Excellent Discussion. It is amazing two traditional anti-PPP journalist AQ Hasan and Shami are praising Zardari and PPP.

Abbas Athar is absolutely right that Aftikhar Ch. has become a political leader. Some deposed judges are openly abusing PPP in their speeches. After this political move all those judges who participate in this movement should not be restored in any circumstances.

Aftikhar should create a new party, organize it for next elections. I hope IK, Qazi and Ns will join his party.

Abbas Athar is such a sarcastic and non-serious idiot…In last program he was behaving alright and i was glad that he’s learnt some manners but he proved me wrong in this program…

Abbas Athar is a classic provocateur. He can’t come out and say what he wants to say. He just pricks and prods and hopes that somebody stumbles. He hopes to be like the proverbial Satan with his smudging a city wall with some honey and see whole city end up in chaos and anarchy.

Unfortunately, Haroon is too quick and acerbic for this senile old Pippliya :-)
I kinda like this Abbas Athar guy. His heart’s in the right place but he is quite pathetic when he doesn’t follow his convictions and bows to the party line.

Who are these guys…? Discussing the fate of Pakistan!

At least I know two of them:

Mujeeb Shami: An orthodox who used be the spokesperson of a militant sectarian organization. His magazine would publish sectraian slogans against rival sect. He is not an intellectual just an opportunist who works on behalf of establishment of various times.

Abdul Qadir Hassan: An illieterate person. Who was an ardent advocate of General Zia-ul-Haq and a big beneficiary of the worst dictator of his times.

I don’t know much about Abbas Athar and the other guy got fame lately. But I don’t know what was the take away sentence of this whole episode.

if you trace the past of all those who are opposing PPP you will find that they have either supported General Musharraf, or Nawaz Sharif {when he was a Blue eyed boy of establishment} or General zia.

this is a fact which you can apply to any one who opposes PPP>

    @Secularist
Is PPP not currently working under establishment? Why don’t they impeach Musharraf and restore judges with an executive order? I have become sick of their statements that Musharraf cannot use 582B as Army is not going to back him, then what the hell are you waiting for if you have no threats? Hang the basttarddd!!

Looks like you’re another jiyala who doesn’t know any other word but “BB shaheed and shaheedon ki party”

I’m not a Nawaz Sharif supporter but I honor his stance on judiciary and he has proven it. I have ZERO respect for PPP and its leadership.

Look at your leader Zardari’s views about himself “Yes, I am a coward” what a disgrace for the nation he is…stupid arsehole!!

Hamid Mir asked Farzana Raja a simple question that whether judges would be restored through a constitutional package? And she replied “Humari BB mohtarma ne apnay khoon ka nazrana de diya…WTF!!!” Who asked you about your BB and her khoon. People are now just tired of your party’s chameleonic behaviour and this frikking Bhutto leagcy. Just speak whatever a Pakistani wants to hear, BB’s blood won’t give him justice nor will feed his children.

Politics cannot be done making some idiotic and emotionally catchy slogans the cornerstone of your principles. PPP stands nowhere in my political philosophy.

“We march and fight, to death or on to victory. Our might is right, no traitors shall prevail. Our hearts are steeled against the fiery gates of hell. No shot or shell, can still our mighty song.”

“Hum Mulk Bachanay Niklay Hain——-Aao Humaray saath chaloo”

These terror threats, seized explosives, impounded vehicles, extraordinary barricades, and PPP are not gona stop the movement.

This is the best show of the lot. I really like the casual and candid style of these guys. Seems like they are sitting in your drawing room and discussing politics. This is a breakaway from the usual Q&A styled talk shows we have on TV these days. Bolta Pakistan is somewhat on similar lines, but I hate the interruptions for calls and interviews.

each party came in power after agreement with establishment(Army US).
Sometime, Nawaz sharif close with establishment and now zaradari is very much affiliated, and this is due NRO.
Establishment always remained in power in Pakistan.
    ————————————————-
Now only hope from this movement and CJ otherwise zaradari ne to ab ki baar mulk baich ke kha jana hai

I do not think that, without involvement of karachi awaam, there will be any succesfull movement.( thanks to MQM , that situationis not possible) people from Lahore and Punjaab, without prejudice did not and will not participate.

    @ Asif,

Could u please recall you memory and tell me where this lawyer’s movement started from. If I am not mistaken it was started from Lahore when lawyers and civil society from Lahore stood up against bulliness of your beloved Musharraf and they stricked.

And thanks you very much for bringing “sobaiyat” against nationalism.
