There is only one thing standing in the way of restoration of judges i.e. NRO (Zardari). I think people are beginning to see that now.

I personally think AA has missed the boat(by not giving a dharna).Alas such a great movement has ended like that. Judges issue has gone on the back burner. There is this issue of counter terrorism now which has taken priority.

long march was the climax of the movement it will take time (perhaps not possible) again to build the momentum..even if you see public is losing interest and that was the plan from zardari to waste time..as per Javed Ch. words Lamakao Policy..this Lamkao Policy is till now very effective and yesterday haroon rashid also reflect that Public mood when he said

“Kuch To Faisla karein, bhai kuch to karein, humein manzoor hay” ..

i personalyl think that after long march ..movement is losing momentum…i wish that lawyers should have been used that Long March momentum to put some real pressure on Govt. but zardari very cunningly by his lamkao policy is achieving his targets and he will be able to constitute a supereme court full of PCO judges and acting as a tool of Govt. not a brave and bold supereme court which was before 3rd Nov..

Sheikh Rasheed is making some sense now…I wish he would had thought that while he was enjoying power for the last five years.
Why they have to be in opposition to speak some sensible things??

I have been asking this simple question. Not able to get an answer. The way the constitution is now, what is stopping Mr. Musharraf from appointing all of the 29 judges right now while these people fight over the amendments. Since the budget is approved and positions created.

    Any one knows?

    to ur question (maikolachi)!

Under the constitution Judges can only be appointed through the act of parliament which means the President as symbol of federation can only endorse the decision taken by the parliament in this regard. He/She him/herself is not authorize to appointed or terminate the judges.
Last time, judges were shown the doors under the autocratic (emergency) rule. Please keep in your mind the President at that time was enjoying the dual office. Had Musharraf been the civil president at that time he would haven
