Firing Reported on AAJ TV
AAJ TV is reporting firing on their van after they left from the Rawalipindi Bar Council meeting.
Aaj TV coverage team faced wild Firing at Dhok Hafiz here today. According to Aaj news when coverage team reached the traffic signal two motorcyclists asked the driver to stop the van but the driver did not do that.
After this, motorcyclists opened fire at the coverage van. Aaj TV reported that there were no casualties, The assailants were caught by police. Watch video.

AAJ TV is blowing this story which is totally unnecessary. There is no reason given as why this might have happened. There is nothing “news worthy” in todays news out of Pakistan and AAJ TV is using this story to feed their wires.
In a country where tens of innocent people r dying without reason, this is just a tip on the Walls Cornetto…….

Blame it on the crook Rehman Malik and Salman Taseer the crook no 2 and the biggest crook Zardari. They wanted the media to blame Nawaz Sharif since it happened within the punjab’s jurisdiction. It back fired.

MQM is taking advantage of the situation. Zardari is a crook, but not crooked enough to deal with MQM. As a matter of fact no party including Jamaat’s intelligence wing can predict their hideous agenda.
Solution is, direct and merciless military action against them. Hang the mafia leaders and their cohorts, if you want Pakistan a place to live.

MQM would target Talat Hussain but wouldn’t do it in Rawalpindi. They cannot operate in Punjab so openly moreover their planning is very strong,they wouldn’t get caught like this. Yeh kaam kuchay dimagh ne kiya hai and MQM is not kucha.
I hope whoever is behind it must be punished.

well, I’ll also say that don’t jump the gun, I’m not the fan of MQM, in fact a big critic but still wait for the offical statement.
They mentioned about a political party, and the incidence occured in Rawalpindi, so from where MQM came there any way don’t under-estimate that doggy Rehman Malik.
I won’t be surprised if PPP which according to Rehman Malik is ‘establishment’ now behind it, especially it could be a response to Talalt Hussain tune, and their permanent logo ‘ Free Judiciary, When’.
I read somewhere MQM is seriously thinking not potray theirself Anti-Lawyer and Iftikhar Choudary ANYMORE bcoz of their lame duck dad Musharraf allegedly.

this has rehman malik and co written all over it, just read on geo news that the Constitutional package enters completion phase. they probably did this so the package does not get negative views from media.

It is very disturbing news and should be given courage. Terrorizing
media with firing must be condemned in the strongest possible terms.

I think though we cant blame MQM without any proof yet why not think in this way that MQM has done it because in Karachi they would have been accused first but in Pindi they have made us to think (for a while) that MQM may not be behind it (tactical move).
Secondly as the guy reporting said that a political party is behind it so what other party it could be? I cant thinkone.

BTW I do agree that MQM ghundas usually are more concrete in their planning plus I totally object the idea of naming them without any evidence. If you look at the guy who was caught, he looks like a “kachi umar” as mentioned by some 1.

Our journalists should grow a spine and stop acting like idiots. These kind of incidents happen all the time in Pakistan, probably some robbery attempt or something.
If the establishment really wanted send a message to media then there are much better ways like showing up at Talat Husseins house or at the office.

Mush did it. He sent two individuals from the intelligence agencies and told them to go shoot at TV vans. As reported in the news, Mush has nothing better to do these days and is found playing mostly bridge with his friends or enjoying the new Nitendo Wii that he got from his grandsons. This is the most intense mission he has commanded since Lal Masjid..
NJ and MM said that it was same place where PMLN were attacked few weeks ago. Talat also some political links (without saying their names) of gang who did it, not only that he said that Police were not ready to file and FIR. Aaj also reported that common people standing there arrested the culprit not the police.

I was really shocked to hear a statement like this. for MQM or a mafia supporter, this could be ‘blowing out of proportion’ but for any other party, this ought to be a defined as a big big incident. A mafia who has got the guts to demonstrate its strength IN FRONT of the media is not ‘blowing out of proportion’.
It is very obvious that no casualtie was meant in this Attack.
Otherwise maybe one could have been left unharmed but all three of them Totally Unscathed -NEH!!!! but ye do not know.

The story appears to be completely fabricated and we have to wait and see what is the motive behind it. No one was injured when Aaj crew was attacked and the so called the “shooter ” so comfortably handed over his arms and presented himself for arrest. May be again it was a conspiracy by President Musharaf and muslim league Q…. Aaj TV can do a better job in producing a scenario like this, at least make it look real.
