first statement from NS after winning the coalition was that they would give Mushi his walking papers and restore judiciary. Then came the Murree accord. My point is, the sole raison d’etre of this coalition is the judges issue. Believe me, NS got votes simply on this issue. PMLN even went as far as having a big old oath taking ceremony.
And now, once they are in government, I don’t want them holding the sanctity of the coalition higher and above the cause of judiciary.
Either Ayaz Amir has started enjoying the prestige of living in the parliamentary lodges or has gone soft in the head a little….That old bugger, I kinda like him….He, with his quoting Cicero and Aristophanes and invoking the Olympian Pantheon of gods…And now, even when quoting Voltaire, he thought it necessary to inject a very judicious (na’ouzubillah) in there. Nobody could have taken it to mean it was Ayaz’ opinion….But to go and Bowdelerize Voltaire…Just to appease the munafiq fatwa-thumping beardo-weirdos?
Not much like Ayaz Amir. Been reading him for the last 4 years….You haven’t gone all “maslihat” on us Ayaz! Say it ain’t so!
@peja: OK, either you admit that you are privy to goings on that we are not privy to and I’ll believe you, or I’ll call you on your over-optimistic (near-orgasmic shall I say?) predictions..
Quite a few people are freaking out here, and you better not run away and disappear when Zardari announces he wants to move in with Musharraf his Gay Lover.
@Hypocrisy: hehe .. for a sec I thought your ID was Hypocracy.. but when I looked it said Hypocracy.. ..hmm .. anyhooo.. I tend to agree with your analysis.. but what is the ‘davaa daroo’ of this situation?
is no. 7 your conclusion? or do you have any rememdies in mind? I’m desperately looking for ideas that don’t involve me checking into Jiyala Land.
@mobkhari
i thought that insertion of ‘na’ouzi..’ was rather tongue in cheek.
@TK
But I trust you.
As I said I enjoy when a person is angry about politician X and loves politician Y , however you make me afraid when you get disappointed be Aitzaz Ahsan, Nawaz Sharif , Ayaz Amir and every politician and become hopless. That is when I write and try to make things clear.
I’ll be with you when (if) the elections are held in december 2008 , and people vote for “ONLY” Nawaz Sharif (although I wanted to vote for IK this time). But once you get disappointed by all the politicians that is time I would prefer putting you in my ignore list
Reminded me of that old Joni Mitchell number. (really sad & sweet)
———————————–
After another Karwa Ghoont Nawaz Sharif sings:
But now its just another show
You leave em laughing when you go
And if you care, dont let them know
Dont give yourself away
Ive looked at Power from both sides now
From give and take, and still somehow
Its Power’s illusions I recall
I really dont know Power at all
Tears and fears and feeling proud
To say I love you right out loud
Dreams and schemes and circus crowds
Ive looked at life that way
But now old friends are acting strange
They shake their heads, they say Ive changed
Well somethings lost, but somethings gained
In living every day
Ive looked at life from both sides now
From win and lose and still somehow
Its life’s illusions I recall
I really dont know life at all
@HypoCrisy: Sorry, jumped the gun.
“These are mutterings of the foulest deceitfulness.”
I could not agree more. I have also the same idea bout AAZ (Are you pulling my leg?) being “selected” for the job.
But I do have some reservations about the concept of “delivering PK” in the hands of Zardari and therefore by proxy, to the foreigners.
The way Zardari is behaving and bumbling along.. he’s not gonna have a smooth ride.. and if there is _anything_ essential to this premise it would be that Zardari conducts himself in a manner such that the ‘many headed beast’ is not roused to a fever pitch.
What he’s doing is leading exactly to that… so how is Pakistan going to be delivered to Zardari, if the legitimacy needed alongside that deliverance is not there or is quickly evaporated by the actions of one Mr. Zardari?
more later.
@Peja:
—
The biggest change is that now at least people are talking about the wrong doings of establishment
—
And let me relate to you what is happening to the SINGLE PERSON who started this avalanche of change, Iftikhar M. Chaoudhry, the Honorable Chief Justice of Pakistan. He is being nickle and dimed by a bunch of too recently acquitted politicians just so they can cavort with the very same establishment.
Neither Last, nor least! First and Foremost my friend.. Alpha and the Omega in the History of Pakistan.
P.S. I’m surprised I’m not on this ‘ignore list’ already.. btw.. poor @DR had a nervous breakdown today after you told him he was going on the IL .. must be more powerful thing than getting on the ECL..
In any case, you did not say whether or not you are privy to the “inside scoop” of this battle you keep mentioning… I only asked because you implied that you somehow were. I don’t think so btw (FWIW).
@tk
Khel Khatam Paisa Hazam
NS was replaced by Chohdary pervez and now he is replaced by asif zardari.
The power remains in ghq and white house.
@TK
, perhaps I was wrong.
I actually thought that you will defend me yesterday when he said I am paindoo
Sorry about that.
BTW someone asked my about the “ignore list” how I a user can be put in a ignore list. well I actually use a self-modified version of RSSOwl an RSS reader , which allows me to put an id in the ignore list , and I never see the comments from that id. I use this because sometimes the comments distract me.
@peja: who called u paindoo? gtp? sorry I was distracted yesterday.. Oh you mean DR? I don’t know why u tangle with half the ppl you do my friend
I thought it was today.. but someone just freaked out when you said you’ll put them on your Ignorelist .. I think it was @dr..
Actually it was I who asked about it, I can’t see an RSS Feed around here.. maybe yours uses default.. mine fires up browser and ‘ignoring’ users.. forget it… I have to maintain it myself on a notepad with each users offense and date of offense.

If some one think that our politicians are anti-establishment forces then he lives in fool’s paradise.
They are all part of one group.There is no diffrence.
Only Faces are changed acc to circumstances,first it was NS then pervez elahi and now asif zardari.
army and white house are employers and politicians are there employee…whoever doesnt get selected jions the ranks of opposition
@premium users,
Please test the following video and let me know if that is working for you or not:
Insight with Javed Malik - 9 May 2008
Thanks,

You know what would be great?
NS resigns from cabinet in center and leaves Punjab government.
Next Step: Table an impeachment resolution in the NA.
1. This will force the PPP to decide which side of the fence it is on.
2. If it agrees, Mushi goes. (little chance)
3. PPP defends Moshe and is buried with him in the process…
Now, if only I had Nawaz Sharif’s phone number.
@admin: I tested and the vid works .. skipping works till the end.
@mbokhari: I think they might end up doing just that.. just ask General Manager to call Nawaz Sharif and convey your plan.
I hope AA also quits PPP and joins PTI and or PML-N … Haroon-ur-Rashid nailed it right on the head. BB could have handled it, cracks in Zardari’s Leadership ability are showing already.
I think I ran around in circiles and waved my hands a lot about exactly the same thing a while back.. but I was told by somebuddy.. (I’m not saying whooooo).. summbuddy.. that it was all part of an intricate and devious plan…

@mbokhari
looks like NS can not do that, even to move the resolution they need support from PPP
47. Removal [22][or impeachment] of President.
[22A](1) Notwithstanding anything contained in the Constitution, the President may, in accordance with the provisions of this Article, be removed from office on the ground of physical or mental incapacity or impeached on a charge of violating the Constitution or gross misconduct.
(2) Not less than one-half of the total membership of either House may give to the Speaker of the National Assembly or, as the case may be, the Chairman written notice of its intention to move a resolution for the removal of, or, as the case may be, to impeach, the President; and such notice shall set out the particulars of his incapacity or of the charge against him.]

“Has anybody found a few things amiss from Ayaz Amir’s usually poignant analysis?”
This Ayza Amir traveled with CJ all around Pakistan and was sitting most of time very close to him on stage, CJ once praised him by mentioning his name on his speech. But throw some bones and you will see their real selves.
@Peja,
Whatever is happening in the civil society now is more like a silent or semi-silent revolution and the politicians has got nothing to do with this situation; actually the politicians have done nothing but to slow down this movement to the extent that it is now harming this cause.
I would term it an awakening after being in coma for too long. Those who brag that there were lawyers from PPP and PML-N who gave boost to the CJP’s movement are completely wrong because those lawyers were supporting him as their CJ and had no political motive behind it. The politicians simply saw an opportunity and jumped on the bandwagon and nothing more.
I would have given kudos to the politicians if they had actually done something and not just delivering the rhetoric. The politicians have (seemingly) gotten back together not for the masses but for their own sake and survival. The only lesson that they seemed to have learned from the past is that they are no match to the establishment if they keep digging each others graves.
This is the historic moment that they could have captured but all you need is to look at the obvious signs and they will pretty much tell you the whole story. Qayyum is still there; Zalil-uddin-haramzada is still active, Naik, Rehman Malik, Haqqani. Do you see any sign of change or any ray of light here?

Totally agree with you, politicians have done nothing except supporting Army and in return scavenges their leftovers, to see the glimpses of their stinky inside here is good read.
It is so laughable that army generals need bulletproof vehicles for their safety.

Army generals need bullet proof cars becasue in reality these are “drawing room generals” who specialize in nation-conquering and nothing more.

Regarding Ayaz Amir, Couple of weeks back I had come across Too popular for his own good by him that had upset me so much that I nearly shot shot this email to him:
Wow!
The last line of your piece titled “Too popular for his own good” (”Whoever said politics is for soft-hearts?”) was certainly a kicker. I have seen spin but yours takes the cake. Yes, certainly to sell “bayghariti” as being “strong-harted” is expected from PML(Q) / PPP / MQM/ MMA but PML(N)? And that too from the best they have to offer (a guy I respected by the name of Ayaz Amir?) . Tell me , sir: Is your loosing the “soft-heart” due to your being a journalist (I would never have taken you to be of the yellow variety) or being an ex-army guy (it won’t be a surprise then) or being a politician (no surprise there either). Or is it a combo of the three? (That must give you a really STRONG heart).
“Whoever said politics is for soft-hearts?” Indeed.
“Bahre zulmat ghorhe dhoh-rha diye ham naiN”
What is wrong? Maybe our politicians have “honest” intentions (I don’t believe so), but they are not ready to make sacrifices. They are not ready to let heads roll - nor their own or the heads on other side. If the politicians wants to play on both sides of the wicket, then I am afraid the case cannot be won with their help
What is needed now?
The APDM should prepare themselves for a finale. They need to rout these thugs and thieves. They should prepare on every level and for every eventuality including AA quitting the leadership of the lawyers movement - hopefully by own will or he should be shown the door. He will soon be in the wrong camp and can thus be trusted.
PML-N
I am afraid that they are also playing games. I have been writing about this for a while, and now some of their smaller fishes has started to test the sentiments of the nation. They should be condemned just as ferociously as we have been condemning the “bakra” party PPPP. We will not tolerate any deviation from the promises made to the nation.
I repeat a punjabi saying:
“Man harami te hujtaN ter” i.e. they never had the intention of fulfilling their promises.
Suggestion to PPPMLNQ:
If you are not able to do the job or you feel you don’t have the guts, then make IK the leader of group of judges with unblemished character. Let them give a binding verdict on the issue, then you will see results according to the wishes of the nation, inshallah. He is a man ready to make sacrifices (IMO). This suggestion will off course never find a way to the leadership, that is why we should be prepared for a long and dogged fight!
