On behalf of All the distinguish citizens of Pakistan, I would like to Appeal to Mr. Aitizaz Ahsan to cut his ties with Asif Ali Zardari and resign from PPP. PPP has been hijacked by the Zardari and the other non elected and unpopular individuals like Rehman Malik. PPP’s popularity is dropping fast, and this is due to leadrship gap.These individuals are taking the party in the wrong direction and I would like to appeal to the real Jialas to take a notice of it. It is a challenge for all of us who love Shaheed BB.

I think the time has come for all intelligent people to work on pulling this country together rather than inciting our frustrated youth to make the situation more complicated.

When someone commits a crime, many times the crime remains in its place, it cannot be reversed. Musharraf has committed many. He should be tried for them to the hilt.

CJ Iftekhar has now awoken a dead nation. His stature is probably bigger than the SC. He needs to now free himself from the limitations that the SC will place upon him viz. talking to the public and the media. His conciliatory prize is that he has paid the kaffara for taking oath on the PCO previously. He should show some leadership now and work towards a better package that will strengthen the SC rather than weaken it.

Think about it, CJ Ifttekhar and 27 other judges will weaken the SC for decades to come. No new and fresh blood will come into the SC for decades, until the number comes down. Our SC for decades will live with this stigma of PCO, musharraf, etc etc.

Solution,

1. Fire all of the Judges on the SC via a constitutaional amendment.
2. Re-appoint the judges with the new process
3. Try Musharraf for all the crimes that he has committed.

CJP Please show some leadership now. You can have a bigger affect on the process from the outside than inside.

I would rather say instead of resigning from PPP, Aitzaz should play a more crucial role in re organizing it. i am sure majority of people like him and if he is made PPP chairperson, he can repair the damage done to this party by Zardari and co. That way he can also bring a new life in the party. I am pretty sure Makhdoom Amin Fahim and other prominent leaders are with him if he takes a bold stand.
At this time we lack true leaders like him. In my opinion NS and AZ both are playing games. 11 years ago, same NS removed then CJ Sajjad Ali Shah who stood against him on principles, by bringing mutiny inside the judiciary. And if I am not wrong, he also took services of Shareefuddin Pirzada for that purpose. Not only that, he removed Chief Election Commissioner who disqualified Rafiq Tarar which was his Presidential Candidate and managed through his puppet Justice Qayoom, who was then Judge of Lahore HC to suspend CEC orders overnight. Now they are talking about independence of judiciary. Zardari’s record is known to all. If we lose this chance of democracy, we will be having another military dictator for 10-15 years. Thaink about it!
