i hope the courts will also release all the thousands of poor souls who are innocent and been kept in pakistani dungeons. who says crime does not pay for the rich and powerful.

I believe this is a very balance topic. Every Pakistani has these questions in his mind and need to be cleared. By the way, the first part should try to prove the Virtue (Innocence) of the accused and vengeance by the hidden hands/ political rivals. Unfortunately, second part addresses is the depth of our culture.

The people who made these cases against AZ later on asked for his pardon….this shows their bias in making in these cases………the question that should be asked is…..whether any of the cases were non-bailable….No….then why was he kept in jail for 8 years……the people who talk about justice and NRO very conviniently forget that getting bail in a criminal case is a fundamental right of an accused…..did they ever raise a voice in 8 years of AZ jail time……..am sure no….

I can only share what I do know for a fact and here it is-
The case against BB and Zardari in Switzerland is based on kick backs ( money) obtained from Swizz companies that were doing business with the govt of Pakistan during the BB govt. The Swizz banking laws which are very strict when it comes to the issue of privacy stood between the desire of the govt of Pakistan in getting the financial info.
During this time period and even after Nawaz Shareef came to power the exact financial info was not allowed by the Swizz Govt to the Pakistan Govt. It was during the ist part of Musharraf when NAB was under Gen. Amjad that an opneing came about. Ayub Afridi- the well known heroin smuggler was arrested and taken to the USA. Following that the name of Zardari came on the list of DEA of the USA and this info became available to NAB which asked the SWIZZ govt about the issue of international drug smuggling and money laundering and it was then that the Swizz govt asked the DEA either to confirm or reject the info about Zardari. The info was confirmed and thus the Swizz made the finance of the Bhutto and Zardari available to the courts and thus the conviction that resulted in the Swizz courts. The recent withdrawl of the case by the Musharraf regime as a part of NRO cannot change the fact that they were convicted and their case was on apeal.
The other issue which is often ignored by the supporters of PPP’s political leadership is the tremendous accumulation of money and properties all over the world by BB and Zardari and where that came from. Regardless of how corrupt anyone else might be- the issue that has to be dealt with is the political effects of this specific corruption on the future of Pakistan.
Just imagine we have a KINGMAKER ( Zardari) leader of Pakistan- a nuclear power whose name is-( or has been ) on the list of the most powerful international Drug Enforcement Agency of the sole super power . Think what power it gives to the sole superpower as to what happens in Pakistan and it’s politics.

people of Pakistan are starving while Mr 10% hits the lottery big time. all his money back plus the chance to steal 10 times more money than he did last time. this is BB’s gift to Pakistan. good riddance to the corrupt beatch, but she has left behind her the likes of 10%, rehman malik, hussain haqqani and naek.
and yet some people want to call her a “shaheed”. shes a martyr of power and money, if you must call her that. thats the only cause she fought for, and thats what she died for. if it wasnt for the vultures that she has left behind to rule us, i would have been relieved that she is dead. but one dies and leaves a whole bunch of focking vultures to eat whatever is left of this poor country, what a shame.
Forgive and forget everything about Zardari
Forget all the story of a deal between Musharraf and Zardari / BB
Forgive and release Kashmir Singh
Forget about dead bodies coming from India of Pakistani prisonors
Forgive Sarabjit Singh even if you have to forgive all waiting to be hanged
Forget the judgments of superior courts that ordered those to be worthy of death
Forget about “Constitutional Package” , just Presidential order to release Srabjeet
Forget and forgive MQM for whatever he did on MAy 12th 2007 and April 9th 2008
Forget and Forgive those who looted 450 Billion in KArachi through Safwan Ullah (MQM Minister)
Forget and forive those who lost the files of corruption of 450 billion Karachi corruption
Forget that promise was made in Murree declaration (AZ said that was only a political statement nothing more nothing less)
BUT
NEVER FORGET OR FORGIVE DR QADEER KHAN’s CRIME; HE MADE PAKISTAN A NUCLEAR STATE.

I dont understand why all the ministers are after the topic of restoration of judges. All the anchors are asking same questions to every ministers.
This is absolutly wrong. All the ministers and all the anchors are making fool to us (awam)
The anchors should ask the questions to the respective ministers according to their department.
For example;
Minister of Power: question should be what you have done since you became a minister and what is the future short term planning.
Minister of Food and Agriculture; Why is the shortage of the food in the market or why it is expensive, How to solve the problem and when do you think you can resolve it and give us the deadline.
If the anchor ask short term planning, it will be very good, otherwise the minister will tell us Inshallah in 5 years time we will do this and that.
If you keep on asking these types of questions to the ministers, it will be a check on them and they will do something for their respective departments, other wise all the ministers will remain quite, take salary, enjoy their life and wait for the resoration of the judges.
God help us
He and his family have suffered more than he has deserved for whatever wrong doings he might have been involved in. He is the only politician who has served more than 11 years in prison that too at the peak of his youth and family life. Who else has spent that much time in prison? You accuse him of corruption what about Admiral Mansur and scores of other military officials who plundered millions but we never hear about them? They were not put into prison but in Army messes…. He could have evaded all for a deal but he remained committed and dedicated to his party and spouse, ……To be honest for a man of Honor like him its hard to believe he could be Mr. Ten Percent.
Nobody talks about the big goons of Punjab who have plundered many banks and have got loans of billions of rupees written off and were not prisoned for any of their acts but everybody has an objection to Mr. Zardari’s acquittal in cases that were framed and do not have any factual basis after thorough and in depth investigations of staunch rivals like Nawaz Sharif and Musharaf.
He should be given a chance in his mission of saving Pakistan because he and his family have suffered the most from this system along with millions of ordinary Pakistanis and at the least he seems honest in his pledge.
