This matter will not be resolved. PPP will keep on dragging it. It’s not in their(read zardari’s) interest to restore judges. They have gained so much through the NRO that they wouldn’t want to compromise their status in any way possible. Restoration if happens would be at the cost of either its freedom, legitimacy, scope, or any other sort of shackles that will see to it that they challenge the government in any case. That will not be acceptable to either the judges or the lawyers.

Spot on!!! There is absolutely no way out except for a revolution. The current filth in our politics has to be completely flushed down the toilet and replaced with new faces.

These new faces have to be from those who really believe in the rule of law. Lawyers and judges, journalist have shown that they still have a moral conscience. They need to be a part of that revolution.

But this realization is not there. People still believe that the current system can provide the solutions they seek. They need to be thinking on some other lines. The experiences have taught us alot. The current system is corrupt and it only serves corruption.

But talking of revolution is easy. When it comes to walk the walk, then we require a group of people who are completely dedicated to eradicate the corrupt system. They should be prepared to give up their lives if needed. But the first thing is to have this realizarion that a revolution is only way forward.

agree with your points but in my opinion i do not think the masses are ready for a revolution.

what a shame. i think PML N should withdraw from the government and plan for the next elections with APDM. IK should campaign in urban sind(karachi), NWFP and in some punjab areas. In balochistan they should get mr Achakzayie. plus qazi’s religious support in nwfp. they can make a grand ruling coalition.

as far as ppp, mqm and pmlq is concerned they can go and f**k themselves.

The masses aren’t always ready for anything. They have to be made ready. Ordinary people talk of revolution but they dont know how to proceed or they are not willing to take the initiative or as you put they are not ready. But this is exactly what a revolutionary movement has to do. It has to tell the masses that without them acting, nothing will change.

If they see in that movement the sincerity the masses want to see then they will follow them.
