hope we go down memory lane…and list the valid and political cases against zardari…point being to bring to light…why NRO is such a big issue for the preson of zardari..and why we should not let it go so easily.

this will free ppp from zardari…and give them a fresh start too.

similarly, ns and his accumulations should be put into perspective.

and lastly…and surely most importantly a thorough accountability of retd. gen. and their assets.

all of them should be exposed with an openomg tjat should they return atlast half of the loodted..coupled with a public admission of wrongdoing…..a new beginning is possible.

very naieve…i grant you…but these are desperte times.

    “Nawaz Sharif (out of Pakistan)
    Imran Khan (out of Pakistan)
    Qazi Hussain (out of Pakistan)”

    Let me add
“Shahbaz Sharif (in Pakistan but now that he is CM, refusing to join under the false pretense of “security reasons”)

What a shame, indeed. And keep in mind that ALL of these LEADERS are out of the country for no other reason than to AVOID being a part of the long march……..

This is not the 1st time, these leasers (except NS & SS, they were forced to exile) were all participating in so called “APC” in London when Jamia Hafsa issue was at its peak and once the bloodshed was over they all tried to “behti ganga may hath dholain”.

Imran Khan would be back and join the ‘long march’ !!!!

Imran files papers with UK police against Altaf
    Monday, June 09, 2008
    By Mumtaz Alvi

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has formally filed papers with the London police against the Muttahidda Qaumi Movement leadership for its alleged terrorist role in Pakistan. However, the police have sought more documentary proof before approaching a court for initiation of legal proceedings, a senior party leader revealed here on Sunday.

Talking to The News, Media Adviser to Imran Khan Zahid Hussain Kazmi said that the party leader had submitted important papers, prepared by a legal team in London, to the London police against Altaf Hussain and other MQM leaders. He said Imran Khan was adopting the legal course from a position of strength and was quite hopeful of positive results.

“The submission of papers is a positive start, as after papers are filed against any individual, group or party, the police then go to the court for further action,” he replied in response to a question.

Omer Cheema, PTI Information Secretary, told this correspondent that in view of his engagement in London, Imran Khan would now be back on June 11. Instead of landing in Karachi, where he could not go since May 12 last year, due to the ban imposed twice by the former PML-Q government and once by the caretaker set-up, Imran would arrive in Islamabad.

Earlier, he was scheduled to return on June 08 and land in the port city, where he was to address some political gatherings. But now, his most important activity after homecoming would be to welcome the participants of the lawyers’ movement on June 13 here.

Imran Khan had filed an application with the British police against Altaf Hussain last year. But the Scotland Yard, Omar Cheema said, could not make progress in this context as the previous government did not cooperate with it.

Long March and the Political Leadership.

Poor Doctor Shahid Masood as usual begging for the missing pieces in the puzzle. He acts innocent, like a child. I do not understand why GEO has given him the responsoibility to call all of the top people and ask them embarassing questions. We see dozens of such shows not only from Pakistan, but from other countries inclding India, no anchor shows his inability or lack of experience to phrase these questions to their invited guests.

Please have a look at the status of our top creme of political leaders, who have conveniently deserted the field of action ( 10-13-June 2008 )
because they fear things may get ugly and hotter.

    Nawaz Sharif (out of Pakistan)
    Imran Khan (out of Pakistan)
    Qazi Hussain (out of Pakistan)
MQM Chief always out of Pakistan , heheheh with blessings of (,,,,)
Please do not forget Asif Zardari has also extended his stay in Saudi.

Major players keeping safe distances in case something goes wrong
after the long March. If lawyers achieve success, then each one of them will start landing on Pakistani soil, and claim thier contribution towards the Sacrifices lawyers community has been making. It is a disgusting & shameful behavior on part of so called politicians.

It is so pathetic to note that the poor, starving, deprived and depressed population of Pakistan is left on the total mercy of these corrupt politicians.

It has become so evident now that international conspiracies for dismembering Pakistan are progressing slowly according to a plan set out by USA-Israel-India. Pakistan has been weakining from the inside for a long time. There is no feeling or pride of ” National Unity ” to be seen from Karachi to Khyber, except in Armed Forces of Pakistan.

It is quite possible that USA-Israel pull a fast one on Pakistan prior to taking care of Iran. India and current Afghanistan puppet regime will be all out to help this agenda of international conspirators against Pakistan.

GOD forbid Pakistan can only be damaged from the inside and not from the out side. Poeple of Pakistan have to wake up now before the rug is pulled out under their feet. GOD does not help those who do do not help themselves.

The lawyer civil society movement has lost my trust since it got ex servicemen support. people like Gen Chishti etc are big criminals. Those Gens were involved in murder of ZA Bhutto and hundreds of poor Sindhis durring MRD movement.
Even people like Gen Kiani (jamshed) are equally responsible for state of affairs we are confronting as nation.
Military seems to bail themselves out by putting all the blame on one person Musharaf. Military as institute specially intelligence agencies are the main culprit of destruction to Pakistan or expected disintegration.

It might make a difference that all the top cream is not in the country at this moment, but we all are trying to forget that “Long March” is not about these top leaders, it is about independence of Judiciary and CJ Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudry and these factors would be there.

When CJ reached LHE from ISB in 26 hours, non of these leaders played any significant role historical journey.

What I fear is that Zardari’s trick of delaying judges issue is paying off… Ayaz Amir’s tone is evidence to it.

So should we say judges would never be restored??????????

Zardari is scared due to NRO

i think this is absoluty wring,

Zardari can easily cut a deal with nawaz sharif that he will through Mush out and reinstate Musharraf and in return Nawaz and other will make NRO as a part of the constitution.

    its simple.

Nawaz need Ch Iftikhar so that he could pardon him in plan hijacking case thats the bottom line.

While IK and APDM who boycotted the electtion now want to ‘Park their Car’ in some one else place!

they dnt know they come across Zardari And PPP who know more politcs than them combine together!

Beacause the STUPID AWAM only is good enough to use forums like these to speak up their mind and does nothing practical to change things. Its very easy to criticize the politicians but at the same time requires enough courage to do something practical in bringing a positive change. We are equally responsible for the situation which is upon us today. Had we have a bit of patriotism and the desire to make things better for our country, we could have done a lot. When you have a discussion with some one about the current situation, 80-90% people will have to say a lot and critize and swear at the politicians. There is no difference. The politicians talk and do nothing and we talk and do nothing.
I think it is too early to give statements unless the long march ends and the politicians you mentioned do not participate. Its easy to swear at politicians on this forum and do ghaibat. I would dare anyone in this forum who swears at them to say that on their face. The reason is that we have become useless since we have estranged ourselves from our great religion. We say one thing and do something else. Once we are stripped of our IMAN, we lose the inner strength required to have the courage to do anything.
