I was watching Talat Hussain show for May 21st, it was interesting but I have some questions. Law Minister Punjab kept insisting that President Musharaf should be punished for violating article six. He may have short memories, if Musharaf violated article six then Mr. Nawaz Sharif violated article six at least twice. He went to Ghulam Ishaq Khan then President of Pakistan and persuaded him to dismiss the elected government of Benazir Bhutto and he succeeded, he also violated article six when he tried to be declared Ameer-ul-momineen for life. You do not pick and choose, every one that violated article 6 should be punished.

PPP is even worse than Q league, they had better spokesmen but this PPP lot does not know what to say except give evasive answers to complete the time, Latif Khopra (what a shiny and empty head he has) looked so pathetic and not even once he looked convincing.

In order to prevent future coups, we have to to excersize the existing laws to punish the culprits. Article six is very clear and is needed to be exerize on Mush. He has violated this article twice and above all he has admitted to his crimes. THERE’S NO AMBIGUITY ON THIS ISSUES.

I agree fully with Irfaan Siddique, that our elected leaders have no will to the job they were elected to do. I am disappointed in the leadership of PPP. They are a buch of cowards and Mush colaborators. They have lied to the nation to garnish their votes and now they have taken the U-TURN.

FYI: ANP came out today against Punjab Govt. giving full protocol to CJ Iftikhar borrowing Mush/Zard/Khota/ (and all other p!gs) line that “it is politicizing the issue”.

well ANP`s mysterious silence on this issue indicates that they are with PPP and also do not wanna restore Judiciary..well in 60 years ANP is leading partner of NWFO Govt. first time and they have a mental blockage that if system is distorted by Musharraf etc. then we will lose our Govt.

Second Asfand Wali Khan met Americans on number of occassions and what he is discussion there apart from NWFP situation?

I do not wanna say this but every priority has its own agenda and from 6o years ANP has three main agendas

1) change the name of province
2) stop construction of kala bagh dam
3) Bash Punjab whenever possible

ANP is defeated time and again in NWFP when they try to become over clever ..and ok if they wanna stand with PPP on Judges issue then I must say that voters in NWFP are very very mature and they vote on issues and ANP will lose its support and Asfand wali cant get away by giving statements of “politicizing ” etc.

why ANP was part of that struggle after 9th March , if this is not political issue .everyone knows that ANP workers lost their lives in karchi on 12th May ….so at the moment ANP is trying to make big coalation partner PPP and US happy just to save their Govt.

I dont know how can the new ammendments in the Pak Constitution will help to stop Army Gnrls from taking over in the future and stop the Judges from not endosing their acts. As Talat said, they don’t consult The Constitution before doing that!
People dont even care about the Book that gives the constitution for our lives that is The Qur’an! They do take its name respectfully and kiss it hundreds of times before putting it back on the top shelf. But when it comes to daily life activities we don’t even consult it in our matters.
If we have such an attitude towards our Holy Book then who is scared of breaking the man made constitution!!!

I am from Punjab … and have been supporting PML-N
for a long time (supporting means that I vote for them)
and reason is probably I saw my dad supporting them.
So I might be prejudiced about this, but can someone
explain why people support PPP ?? I mean, cant you

i am from NWFP and i love PPP because i believe the leadership will never disappoint me and they never did. Whenever there was a hard time faced by either country or the Party our leadership was there to face it and thats what a leader means, not like other co….wards who cant bare 11 months jail and left the country leaving most of their party in jails.I remember that day when my PML friends where disappeared and i was looking for them, and they did not faced me for ages.Our leadership never ashamed me in front of anyone. We are proud of them.

PPP leadership always have the vision to see the future and take take the country ahead in this challenging world.

As far as roti kapra makan is concerned you cant understand it by sitting in the comfort of your home in Lahore Islamabad Karachi etc, you have to go to rural areas where major part of our population is.

let down his supporters when he left jail. But at the same time, you are saying
your leadership never let you down . So you are saying that what they are
doing right now is making you a proud PPP supporter ?? This constitutional
package is being made to change the fate of Pakistani people and will change
